Me and my girlfriend got our Open-Water-Certificate at Aloha Dive and had an amazing time!
The boat they rented for us was great and offered good food and also a place to sleep for the night before the trip. So you could arrive a day early and sleep on the boat at no extra charge!

The training itself was awesome! Diving with Deb was so much fun but she also has this calm aura of professionalism, so you always feel safe in her hands. All the skills necessary for our certificate were explained patiently and easy to understand and there was always time for questions.
The dive sites were great! We did all of our dives on Anna Capa Island. On the last dive i even got visited by a seal who wanted to play with me, so awesome!

The pricing was also very fair: there were no hidden charges and you knew right from the beginning how much you will have to pay.

The class was done at a good pace, Jason was incredibly patient, thorough, and attentive. Nice, funny guy and very knowledgeable about the ecosystem, so it was fun to ask questions.

Getting certified by aloha dive was and is the best decision i have ever made. Not only are they inexpensive, but very VERY patient with students and flexible with everyones schedule.

I love the fact that everyone treats each other like family and not like a business.

I highly recommend everyone and anyone to come get certified with them. You will not regret it

This place is the best, it s close to my house and I like going there to buy my accessories and stuff, fill and inspect my tanks and always enjoy the company of the owner. You get a real welcome and warm feeling talking to the owner, his lovely wife and the occasional friendly staff.
I m all about moms and pops shop over the big corporate settings, and this place just fits that model perfectly.

Very helpful and knowledgeable They Managed to get me a 1.5 mm /2mm wetsuit to swim in my pool now that the weather and water is cold while other stores were not able to accommodate my needs. I went to REI and the surf/ skate/ scuba shop in Northridge but no one could get me the right wetsuit. Either out of stock or the wetsuit was too thick and they couldn't order it for me in my size I'm extremely happy with my purchase

The strategy of one day pool, one day ocean was the BEST was to build confidence in the skills our instructor, Ian, showed us. I had a hard time with the depth of our very first dive (super panicked!) but the size of our group & the experience of our instructor, Ian, were very reassuring.

The instructors here are outstanding. They took our diving very seriously and made sure that we were safe and prepared. We are a family of five, and we were getting certified together so I was pretty anxious about my kids getting hurt. I had nothing to worry about though. We went out with 3 instructors, and my youngest was able to work with someone one on one. The whole process went very smoothly, and we didn't have to worry about any part of it, as they have every aspect planned for you. I highly recommend Aloha Dive for your scuba certification!
