I am a first time Ford owner and I highly recommend Al Spitzer Ford. Tim Dauteman was fantastic to work with. I did not feel rushed or pressured to buy at any time. He took his time, allowed me to test drive several vehicles and went over all financing options with me. He spent several hours with me making sure I was fully knowledgeable and comfortable with my new vehicle. It was a great experience. I will definitely return to this dealership when I am ready for a new vehicle.

Had a very smooth experience with Bill at the dealership. Set up an appointment after finding a listing online that I was interested in. No haggling about price, told them my target loan terms and they were able to meet them. In and out with my new car in under 3 hours including a test drive.
I got my new truck may 1st. When I got home I found out the mounting hardware was not with the rest of my tonneau cover that they took off my truck I traded in. I called sales person and he said yes the bag of hardware is on the bench. I went back and got the hardware and showed him some spots on the paint that needed repaired and he said bring back Monday and it will be taken care of. I let him know I would need a loaner while they have it to repaint the damaged area. I show up Monday and i am told i have to wait for paint shop to schedule it in (he hadn't called paint shop yet). Now mind you a phone call would have been nice so I didn't make trip to the dealership. Later in the week I got a recall notice and an email from service department wanting me to call them ASAP over the recall. I did and was to bring the truck in today Monday May10th. I get there and found my sales person to let him i know i was there. He said didn"t you get my call and of course no call was made to my phone we don"t have a loaner that last one went out last Friday. Again a phone call would have been nice to say we have to reschedule but none made on Friday when last car went out nor today. So now i am on hold to find out when the next strike-out on service getting done on my truck. Not a happy camper over these series of screw ups. The contact person for service department was really in a hurry to get truck in for this recall. I will update when the next mess hits fan. Not a happy camper or satisfied customer at the moment.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. We took our car there for some warranty work to be done. The car sat all day at the dealership and then they called us to say it was ready. When we picked up the car they didn t address any of the issues that we took it in for. Literally nothing was done. This was a major inconvenience as we were down to one car all day and no work was being done. There was no phone call indicating the work wasn t covered by the warranty or that we had to pay. We were under the assumption it was taken care of and were sorely mistaken. We were completely disappointed as we put our trust in Spitzer to address the problems that were clearly communicated and we were told were no problem at all . What a joke. Save your time and go to Klaben.
All of the staff was friendly helpful during the sales process. After the sale I had issue with getting my memorandum title. It never came in the mail and the manager I spoke to seemed annoyed that I needed it mailed out again. They also told me my plates were being sent to the dealership, which they later denied saying, and basically told me I was making that up.
I had to call probably 10 times until I actually got to speak to someone who could answer my questions. No one ever returned my calls.
I am not saying they are a bad dealership and maybe this was an isolated incident, but the situation was very frustrating and would make me question buying here again or recommending them.
This is my second time working with a spitzer family dealership and again they made the process of selecting my car easy and pain free. Mike was great with helping me expedite the process and answering any questions I had. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a painless and enjoyable car buying experience.
The buying experience was great! Joe. was a great salesman. I would definitely buy from him again. Now the service department on the other hand is worthless. I bought my brand new fusion and wanted auto start put in. Made the appointment n came to my appointment. After sitting there for an hour the service guy comes out and says we don't have your part it's for a focus and not a fusion. I will order it and call you when it's in. Well I never got that call. The second time I needed touch up paint. Again they didn't have what I needed so they had to order it and again never got the call as promised. They don't deliver on what they say. Very disappointing. You'd think that they would like to make their customers happy. Well I'll be going to sarchione for my ford things now. Plus it's closer to home.
After speaking with the manager they made everything right. I'm very pleased with the way they handled this situation to make it right. That's the way to make customers happy. I'm a very satisfied customer now. So easy today. Everything was ready when I got there just as promised. Thank you Al Spitzer team. You've gained my trust back. P.S. I do love my car. I didn't say that before.

Not even a handshake or the possibility of him looking to see what else he could do to get me where I wanted to be, and getting back with me. Not only that, but, very creepy standing over Mike and I during our negotiation. Lmao. Bizarre. Let Mike do his job.

My Husband and I had a great experience. Mike was our salesman and we felt very comfortable. Dealing with Mike was like dealing with a friend. He was so pleasant to deal with. Mike took his time explaining all the details of the truck and all the bells and whistles it came with. We left the lot in our new truck without having buyers remorse. We also settled up with Brett, he took his time to explain the numbers. We felt comfortable with Brett and he was a pleasure to work with.

