Great day out, slightly let down by overcast weather. Poison Garden was interesting with a great talk from the guide. Loved the Formal Garden above the Great Cascade. Lots of amazing water features. Just a shame we didn't visit when the Cherry Orchard was in full bloom. The whole place was impeccably maintained by an army of guides and grounds staff

Lots to see and do. The free 20 minute poison garden tour is worth doing. You'll never be without your gardening gloves again. But they only take 20 people at a time so investigate that first. The water features are all magnificent and kids More

A fantastic experience was last there when I was much younger brought back many happy memories. The place oozes history
Very pleasant helpful staff. I am disabled and they couldn't do enough for me. A very worthwhile visit.

Very nice place, very suitable for taking pictures and resting on the side of the plant are very manageable, the staff loves this place, the fountain is also very nice, suitable for families with children come out to play if the ticket is booked online, it will be cheaper to book the park and Castle ticket about 200 yuan

I have attended two weddings here now, and visited another two times. A beautiful venue for weddings, and a great attraction to visit otherwise, especially in conjunction with the castle

This is a great place for anyone to enjoy in the warmer months with nice walks, spectacular fountains and pleasant outdoor cafe/ restaurant areas. Don't miss out on a tour around the Poison Garden which is totally fascinating and contains everything from tobacco to foxgloves and opium poppies. The tour guide we had was really engaging and obviously knew his stuff. This was also one of the film sets for the Harry Potter films and there is a healthy dose of dragons, dressing up and magic for the kids (big and small) to enjoy in the garden. It is a wonderfully preserved castle so a walking around these extensive, well-kept grounds is a real treat.

A garden stop, I found the castle much more interesting, parts of Harry Potter were shot here. The garden is also spectacular - English - with water and tulip garden and cherry tree grove and ... there is even a poisonous plants department! Worth seeing!

Wonderful gardens that are beautifully kept.

The kids had a great time wondering around and the poison garden walk was brilliant and informative.
We would come here again and again if we were closer.

Would have been a lot higher if it hadn't been soured by an outrageously expensive cafe that didn't even have prices marked. 11 quid for a small bowl of soup and a dry salmon sandwich is ridiculous to find out when you get to the till.

A perfect visit, with an exceptional tour guide. I learnt loads, but was not bored by uninteresting facts. The whole place has been brought to life and has a lovely vibe around it, not to mention how fascinating it was to see the place set out in the same way that the family still uses it as their home! Wonderful visit!

I felt in love with this garden! Too bad I arrived too late to see the poison garden. A lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon with an ice cream. And the flowers smell soooo good! This is the garden of fairies for sure.

A lovely place to spend an afternoon. Lovely walk through lovely gardens. We did the garden tour. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the place and was happy to answer our questions. The toilets are clean and decent. We ate in the restaurant and we were disappointed by the quality of the meal.

Beautiful location, with fantastic photo opportunities, plus great for Pokemon Go players. Two words of caution.

1. There are some incredibly narrow parts of the garden, making it less than 100% wheelchair accessible.

2. Food options are limited and overpriced, even in the village. Eat before you visit.
