What a find. Spectacular value. The last couple of finishing holes on albamarle sound are special. We had breakfast before the round was great. Superb customer service. The head pro in the shop completed the experience. A more gracious and friendly greeting could not be found anywhere. He was awesome. For $49 on a Friday you get a round on a beautiful course and hit range balls beforehand. I want to rave about the Pro again. He is a great ambassador for the course. You leave the pro shop with a great feeling before you ever peg the ball on the first tee. I'll be back!
My wife and I enjoyed our recent vacation at Albemarle Plantation! It s a nice community with predominantly seniors in a well-maintained and private setting. Clubhouse dining features excellent service with attentive staff. Food allergies were taken seriously by the chef too! The community is off the beaten path - possibly a bit too remote for some. But it s exactly what we sought. Nearby Edenton and Elizabeth City make for fun day trips. OBX isn t too terribly far away either. We didn t try out the golf due to unusually high humidity, but the friendly staff seem to take great care of the grounds. Cell service is practically nonexistent in most of the community too ...another plus when you re seeking a true get-away ! The area is teeming with wildlife such as numerous reptile, amphibian and bird species (be mindful of the many little creatures crossing the roads both inside and outside of the community gates). We ll definitely be back.
Tremendous staff and well maintained facilities. Very laid back and relaxing with great views of the sound. The surrounding area and the grounds of the plantation are somewhat limited in some facilities so a road trip may be necessary and beaches are almost all boat accessable only.
This community is under valued. If you are looking at quality homes on a golf course and waterfront you can't go wrong with this country club. When word gets out there will be a stampede
Can t beat this place. How awesome it has everything. Want something different take you boat over to Bethel Fishing pier off snug harbor road. It is the new local hang out. The bait shop now has a small bar, serves sandwiches, ice cream and some times live entertainment. Check it out.
Outstanding place to live. Whether you're retired or still working it offers a variety of activities from golf, bocce, tennis, physical fitness and boating, from kayaking to cruising. You will also have ample opportunities to volunteer and serve the community. If you live here you wont be bored. It offers a true sense of community!
We were treated like long time members! Everybody was very nice and the course was in great shape. A definite stop everytime we're in the area visiting our daughter!
