Great gardens, plenty to see and would recommend the poison gardens above all while there, just ensure you get booked in as soon as you get there

I wasn't impressed the entrance fee is expensive. But Alnwick Castle was Awsome

Castle is wonderful (didn't visit the gardens) however the tea room ran out of simple things such as scones, cream & marshmallows. Plus the toilets were not as clean as they could be.

Great family day out, loads for the kids to do. One minor gripe back in February the rude on pedal tractors at the cascading fountain were a motley bunch of broken plastic....in August they still are. Oh and buy your tickets online to save 10%.

We headed over to Alnwick garden after the castle. There s a lovely walk between the castle and gardens with stunning views of the castle and countryside. Highlights of the garden were the cherry orchard, rose garden and formal gardens. The poison garden tour was just OK and could have skipped it. This place has the feel of an amusement park of sorts around the entrance and cafe. Seek out quiet spots around the perimeter for some solace.

Beautiful gardens and striking water features. The treehouse is exceptional. We went on n the autumn so the planting was a tad sparse.

It was amazig! There were so many different things to experience and do. The water fountains were brilliant and the poisned garden was great! The staff were also lovely and really accomodating. I would denfinately go again if l had the chance.

Easy to fill a whole day here if the weather is good. The poison garden, water gardens and rose garden are really special places and the tree house restaurant serves delicious fare, if a little pricey. Well worth a visit

Fairly expensive to get in but completely worth it. Well maintained and has a few additional elements such as mini golf and the poison garden.

Dedicate a day to it and pray for good weather for max enjoyment.

Beautiful gardens even at this time of year. Will be back to see the cherry blossom in the spring which will be stunning. Loved the water fountains. Cafe in the gardens is excellent

Spectacular gardens. Very popular at weekends and school holidays, buy plenty of space for everyone. A must visit if you are in the area.

The gardens are beautiful in the summer, definitely worth a visit if you re nearby. The little town of Alnwick is also a delight.

Fountains and flowers, vistas of loveliness around every corner. Truly makes trees shaped into tunnels, channelled nature but beautifully unique. A garden for all seasons, the poison garden not to be missed!

Entrance fee is a bit high, but the gardens are lovely, and the tour of the garden with toxic plants was very interesting.

I visited Alnwick Gardens last year & I couldn't believe the upgrade they had done, especially the outlay of the fountains. ITS nice to see the photos which the the Royal proprietor has included in his presentation.

A magical place that the children love. Lots to see. The water features are amazing. The tree house is so impressive. The food at the cafe is expensive but it is a short walk away from the town centre which has some nice restaurants.

Fabulous and stunning castle. Great events going on. Love that you can have your day tickets extended for the whole year. Museum parts brilliant. Going next week for Knights week.

Absolutely beautiful on a sunny day tree house was amazing

Alnwick garden and castle offer a wonderful day but BUT my wife is a vegetarian and is gluten intolerant and we could get nothing for her to eat in the on site catering facilities . Staff blamed the change of company running the catering. It seems that they simply issue a statement saying they cannot guarantee that food is allegen free, in this day and age this is totally unacceptable not even to offer simple baked potato . This ruined what was promising to be a very enjoyable day and wouldn't recommend this venue to anyone with any allegen problems. Very poor

Beautiful water feature lovely gardens I could spend all day there

Nice place to look round. A bit expensive to get in for what it is, and very busy. We liked it, but found it hard to justify the cost.

The gardens are very impressive and certainly worth a visit and along with the combined ticket to the castle makes for a great day out.

Wow what a beautiful garden, it is amazing how much is packed into a relatively compact area. Well worth a visit.

Such a great place to visit. The water features were very clever. Lots of room for children to run around. The Poison Garden was very interesting as well.

It's a must visit. The castle and gardens are fantastic. Catch it on a sunny day and you will have a great time.

Lots of parking. Entry was pre booked for a time slot entry. Very well handled. Cafe and bakery were open but a picnic in these grounds is fantastic.
This place is stunning, from the water features to the rose garden, the poison garden, the cherry blossom orchard the swings.
Great gift shop selling a good range including a good selection of the plants you may have spotted as you walked around. Sadly the tree house was not open, but that's understandable at the moment

Lovely gardens to visit with events on all year round.

I love the gardens and although it can be seen as expensive if you buy a membership it works out much more economical.

Great afternoon for kids and adults. Had a fun trail/quiz for the kids, a maze and lots for the kids to run round and see. Staff very friendly and helpful. Also had a snow room where for extra kids could go a play. Will go back in the summer and maybe to the tree top restaurant as that looked cool.
