Hmmm $2600 for 6 miles. I didn't know the Urgent Care my family member went to called them, I thought they called the city ambulance since it was just several blocks away. If I knew, I would have drive my family member to hospital. Also they didn't give you final notice before turning your bill to collector. My insurance was still working on this bill, then I already received a letter from debt collector! Usually other medical facility will setup a plan or give you different options while waiting, but they said they can't do anything about it. What an efficient company.

As an Allegiance team member, I am thrilled to work for a company who strives to be patient advocates first and foremost. Being a patient advocate means doing what is in the best interest for the patient whether that be by providing medical care or education. The executive team is committed to their employees and providing them with an enjoyable work environment. New things are in the works which will lead to even bigger and better things for Allegiance.

I was involved in a horrible accident with 7 broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a broken back and grade 3+ separated shoulder. The paramedics were great and my wife gave them all my current medical insurance, and they took me away. 5 months later they call asking for a favor and saying that they made a mistake and didn t bill my insurance company. They asked me to call BCBS and let them know the situation and to also get the information to where to submit the claim. At this point I was still in horrible condition with surgery pending and on pain meds, but I did it anyway because their mistake or not, I wanted these guys to get paid. I did however ask if they would credit me my $100 deductible for my hour on the phone and getting this insurance information to them again. In response, Lisa in billing said that she will do her best after the claim gets paid. She then asked for me to further help them by signing an electronic patient agreement that she said BCBS was requiring as proof of service - so I did. A month later, Allegiance gets paid 100% of there $5000+ bill from my insurance, and I get an EOB saying my portion is $100 to be paid to Allegiance. I then call Lisa at Allegiance back and ask her that out of consideration of all my other medical bills and all my time helping them get paid if she d go ahead now and write of the $100 that we discussed. She replied that she doesn t have approval and that we needed to get the billing manager, Michael, to approve this. So she had us email him and there was no response. Next, we called him and left a polite voicemail, but still no response. A month later, billing calls us wanting the $100, so we remind them that we re waiting to hear back from Michael. We try Michael again and we never hear back. Soon after we get notice informing us that they sent us to collection agency, and we we promptly paid. Turns out that BCBS never needed a signed patient agreement at all and that Allegiance was misleading us all along just in case they didn t get paid by our insurance. They instead used that patient agreement to create a contract with us just in case the insurance we gave them didn t pay since they waited so long and never billed them. They then use this same patient agreement that we supposedly signed to help them, and they charge us interest (we signed up for it) on the bill after throwing us into collections.

Allegiance Mobile Health is a greedy and lying band of total unprofessional, unappreciative, unethical con artists (in my opinion). This recent and true true story further helps to explain their already very low rating.

Allegiance safely transported my 87 year old aunt from a nursing home in the Houston, Texas area to a nursing home in Austin where I live. They were also on-time and observant of my aunt's health during this time. They informed me of the eta along the way. They have my recommendation.

They run their ragged. The pay is a disgrace. Would you trust a healthcare provider that gets less than industry standard? They make promises they cannot keep, and set unrealistic expectations to the consumer base. Their dispatcher are not medically certified, and are not even in the Dallas Metroplex. Ask their employees the following questions:

1. Have you had sufficient time to check off the ambulance?
2. Are you a 24 hr crew? If so, how much down time have you had?
3. Do you get paid fairly according to industry standard?
4. How would you rate the competency of management?

The answers will shock you!!!!
