Albert Heijn XL Woensel Reviews

It is always very surprising to me that big supermarkets in the Netherlands don't accept Mastercard. It works all over the world but not in the Albert Hein stores. We just moved to Eindhoven from abroad and we are pretty quick learners (will do our groceries at the JUMBO from now on).

It s excellent super market .. always some offers will be there and quality is never compromised .. it s a bit pricey but I really like it..

Ideal to have an XL next door. I can get through it quickly because I know the product setup. There are enough staff around who answer questions well and walk with you to point. Enough parking space.

Generally friendly and helpful staff. A downside is that often products that are advertised as XL or bonus are not there because they would not be part of the store's range (so-called profiling). What this does and does not cover is annoying for a customer who trusts the official announcements. Also often empty subjects.

Beautiful large store with a wide range. Too bad the local beer has to be so weirdly expensive (3 euros per bottle)

The cassate worker tried to disadvantage my and my girlfriend for just 5 euros, so it was a bad experience

Big supermarket with helpful staff, self scanning, special bonus discount, nice beer collection. Watch for Hamster weeks where you can score cheap grocery. :)

Only got there when there was no AH in Oirschot but a wide selection of friendly staff ....

Large shop with a well-rounded range, but often also with sheep to empty bonus items. With fresh products, even if the best before date has not yet been embanked, brown spots and fungus emerge, so always pay close attention

After I paid, I got through the cashier. (middle age, short hair and black glasses accused of stealing a plastic bag!) I had put the bag on top of the groceries and settled in. No apologies, I think this is a great shame! Avoid this AH!

Great AH, despite the crowds good enforcement of the covid measures. staff are helpful and also very friendly at the till. 5 stars!

AH XL supermarket with a very extensive range and helpful staff.

Great big AH. Wide choice from a wide range. But still not the same allure as the big French supermarkets. So still enough reason to go on holiday to France. :-)

Spend over 3000 euros per year, have been there 121 times in a year and then this ........ you forget to pay a pack of detergent at the self-scan because I had to pay for it with the business pass arrested you, police there and a year of shopping bans. Note even after acquittal from the judge! Is there an article in the newspaper that the AH takes into account that something can go wrong with the self-scan, what a joke.
Like I need to steal a $ 10 pack of laundry detergent, man man. So they deal with regular customers.

A somewhat less pleasantly organized Albert Heijn with an uninviting non-food department. You first walk past the fruit, fish and bread and cheese and then you think: this is a great thing. But after that it becomes dull. The beverages department is messy. The assortment is not always in order for such a large Albert Heijn. In addition, often many smokers at the door; you have to go through a smoke screen before you can do your shopping. Parking is expensive. Missed opportunity to make a great business of this at such a location. Apparently run with disinterest or too little ambition. On the other hand, the staff can be helpful.

Best place for groceries with a huge parking spot. They have a lot of vegan food. Just turn right when you pass the gates and you will see a big fridge filled with them. Even if you're not vegan you should try them.
They also have fresh baked bread. Alcoholic drinks also have a much bigger variety here than other ah stores. Essentially, if you like ah, you HAVE to try this place.

Yesterday we did some shopping there ... we go outside that bald security guard there to belittle everyone and be more rude to everyone ... if that man with his important v on his shirt does not feel like working, he has to do something else ... they don't see me there anymore. what a disgusting guy say ... nice appearance for the shop this guy as a security guard

Large and high-quality range. Service usually good, but somewhat variable. Younger staff seems to be mainly concerned with each other and not so much with service. There is a self-scan so you never have to wait. Parking is usually paid.