I came in to Al Spitzer Ford expecting the same stereotypical used car sales experience...I walked out having purchased the first used car I looked at BECAUSE of the used car experience I had. I purchased my first hybrid vehicle and had MANY questions. The sales staff, especially Larry Johnston my sales contact, was as patient with me as could be while I researched if hybrid technology is for me. All of my questions were answered; some questions were unknown, but an answer was researched and given to me. Also, there was NO pressure to finance through the dealership, which I appreciated very much. By the way, this dealership is almost two hours away from where I live, with LOTS of dealerships in between! I would not hesitate to purchase additional vehicles at Al Spitzer, nor hesitate to recommend them to all. Thank you.
Well let me start with the fact that my gorgeous 2014 F150 that I purchased from Al Spitzer in 2015 was totaled out on Nov 12,2019. I loved that truck. Thankfully the person responsible had good insurance. So that day I visited Spitzer and met up with my friend Brett Gander. I will tell ya he is amazing. I put the word out to him what I was looking for and in a few days he told me to come up and see what he had, I bought it immediately. I t definitely will fill my void of my 2014. Spitzer has a true gem in Brett Gander. Thank you Brett. Got me over my 2014.He found me a gorgeous black 2016 with low miles and it fit perfectly into my budget. I am a lifetime customer of Al Spitzer Ford due to Brett. Brett must have picked their best sales guy because Larry was great also. After what I went thru with my 2014 I couldn't be happier!!!!!

Excellent experience with Logan. Fast and efficient. He was honest and up front the entire time, and made things easy to understand. Great value for my trade as well. I did not purchase a vehicle this time, but I'll definitely be back in a few months! The service center is good as well.
This place was the absolute worst. I bought an F-150 there awhile back and made it clear to the salesman, Bob Knepper, that the whole reason I was buying a truck was to haul horses. Therefore, I needed a truck with a towing package.
He told me it didn't matter if I liked one that didn't have one. They could go ahead and add one no problem. When I questioned him why the add-on price was MORE than what it was if it already came with the option, he told me it was because they had to recoup their labor... blah, blah, blah. Silly me for taking his word for it and assuming that I would be getting Ford Genuine parts along with the trailer brake controller (very important if you're hauling live animals) built into the dash and fully integrated into the towing system.
When I came to pick up the truck a few days later, they had thrown on a cheap, bottom of the barrel trailer hitch and trailer brake controller. They even went so far as to send it over to Camper City for install rather than doing it themselves. I also noticed well after the fact that they had drilled a hole through the fire wall to connect it to a power source.
I pushed back, but at the end of the day, he said, "You asked for a hitch and trailer brake controller and we gave you a hitch and brake controller." I knew at that point I had just been royally screwed on my first ever new vehicle purchase. Ultimately, I was at least able to talk them into giving me a higher end controller.
Guess what. The stupid thing never worked. I think I must have taken it back three different times. Each time it was another tweak, but it honest to God NEVER worked. It ended up getting to the point where we ended up not even being able to use it to haul and we were stuck with a truck we were paying over $600/month for that we couldn't use for its intended purpose.
I ultimately traded it in for a Fusion over at Klaben. Screw this place. I would never buy another vehicle from there if it was the last place on Earth.

The only reason the review is not Five Stars is becuase our dealer we directly worked with has only been employeed at Spritzer for a couple weeks. Even so, she was extremely helpful, friendly, as well as the other individuals that helped to complete the sales team. The vehicle itself was in emaculate condition and drives amazing. Overall, I'd say the experience was painless, as most vehicle purchases are not... Spitzer made me feel welcome and as if my business was wanted. Thank you for the amazing truck!!

