A beautiful place to visit for all the family. Excellent entertainment at the castle and activities to join in. The cafe inside the garden has been updated with lovely new food stations. Well worth a visit

Really lovely gardens, quite interactive for the kids and adults.

Even on a blustery day in early spring the garden is very interesting, well laid out with lots of interesting waterways etc and everything labelled clearly. I really liked it.

So big, easy to get lost in, and so nice, quite quiet at times but lots of tourists, definitely recommend going to the poison gardens, as it is so interesting, the gardens itself are amazing and so big. The watery maze bit is very nice and the fountains are cool. There is a long archway going down each side of the fountains which is quite marvelous, and made entirely of trees. Amazing place!

This is now my second visit to Alnwick Gardens. My first was some 4 years ago and I loved the experience then. There are very few British tourist attractions that I would feel proud to show a visitor to the UK, but this is one of the best. It is a class experience with all aspects of the visit leaving one with a sense that this is a place that is nurtured, respected and cared for. There are so many places one visits where, because you are a captive audience, you leave feeling somewhat ripped off. This is most certainly not the case at Alnwick Gardens. Accepting that the price of entry is a little high, particularly considering the cost of parking, everything else, from the food to the gift shop, is good value and reasonably priced. It is good to know that the profits go into a Trust. It is a very inspiring and restful place to visit and I only wish I lived nearer.

There was flowers. There was fountains. Staff were friendly and approachable. I had a magnificently golly good time, ol' chap

Full of lovely things to see, family friendly, the cherry blossoms were in bloom and looked absolutely stunning.

Lovely day out, even in the freezing cold. Had a wonderful day wandering the gardens.

Beautiful, reminded me of the Preti palace of Florence. Well worth a visit.

Beautifully maintained and well presented through out the site

A bit of a let down, the central feature water cascade, cafe, and food outlets where ok, free mobility scooter was a godsend, sorry but your floral display was abismal, my wife has a better display iin her own small garden, Must remember to only visit in summer next time.

Absolutely stunning! Very well kept. Poison garden very interesting. Spent there all day. Will definitely go back again. Pictures were taken at the beginning of May.

An amazing day out for all, only recommended for days where rain is not forecast as there are not alot of places to take shelter, toilets available on site along with food and a gift shop, performances vary from people dressed in costume to Little animal shows and other events, again reasonably priced, water features are excellent especially on a hot summers day for people with young kids, can easily get soaked so would recommend spare clothes just incase

Kids loved it, make sure to bring swimming cossies and towels for the kids as there is water features they can play in

Wonderful ambience in the treehouse; we were fabulously provided with delicious food and good drinks.

We had a great visit and recommend this highly. Well worth the time spent and good value.

Good water fountains and garden with a maze and cafe

Some areas were very good, the waterfalls were lovely. However, it felt a bit like an amusement park. I had hoped for more plants.

Great day out at the castle and the garden with the grandkids today, plenty of areas to eat your own picnic. Take some dry clothes with you for the kids are the water features are very much kid freindly on a nice day. Some came prepared with rgeir bathers we didnt.

After recently moving to the area we desperately wanted to visit the Gardens! We brought out niece along for the day during the summer and we all had a fantastic time. There s plenty to keep children occupied, lots of areas to explore and visit. Staff were approachable and friendly too. Hope to visit again soon.

Beautiful and well kept.... If the weather is nice, you'll love it. My experience was somewhat tainted by the pouring rain. Alas.

Beautiful gardens in the grounds of Alnwick Castle. Everything is perfectly presented and there are a variety of interesting water features.

The poison garden was interesting but slightly underwhelming. Our guide was a little monotone which probably didn't help but we thought we would get a bit more information.

All in all a trip worth taking and I would be happy to visit again.

Simply beautiful place to go and visit a must for anyone. Weddings there are simply superb especially on the night when you have the place to yourself. recommended for during the day and if you have kids

Beautiful gardens to walk around, nice food in the cafe too. Interesting bit of Latin in the middle of the maze as well....

Attended a Christmas lights event. Was canny but I think more of the paths should have been lite up for safety especially near the running water.

Spring time made the blossom hill amazing. Beautiful gardens but very pricey to get in.

One of my favourite places in the world. So pretty and peaceful, with just enough to do to spend an entire lazy day meandering about and smiling. Plus snacks.

A good place to visit especially in conjunction with the castle but take a picnic. The choice and quality in food has dropped since last year and it is very expensive

Great place to explore with the kids, particularly if they enjoy playing in water and are not scared of getting wet! Lots to do for the adults too.

What beautiful gardens! Could have wandered around happily for hours! It was so nice to hear about all the amazing work that the gardens are doing with various local groups. Think the cafe could be better, very few sandwiches out, no cheese in the fridge for the baked potato etc The gardens were busy enough that the cafe could definitely have more out.

Plenty of space, seating and interesting things to see and do. Definitely a fab day out for all the family.

What can I say but your losing out if you don't visit

A must do if you visit Alnwick Castle! There is a "Giant Quest" for the kids through the garden. Beautiful, unique and totally worth it.

I had a delivery for the Gardens, so only had a quick look around, but it s beautiful and well worth the visit.
