Magical Express took us to All Star Music Resort, ...

Magical Express took us to All Star Music Resort, we went directly inside in checked in, which was incredibly quick and easy. We were given our pins and directed towards our room.

Once in our room we found our bags on the bed and floor - having stepped into the room we immediately noted that we were standing in a puddle of water. The carpets were completely soaked, mind you are bags a bit as well, not entirely sure where it came from, it was evident that the room was flooding. Quite angry on initial arrival we called down to guest services and let them know...

They fixed the scenario fairly quickly and said they would move us all to a different room. They upped that by giving us 3 - complimentary fast places for the park to be used within 24hours, in case having dealt with such issues at the resort delayed our day, and moved us into a new room fairly promptly. We went to Disney Springs for dinner while they made the swap.

The new room was great, awhile a tad dated as expected, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and entirely dry! We were however now in the very, very back of the resort, which made for an awful walk back and forth to essentially.... everything. The food court, bar, and all the activity area's outside of swimming are quite far away if you're in the back, so, wouldn't recommend.

The facilities were all top notch. The Swimming Pools were incredible, food court and bar, great service, and gift shop a great experience as well. We ordered room services a few times which also was always fantastic. We stuck to the front swimming pool as it was the one with the most room - late at night they were offering movies in the pool, which was pretty cool.

The Arcade wasn't completely up to par as it had a few games that were out of order but other then that it was a fun little spot for me and my nephew to hang out.

On one of the days my wife lost her Mickey Ears in the park and somehow guest services found out - they gifted us a new pair as a pure surprise which was an excellent dose of Disney Magic!

All in all while we certainty ran into a few issues at this resort Disney was nothing but short of pure magical while dealing with that in which we faced. Absolutely and entirely lived up to the hype of what they're all about and made for a great stay.

4-STARS due to the initial status of the room and a few other minor things but all in all I would recommend this as a great value resort and would likely stay again.

We spent most of the time visiting the parks, but the beds were really comfortable. The buses ran on time and the cast members (especially Annette) were incredibly helpful! We will definitely consider this resort for future visits.

Mattresses were old, pillows (despite many of them) were all flattened, as in really old. Carts (loud) started running at 5AM every day. Fridge worked intermittently. A/C unit would default to off after a few minutes. Room temp was teetering between 68 and 70, so without the fan running it smelled old and musty in there. Way better places to go off property even factoring in the extra money for parking. It literally is a motel 6 with a different facade. There also was a strange "swooshing" noise that never stopped.

We had a wonderful stay as usual. At check in I explained to Warren from New York the counter person we had to cancell our reservations due to hurricane Dorian and we had a preferred room. When remaking our new reservations there was only regular room available. At check in I asked Warren if there was any preferred rooms available he checked there was and as a courtesy he put us in a preferred room at regular room price. That was a blessing. We have stayed several times and are annual pass holders we appreciate Disney and employees very much. Warren did go beyond our expectations to make our stay a magical stay.

So far we have had a great start. The polls are well kept. Rooms are what you would expect at a "value" resort (think about a nice 3 star hotel and you're on the right track). Depending on your room you could be fat from the main building like we are which is my only gripe but hey...exercise is good for you.

tl:dr - I'd stay here again for the price

Room was great, staff was great, good was great. The line at the front desk was horrible. I've been in line waiting for a simple help request for over an hour now and haven't moved up one space. There were only two cast members available, and one just left for the day with a huge line of people waiting. The manager is sitting behind the counter on the computer not assisting.

It's a good value as far Disney Resorts go, but it is very inconvenient how the resort is laid out. If you have a room in the back of the resort, it could easily be a 10-15 minute WALK to the part of the resort that has the "restaurant" area and the transportation to the parks. We happened to drive to the hotel, so it wasn't as inconvenient as it cout be, but we couldn't help but wonder if Uber offered rides across the park! THEN- some of the park busses take sooooo long. They claim every 20-ish minutes, but we waited the better part of an hour to get picked up for Hollywood Studios.

This resort is definitely not one of the high end resorts. You do not get a bang out of your buck with this one. The rooms smell like mold, are dirty, look very old and dingy, and the lobby looks like an airport. This resort is in desperate need of an upgrade. The over phone help was also incorrect with some information. I do not recommend this this resort. You should check out Pop Century Resort or Art of Animation Resort for a proper Disney experience. Have a magical day

Great thematic hotel to stay in if your are visiting the Disney World Resorts. Has very interesting decor and setup, decent food, and fun pools. My only complaint would be stiff beds, but other than that, the rooms are very nice. Had luggage delivered right to my room once it was ready while I way enjoying the parks.

