I got married in December 2019, with a destination wedding at Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu. The Aloha Films team were a PLEASURE to work with - we are so happy we chose them for our wedding! We planned everything virtually, and Aloha Films asked us detailed questions prior to our wedding day just to ensure that they would get everything "right" on the actual wedding day. They arrived to our resort promptly (early), and from the start, they provided excellent direction. I LOVED how creative they got with several shots, including drone footage! They are a pleasure to work with - such a friendly and interactive team for your wedding day, and even in the production months that follow. Charles was easy to communicate with and always responds promptly to any questions/concerns, remaining incredibly flexible to any modification requests we had. My husband and I got married on Oahu and out of all the videographer portfolio/videos I saw online, I was most impressed with Aloha Films. EVERY single video had so much thought put into it, it didn't matter if it was a wedding or a real estate video of a home. Charles and his crew add a certain feeling with sound and details that capture the true essence and beauty of what they are filming.
To be honest, the drone shots are what made his work stand out. The aerial views of our venue are worth every penny alone. Charles created the most wonderful wedding highlight video of our wedding day.
Professionally, he was easy to work with and made us and others feel very comfortable in front of the camera. When we weren't posing, it was as if Aloha Films wasn't even there, but they still captured everything! Charles worked well with the photographers we hired and the music choice for our highlight video fit so well with the feel of the day.
If you are wondering if you should get a videographer--YES GET ONE! And if you are wondering who to pick-- PICK ALOHA FILMS! I have watched and re-watched this video and our ceremony as well and I cannot tell you how happy I am EVERY time I watch them both. My husband and I also added the live feed package to have the ceremony broadcast live online to those who could not make the wedding. It is an added expense that is well worth it to share this very important day with friends and family who could not be in Hawaii with us. I immediately had messages after the wedding telling me how beautiful and perfect everything was. I honestly am very pleased this was an option Aloha Films offered.
Both the ceremony and highlight videos will help us remember just how wonderful and full of love our day was. I'm even more happy at the thought of having this as a visually interesting and beautiful film to share with friends, family, AND with our future children! I would have loved to have seen highlights of my parents wedding and Aloha Films have gone above and beyond to help us share this magical day with everyone we love.