I appreciate the money talks and BS walks nature of any sale....but if you have an APPOINTMENT to see a vehicle that you intend on purchasing, maybe when you get to the dealership the EXACT vehicle you had an APPOINTMENT to buy should not be getting sold out from under you. Just sayin .
Had problems across 2 dealerships in the same dealer family (this and Spitzer Cleveland). My mother in law, wife, and myself were all attempted to get bait and switched by finding a car we liked online, getting lured to the dealership, and was told it was elsewhere in their chain, but it couldn't get transferred to us. Each time wasting 1-2 hours of our time. Mine was even after they did this to my wife, we complained, and they still tried to get me in with the same last name and vehicle we had just had a scathing email with the night prior! Same salesperson!
I took it a step further and actually went where one of the vehicles were, and got to test drive, because my wife had fallen in love with it. Then working out specifics on the sale (salesperson took 2 days to respond to me after I needed to go home to talk with wife, but emailed him that day), made an appointment to come let my wife test then likely purchase the vehicle. After multiple correspondence that day including several emails and a phone call telling him we were on our way and please have the vehicle ready for my wife to take a second test drive and warranty info to hopefully complete the purchase, we arrived at that dealership and after close to 30 minutes of different waits for different reasons, was told the vehicle was sold 15 minutes prior...then proceeded right into trying to continue to make a different sale! Had to ask multiple times and still talk to manager to get my key back, and kid at door literally was laughing at us as we left. HORRIBLE PLACE!
Seriously the worst customer service in anything I have ever dealt with in my life. No ethics, no customer loyalty. Deceptive business practices...Just a reminder that bait and switch, and fraudulent advertising and sales tactics are against the law. Not everyone will be as nice as me and just walk away to take my business elsewhere.
Worst dealership and service I ve ever experienced. My 2 year old car battery died three times so I had ford tow it to this dealer. The dealer kept my car for 2 days and did not do 1 thing with it. They sent me home without an invoice stating the battery was fine as they had charged it. Naturally I thought this was not correct so I took my car to Montrose Ford who advised my battery was bad and replaced it the same day, washed the car, and provided me with paperwork. I will never go here again.
Always pleasant treats us well that's why we keep going back. Thank you guys :-)

Recently purchased a certified Fusion 1-2018. PURCHASED an EXTENDED [BUMPER TO BUMPER] WARRANTY.
FORD cars are made currently made with DEFECTIVE ALUMINUM lug nuts...that is covered with a thin "thimble" like hexagonal chrome cap cap...the aluminum will expand and contract with weather and are more prone to degradation from Salt and abnormal wear and tear. THEREFORE WHEN any tire service wants to remove the tire for any purpose there is a risk that the aluminum lug nut may become stripped and unable to be removed. There is a CLASS ACTION lawsuit nationwide to address Ford's negligence. HOWEVER THE MOST DISTURBING ASPECT IS THE BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER THE LUG NUTS REPLACEMENT.....NOT EVEN ONE OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!! i JUST RETURNED FROM SPITZER AND ARGUED WITH THE SERVICE MANAGER [who is knowledgeable about the class action suit and knows the engineering is defective] FOR 30 MINUTES...
DO NOT BUY A FORD PRODUCT UNTIL YOU HAVE THE DEALERSHIP REPLACE ALL THE LUG NUTS ON THE CAR WITH CHROME LUG NUTS SO THIS PROBLEM CAN BE AVOIDED...SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE OR GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP WHO WILL....

We bought a Ford Focus a couple years ago for our daughter...great little car, got a great and fair deal...and they always took care of us for regular service. Everyone who works there truly cares about their customers...everyone is friendly, helpful, engaged and takes pride in their work. And they do all the right things. The service dept is exceptional. Nick H, service manager is the best service manager we have ever worked with. He went way above and beyond to recently help us with a required service. Avoid Al Spitzer ford . They're all liers. They had an f150 for $15000. I made an appointment to see it the next day. They raised the price to 17,100. Who I talked to said "I'm in the business of making money " avoid this place at all costs!!!!!!!!!!
I cosigned my son's first car buying experience. Completely satisfied with Spitzer. Mike was great... down to earth nice guy. He put in the effort. They found a car that fit our parameters, brought the car we wanted from another site, fixed a couple things we wanted addressed and explained everything well at the finance desk. Would go there again for a car.
Mike and Brett understood what I wanted and why and did what was necessary to make that happen. I spent a good 8 hours working with a different dealership trying to achieve something impossible. Rather than help me into a truck that fit my wants and budget, they pointed me to other vehicles still out of my range. I left frustrated.
Not the case with Spitzer!! :) I found a truck that was what I wanted and more! Mike and Brett streamlined the process and I was driving home in a truck in about 2 hours.