The hotel is very good there are workers who speak Spanish and you understand perfectly the rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable, the worst for me is the food, it is expensive and little variety but if you want to go to the parks at the end It is the best, it is not worth staying in hotels outside.

Perfect bang for your buck resort. If you're looking for a place to spend the night after a long day at the parks then this is great. With that being said if you plan on having just a plain hotel day I'd spring for the next level up price wise as those hotels have better activities and features. But 9 times out of 10 the all Stars are what you're looking for in a simple night stay at Disney.

Cheapest of the Disney resorts, but still has that Disney feel. Cast is pleasant as would be expected of WDW, beds are a little small but adaquet. Didn't spend much time in the room. I've stayed here multiple times, and have never had a bad experience.

It's a great room and amenities for the price. We would rather pay reasonable price for a room that you mainly sleep in. Get place for families! Pools are beautiful and life guards are attentive at the pools.

This is my second time staying at All-Star music resort specifically (I have also stayed at Movies). The All-Star resorts may give the best bang for the buck. In my experience there's very little difference between the rooms of Deluxe, Moderate or value resorts at WDW (all are comfortable but a bit drab). (Amenities and other conveniences vary). I love the pool and the nearby food court. Having a bar poolside is also a plus. There's a trail that goes between Sports and Movies if you'd like to visit or simply take a walk. One thing that impresses me if that Disney seems to have improved the wifi situation which used to be TERRIBLE. Now I would describe the speeds as "fast enough". This is becoming my most important criterion in evaluating hotels.

Better than I feared it would be. I've generally avoided the "value" Disney resorts on my previous visits, but this time I traveled as part of a larger group and this was the resort selected for us to stay at. So, a couple of minuses to get out of the way - the rooms are very small, almost cruise cabin sized. Second, the resort is very spread out. As much a matter of luck as anything, our group was in building 6, which is about as far away from the lobby/food court/bus deport area of the resort as you can get. It did make for a lot of extra steps on the step counter each day just getting back and forth to breakfast and to the buses to head to the parks.
That out of the way, the resort actually does have a lot going for it. While the bathroom was small, the water supply both in pressure and temperature was always good, which I and everyone in my room appreciated after a sweaty day of touring one of the parks. The food court, while distant, always seemed able to handle the hordes of family and band and drill team groups that descended upon it for breakfast each morning. The bus deport seemed pretty actively managed and it at least felt like the bus system was dynamically allotting buses to the waiting areas with the largest crowds that needed moving. I have a lot more respect for the All Star resorts after this group trip.

Loved staying here with my boyfriend. We stayed for two nights this past week. It's a little far out from the parks, but it's a great place if you're on a budget. We got it in a package, which was a great idea and ended up being even cheaper than we thought it would be. Would recommend, would stay again

The hotel room itself was nice. Clean rooms. We stayed in the County Fair area, building 5. It was a horrible location. Far from everything we were pretty much in the woods. One side of the parking lot was completely blocked off so we had to park far away. There was a lot of maintenance vehicles, and housekeep carts parked everywhere and looks like they haven't moved in a while. There was quite a bit of construction that we didn't know about. The playground looks like it has been neglected for a while. But the rooms were nice enough to sleep in. The hotel property itself was really nice and maintained well.

Value Disney property is a GREAT value with some promos. The room (7554) was quiet and in the bldg I'd requested (Broadway) which is furthest from the main service area (Melody Hall) but has the most parking available. The room has 2 double beds and a twin air mattress can fit on the floor. There is a very small refrigerator. The room is ideal for single/couple travellers who basically want a clean, comfortable bed, bus transportion within the resort areas, and the perks (extra hours, early access to FPP) of WDW onsite stays. Typical Disney budget room. The resort has pools, laundry, bar, restaurant, concierge, daily activities, and Magical express service--none of which I've used.

It definitely gives you the Disney Vibes. The music that rings through the buildings add on to the vibes. Could use some more cleaning, but a great place to stay for 3 or 4 days. They also offer extremely comfortable beds.
