Beautiful garden nice place to go but a bit disappointed with not being able to see much of the outside of the castle as all of the grounds are closed.

Beautiful gardens so much to see and the castle was lovely too well worth a visit
Thee most beautiful garden I have every seen. You could spend a day in the gardens alone just looking at all the different sections from the cherry blossom swings to the lake and the poison garden too. Fantastic day, will definately go back
Peaceful place to enjoy a nice stroll. Bring a picnic lunch for a quiet afternoon.
Good to see, pay once, go for the year on pass, kids liked it
A Must Place To Visit. We Did The Castle And The Crazy Golf, But Didnt Have Enough Time To Visit The Gardens (we shall be returning for this) The Castle Is Just Amazing And A Great Day Out For All The Family (and Harry Potter Fans alike) Forunately For Us There Was A Wild Birds Of Prey Exhibit On The Day We Visited, Which Was A Real Treat. Crazy Golf (forgotten Gardens) By The Gardens Was So Much Fun, An Enchanted Garden With Huge Water Spurting Spider And Wing Flapping Bee's.

Had a great day, weather enhanced the experience, food and drinks expensive but good portions. Staff very helpful and friendly.
love to come here it is so grand and with the water feature too kids also love it
Another fab day in the castle and gardens well worth a visit
What an amazing place, make sure you bring swim wear for the kids for the water fountains!! Tree house bridges are a lot of fun as well.
It was beautiful and well kept, but the poison garden waiting thing was a buzz kill as we were restricted on time.
Lovely place. Grandchildren loved the water features.
We had a family day out at the gardens. They have toy dump truck's you can fill with water then dump it on people's feet ?? GREAT
A must go! Garden is fun and you can spend a long time here but The poison Garden is what you have to do. The guide is very knowledgeable and funny. The only problem is the garden is small and the tour is short but very good to see it!
Great place to visit for all ages. Picnic anywhere in the grounds, view the changing water features.
A magnificent garden with numerous special features to discover. One could easily spend a day or more without taking in all its delights.
Beautiful place. The Poison Garden has to be checked out.
winter wonderland walk. loved it. great nights with 8 year old and 2 x 16 year olds. a little cup of free coffee would have been lovely to walk around with for the price though. would have made it extra special.
Beautiful atmosphere! The hardens are very nice and good to relax.
Attached to Alnwick Castle but tickets can be purchased without access to the castle.
Great for all the family young and old. Lots of water features, super treehouse, various places to eat and plenty to explore. Highly recommend a visit.
The poison garden, good guide, very informative. Overall experience excellent
We love this place. Great on a warm day as kids can play in most of the fountains. Always activities on.Visited here having been disappointed by the castle. Really enjoyed the poison garden tour but felt this could have been much less rushed with more detail given. Guide was very funny though.
What an amazing day and we haven't even scratched the surface it was present from very dear friends a tour around the grand cascade even down in the amazing pump rooms we started with the castle which was incredible we had a lovely guide called Abbey who was very knowledgeable so much history a cup of tea in the courtyard then off for the tour we learned about the construction to the inner workings bored we were not!!! then we ended the day with afternoon tea I had read a bad review which the person must have been in a different place the selection from sandwiches scones jam and cream we had so much we bought some home a visit to the gift shop rounded up a perfect day all ages catered for the children had great fun dodging the cascade of water we have to go back to visit the rest of the gardens and the incredible treehouse which even caters for disabled so no one is left out I commend the Duchess for her vision and it's not finished yet
Stunning gardens with outstanding water features in a variety of places. Something for everyone, even young children with a stunning crazy golf area and mini dumper trucks to collect water from the fountains!
Fantastic day out for all ages. The garden design is brilliant, with water features as the main focus surrounded by beautiful planted areas.
Hopefully better in the summer months not sure if it is worth the money to get in though
Beautiful gardens, very impressive huge tree house and great shop and friendly staff.
So beautiful having afternoon tea there is a really great experience
The gardens are beautifully designed and the water features that children can play in are in demand.
I was turned away in the summer for having a dog. I would have happy for just wondering around the grounds but this was not allowed.
Why.
Even on a dull day these gardens are quite magnificent. There is such a range of styles and interesting sights to enjoy. The range of fountains, bamboo maze, cherry orchard and so much more. Highly recommended .
Went for a celebration of the life of some one very close and it was such a beautiful setting and it did her proud loved the water fall and the over lay out Gorgeous and staff were very very friendly and really made you feel at home
Great day out for the family, make sure you arrive early as you could easily spend a full day in the gardens. There's loads to see and explore
Beautiful place. Weather was great, lovely gardens, and the tree house is brilliant.
Very interesting place great fun in conjunction with visiting castle. Highly recommended
Garden was nice but I was stung by a wasp - 1 star would not recommend
Beautiful gardens to explore, fountains are very impressive. Cafe food is very good. Family visit for way wife's birthday xXx
Love the gardens something different to see all trough the year
Very pleasant escape, probably best visited in May, June if you like flowers. Very nice woodland walk.
We haven't be there for lease over 10 years and how much the garden have changed and mature very nice for a days out
Loved the gardens, it was great to get out and have a wonder around the fantastic landscaped grounds.
Liked the guided trip around the poisonous garden and know what to look out for. The whole family found it really relaxing and enjoyed the visit. I wouldn't mind betting we will be back!
Make sure you give yourself enough time to properly explore! We had around 2.5 hours and it wasn't enough. It is quite expensive but you can take a picnic and spend the full day there. Kids will love it.
Beautiful and well organized place, friendly and helpful staff, good prices, place to visit.
Thought it was a bit expensive, but once inside changed my mind. Gardens are amazing, well laid out paths, interesting poison garden the main water feature is out of this world.
How wonderful to be offered an indoor space to eat our picnic as the heavens opened just as tummies started to rumble. Then it dried off again in time for more exploring. Our children enjoyed the Giants trail along with their usual play spots.
Lovely garden with other formal and informal elements. Child friendly but lots of quiet areas. The poison garden tour very interesting. Waterfalls and water sculptures a highlight even on a cold day in February.
Lots to do with kids, fun fountains and mazes. Lovely orchard with swinging seats, and fascinating tour in the poison garden.
Wet day but gardens, cafe and shop still wonderful.
Loved it wandering around this fantastic space Is a joy
Lovely location to work, even better place to Visit with the family, our children love it there. X
Wonderful experience. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Poison Garden was very eye opening...made all the better for informative and amusing information regarding the plants, by the guide. Weather was beautiful and the day was topped off by having high tea in the restaurant, where the staff were friendly, polite and helpful.
Lots to see great water features the cherry orchard swings and do stop & have a drink & a scone in the coffee shop/restaurant