Good service. The dealership had the car ready for me before I arrived and took me to car before gathering my information. I did have to take the car back to service for a minor repair. I wish inspection would have caught this.
I can t say enough about The professionalism and great work that Nick and the staff in the service department provides. I have a Landscape business so I need my trucks in good working order at all times. I have had bad luck with most other repair shops in the past. These guys fixed my truck right the first time and I got my truck back the same day and they even cleaned it inside and out. I m very thankful to have finally found a repair shop that I can trust. Spitzer Ford in Cuyahoga Falls is an amazing place to purchase a vehicle. I was given a fair value for my trade in and also for the jeep cherokee I purchased. Tex is a great salesman. He negotiated with me fairly and it was the easiest and best experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. In addition, Brett made the loan process fast and painless. I have to say I was very impressed. I had gone there to pick up a part for my truck and the first thing I noticed was how clean their service department was. There was no one at the parts counter when I walked in, but someone not working in that department came rushing over to greet me and let me know he would find someone to help me right away. I found out later he was the parts runner. In a minute someone came to help me and he too was very friendly and helpful. I was really please with my experience there and will definitely be going back. Koodos to the staff there for the warm welcome I received there and also the excellent service!
I just bought a brand new 2016 Ford Fiesta from them and the experience was simple and stress free. I traded my old car in as a down payment and they gave me great price for it. Bobby Knepper was my sales consultant and it was a pressure free experience. It's my first time buying a new car and I couldn't be more happy about it. The Service staff at Al Spitzer Ford is cheerful and courteous. They are great at getting information to you if something different is needed as they work on your car. The work is done promptly and the estimates on time are very acurate which certainly helps when planning your personal schedule for the day!
I just want to share with others my experience with Spitzer Ford and our salesperson Brian Cross and the finance manager Brett Gander. We saw a 2012 Jeep Liberty listed for sale with low mileage and a great price, it fit what we had been looking for in our own area but were unable to find. An email to Brian about the Jeep was answered quickly. Brian even took extra photos of the Jeep as we asked, including having it put up on a lift so we could see the undercarriage of the vehicle. We asked Brian to do this and answer a bunch of questions because we live over a 7 hours drive away in Virginia. On top of that, Brett in finance was able to get us an even lower financing option than what we had gotten with our bank. We did everything over the internet and phone. We felt secure in the fact that Spitzer seemed like an honest dealership and because of the great treatment we received we decided to drive the 7.5 hours to purchase the vehicle. I only wish that Spitzer had a dealership here in Virginia, I would give them all of our future car buying business!
They are fantastic! We saw a car we wanted to test drive but it was in another town. They drove it to the dealership closest us. Even the finance guy came after we decided we wanted it. They are very good and will work with you. I highly recommend AL Spitzer or any of the Spitzer dealerships. Very friendly, fast and most of all affordable.
We drove in for a "Quick Lane" oil change without an appointment which isn't supposed to be necessary per Spitzer's advertisement. Initially it did not go well, but with the help of the Service Dept Mgr, everything turned out great and we will be glad to return at a future date. Spitzer Ford has always had a great service department and that is really the main reason we have purchased vehicles through their company for over 50 years. Service means everything after the purchase!!
Scott was our car salesman and we are 100% satisfied . Zero back and fourth , we did not feel like he " played the game " with us. Not pushy at all , very polite and personable . Same goes for the rest of the staff who worked on our deal. If you would like a stress-free experience , I recommend this dealer.

Had my truck for over a week. No calls. I had to be the one to initiate two follow up calls after a week of my truck sitting there and then they tell me they didn't get anything done on it.
This was an absolutely awesome experience. Vaughn was my sales rep he was very cool and laid back he had excellent customer service skills! My vehicle was at another location and they made sure it was at their location upon my arrival! He took care of me and I was able to purchase one of my favorite cars a Camaro!

My husband and I took a gamble stopping in at a Ford dealership. We hate Ford and didn't want to look at any of them. As soon as we pulled up, we were greeted by Shaun Heilman. He was awesome to work with! We truly felt like he wasn't trying to sell us, but more or less, looking out for us. After being lied to and insulted by another dealership, we were extremely cautious in looking. Shaun was patient, kind, understanding, and most important of all, HONEST. He worked to get us into a newer car with low mileage that was in our price range. We agreed on an 07 Dodge Caliber. We even kept them an hour after closing, but Shaun and financial guy, Brett, were super patient and helpful. We can't thank Spitzer Ford enough for helping find a great vehicle at a great price! I have already recommended my family and friends to go see Shaun!

I called a day prior to our visit to inquire about the bed liner in a truck we were looking at on line, the salesman gave details about the bed liner. This morning I called to make sure the truck I was interested in is still in stock and Eric Mackey salesman assured me the truck was still at the dealership. I driver 2 1/2 hours to find out the truck had previously been sold! If the dealership will lie about the merchandise I can't imagine what else they would lie about!!! If I could give a zero I would.
The last couple of times I have taken my truck to get "The works "
they text me and say its done, But my Truck that I bought at Spitzer is never
washed? Which I have been told by everyone there that a wash is included with all services, or just pull in and we will get it done?
So why text me and say my services are done? When they clearly are not, but yet I did pay for it
