Expensive! &
Long lines
No amenities for bus drivers ~not even a pass to explore the grounds & buy an over priced meal
The rooms are small and nothing special. No microwave, but it's not like you spend much time in the rooms anyway. Food is good and there's an arcade for the kids and 2 giant swimming pools.
The decor at this hotel is amazing! Giant guitars, jukeboxes, and all things music!!!
I love their breakfast! We're staying at all star movies but since our room is closer to Music's great hall, we've been going there in the morning to catch the bus. The food is great, and so is the service! The crumb cake is my favorite.
Awesome vacation spot. Disney spares absolutely nothing with everything they build or do.
I really like the hotel but next time I WILL rent a car.. Hotel is nice and clean especially for sleeping. Make sure you specify where you want to stay other wise you may be all the way in the back. I would come again in all!
Family place & calm bus are always after the 2 other all star
Stayed in both the Broadway Area and the Jazz Area. For what it is it is nice. It is considered a "value resort" according to Disney standards. Keep in mind the differences between this and moderate/deluxe are noticeable.
Outdoor cooridoors with lots of kids running around. So just be aware of those two things.
Fairly inexpensive (for Disney) on the food court. No sit down restaurants here.
Fairly out of the way from the parks so you will either need a car or need to use the Disney Transportation Services. Busses are free but I'm sure if you want Private Service you could do that.
This review can pretty much be applied to all the All-Star resorts. Yes, they can be a tad pricier than some of the off-site resorts, but I pay the extra for the Disney experience. Even after leaving the parks, the magic will follow you to your hotel room. The exterior of the hotel is themed after different Disney movies, so you will have a section that's designed to look like Andy's bedroom from Toy Story. Your room will be themed with a subtle Disney theme and you'll have all the Disney information channels on your television. Each of the resorts has its own quick service restaurant and themed pools. I wish the pools had a slide or hot tub, but if you're just going to the parks and only using the room as a place to sleep or nap, it's not a deal breaker.
Pro's - You have access to all of the Disney parks via bus transportation. The waiting areas are not covered, so be sure to bring some sunblock or rain gear if it's raining. Every cast member you interact with will have that special Disney charm that really goes a long way, never ever had a bad interaction with a cast member. You will be in a safe location, some of the hotels off property can be in sketchy areas and you won't really know until you check in. Each of the resorts is nicely themed and you can some great pictures. While the pools are not heavily themed, the main pool at the All-Star movies is the best one in my opinion. Quick service restaurants are located in each of the resorts, as well as a pool bar. Quiet pools are open 24/7
Cons - Bus transportation, while free for resort quests, can be inconsistent. Meaning the wait time estimate is not always accurate. You may find yourself having to wait much longer than estimated, so please calculate this into your time if you're trying to make a reservation or fast pass, I would plan for an hour of transport time just to play it safe. The rooms are your average motel style rooms, meaning they are accessed from the outside, no interior hallway. The rooms can be quite cramped, I stayed in a room with just my wife and we felt pretty cramped, can't imagine how a family of four would do. The beds are also double beds, but I hear they will be changing it to queen beds during the refurbishment. Walls are a little thin, so be prepared to hear your neighbors toilet flush in the morning.
Overall - I stay in Disney hotels because I enjoy having the magic follow me home after a long day at the parks. I like that they are safe and are nicely themed. The All-Star Resorts are a great option for those that are looking to use the room as a place to sleep or return to for a nap. If you're looking for a heavier resort experience, meaning you plan on spending a decent amount of time at the hotel, I would go for one of the moderates.
We stayed here because of it's proximity to Animal Kingdom. Unfortunately the bus ride to Animal Kingdon took 40 minutes.
Here for school event. The All star resort it very accommodating
The customer service is excellent. They provided us with lots of useful information and were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small and dated. The bathroom wasnt the cleanest I've seen, but the beds were very comfortable.
Everyone is extremely kind and smiling. It's all perfect. A world of joy.
The staff and common areas are great ,the pools are cools but the rooms are basics.
This is one of the many "budget" all-star resorts. Although it definitely has that Disney flair, it is just a well-kept motel. The grounds are nice and the pools are pretty awesome. We did get to see some characters, which was nice. Our first room had some major issues with cleanliness, but they moved us to another one. Overall, still a Disney property, but not too many frills.
Great room for a reasonable price. Pools, restaurant, gift shop
Excellent WDW economic resort. Good service, low prices, highly recommended to visit with young children.
