Unbelievable service started with checking in.5 min wait and was on my to pre-op. The nurses were so friendly and informative. Busy time of morning and nurses were helping each other.
Smiles all around. Anesthesiologists instructed me on what was to be expected. Took 5 breaths and awoken in recovery with no memory of surgery. Again wonderful nurse.
Best surgical center on Maui.

Dr Soren Carlsen, the anesthesiologist, the RNs and the support staff of Aloha Surgery Center did a truly excellent job of removing my kidney stone on 11/5/2020. They were very well organized and communicated very well with me as the patient. I recommended them highly. John Penhune, PhD.

Staff nice very friendly, I have had exams done there many times in fact this is maybe x7 .

BUT this is the first time I have had a bad experience with a anesthesiologist. Once in the operating room Dr Matthes ,and I am still moving into position with a blood pressure cuff blowing up on right arm and tubing in my left arm , forces, this green thing into my mouth and a mask on my face still trying to move me into position. I finally yelled. I Have never in my life and believe me will never allow myself to be there again.

Shame on the medical profession. And yes he is supposed to be working with pediatric patients.

Members of my family infact 2 of them recently died nov 1 my sister and oct 12 my brothers-in-law.

I should have listed to my brain and cancelled.
Never again. I am done.

The excuse was that they were very busy this am.

Also in the process my lip was bruised and an abrasion raised while I was in the recovery.

Shame to all of them.

Expirence as a family member waiting to pick up a patient. Their communication with family members as patients are running 15 then 30 then 45 mins to a hour late are nonexistent, they don t answer the phones or return your call. The voice messages sound as if they ve all gone home for the day and there is no recourse as the anxiety builds. Having said that, I was impressed as a patient.