Nice theming. Good selection at food court. Easy transportation to parks. Does the job for someplace to stay on site that is affordable
Clean, cast members friendly, food court very good, variety of food
Physical check in was easy, but online check in was a disaster. Credit cards not linked, 2 bands not activated. I would never recommend online check in. The service at the counter is always top notch, providing entertainment as you converse. The rooms are small and basic, to be expected of a budget room. What isn't expected is the quality of the decor, the amenities for free, and the always available food service. The location is one of the furthest from magic kingdom, about 25 minutes, and the bus ride is painful with small children. This is the biggest downside if you're excited about the main park. Epcot, our personal favorite, is much closer, an average of 10-15 minutes. Google maps shows the exact route to and from the hotel during check in and check out, and the routes are easy until you hit Orlando's terrible traffic. Fly if you can.
Nice place, with transport to parks and airport. The restaurant has rich food. The small rooms, at least for us who are 4 people.
This resort is probably the best of the value resorts. I stayed in a room in the Country building, the farthest buildings from the main dining area and busses. It was not a far walk, even after spending the whole day in the parks walking around. It was also a very quiet building as I m sure most people would like to stay closer to the bus area. There are quite a few pools. The room was clean and had two beds, a table with chairs, and a bathtub. If you don t have a very large group, you could easily fit your whole family in one room, but you might need to get creative with where to put luggage.
Rooms were clean the service was great. location is a bit far from the magic kingdom but close enough to the rest of the parks.
The entire place us magical, the rooms are great, the hotel service, huge pool and arcade was incredible.
Made us move rooms then didn't deliver our luggage. Had to call and get it ourselves at 10:20. Then they called at 12:20 at night to check on our luggage
Magical.. Lots of rude people at the park even though. This includes employees and visitors. Long lines. Food is $$$$. We had 3 got dogs ,fries , 2 drinks. $60.00 . You have to pay to park at Disney hotels now. Even with a nights stay.
It's a value Disney resort, so when you got a bunch of kids who are going to be in the parks most of the day and you primarily need a place to put your head at night its pretty good. Reasonably priced with all the perksnof being on an site SDisney guest.
It's a great location to stay at especially at its cost
Very nice hotel. It's huge. Where the Check in is done there is a guitar hero. The food court is very spacious with several options, although the healthy part closes before the others. There are two pools and plenty of parking
Its pretty and nice but some people like to show off their selves alot
Great clean resort. I highly recommend it. I love riding the bus to the park instead of driving and dealing with all the traffic and parking fees.
The service is what makes the resort so great. I had no issues during my stay and a cast member working there got Disney to cover my park ticket so I could propose to my girlfriend. It was truly amazing.
The treatment of the staff to their clients is excelents. That we already have 4 years in a row coming to the Disney hotels ...
The resort is huge so walking to your room is a job, the rooms are on the worn side but the bathrooms are very clean and the water pressure is the most amazing I have ever experienced. The rooms are cheap and it's bug free so I would recommend
We have gone 2 times to Disney hotels, and it was magical, unforgettable, you always want to go back, the meals included are barbaric, everything is magical, the shuttles to the parks should be followed to make it better.
Cheap resort. Clean, but small, and not very awesome.
Extremely hospitable. Nice rooms and as usual great service. The quick service food is great too.
We stayed at All Star Sports previously, but Music was an even more enjoyable experience. The Calypso section was colorful and the pool was very fun. Service was excellent, would be happy to stay there again.
We didn't stay here, but we did use the field for cheer practice before a competition. Very nice place and staff was very friendly and helpful.
When we stayed it was nice and clean. I believe we would upgrade our next visit. A little bit old fashion and dated.
While it was a bit of a walk to the main entrance from our hotel room it was a very good value for the price.
Great hotel and very good value. Rooms are clean, plenty of amenities. Biggest issue was not enough buses for parks other than Magic Kingdom.
The rooms are very outdated and small. Every time my neighbors flushed the toilet I heard it as I m sure they heard mine too. My sink took a long time to drain. Housekeeping was good.
Great deals at this resort to be on property at Disney
The room was very basic. Amenities are good though, and you can take a bus to the parks which is extremely convenient. It beats paying twice as much at some of the other hotels that pile on hidden resort and parking fees
Cute!! It was a nice getaway for my boyfriend and i
Decent rooms, lots of parking, bus access to all of the parks, and really nice pools
Staff was outstanding, everything is so convenient. Will definitely stay here again.
All-Star Music has suites spacious enough to bed 6 (if you squeeze a little), and amenities ranging from an arcade, pool, Guitar Hero, and proximity to a Food Court. Service was prompt and courteous, and the rooms were quite clean when my family moved our personal effects in. The wristbands used to pay for amenities at the parks and access your room are wonderfully convenient. On the negative side of things, some of the bathroom lights could be considered a little dim, and while the resort as a whole has wonderful aesthetics, the rooms themselves only have a few Disney-themed decorations. Overall, a great experience even though my family's youngest is 18!
