Akwesasne mohawk casino and resort Review

The seafood buffet was great. The casino was also great. What wasn't so great was the constant cigarette odor and walking out smelling like it.

I was never informed of a different rate when I called to move my reservation up a day. Also they didn't have nearly enough tables open. We had to be put on a waiting list. The floor supervisor told me he could have opened three or four more tables with the length of the list. We do not play Slots, we go there for table games. Our experience this time was awful!

Absolutely an excellent experience. Extremely helpful polite staff. Two items not so great though.. The casino smelled awful and hard to be in due to the cigarette smoke. The bathroom in the accessible room needs to be redone. A wheelchair can't fit in front of the sink/vanity area due to the raised area in front of the accessible shower (difficult to get into). The shower had no light, very dark.

Buffet was great .... Lots to select from. Very affordable for what the buffet offers. Dining and food area very clean. Great service

We took my in-laws to the casino because they had never been there. My only complaint was that the casino changed their policy for the free buffet during the month of your birthday, now you have to earn 25 points to receive your meal ticket. Otherwise it was a great trip and my in-laws loved it. Everyone was polite and helpful. The whole place is very clean and welcoming.

Me and my friend go here alot it's a nice place and workers are nice the only thing is we never win big but we look around and it's always certain ones that win all the time.i have never won a jackpot but I know some go in sit down bam jackpot.we would love to go in their and be the one to win big.we spend slot of money there.maybe it time to stop going.the machines could be unwond a bit not just for certain ones .well my friend got a free room which I am happy for er .but I guess I don't.as much money I spend there we are there all the time.its ok .I need to get my mind off things I go to relax.still trying to get on the list for a double lung transplant.i even called to get one to pay for but all booked up

Staff is helpful and friendly. Sticks restaurant has great food. Rooms at hotel are nice and clean. The casino is kept clean and has a lot of nice features..large clean bathrooms,great food options and nice gift shop

The friendly associates in table games make the stay worth while. When you are greeted with a smile, a warm concerned worker who shows that they not only care about their job but they also care about your experience enough to help someone learn a game such as my girlfriend, to give that small town hospitality, it means alot. I worked here for over 11yrs before COVID layed me off. But after 11 yrs I got to experience what it's like to see things from the other side of the table at the very same place that I brought my best guest services when I worked. I can whole heartedly say that I was proud to have worked along side the familiar faces I saw tonight because those same faces I worked beside gave their best guest services on the front line. Even though they wore a mask I could still see that they were smiling. To my past coworkers (the table games family) I wish to give you my sincere appreciation for how special a memory you gave my girlfriend and I tonight.
A special thanks to Melissa Besio for being so helpful, for bringing your great personality and doing all you do at such a high level of profession! Girl you got game!!!

This is 1 of my fav casinos though it is a ways from where I live. The rooms are big, roomy & reasonable prices, love the different games there, great pool & sauna which is closed at the present time, but I just love this casino

Attended a gathering of 24 people for a meal at the buffet. Both food and service were excellent.

I did not spend the night, however I do always enjoy going to the casino. The games are different from the ones I've got in area. It's the first time I did actually eat at the casino as well. Not much choice in food, but still pretty good.

Love it here .love drink kiosk , should have coffee self help hard to catch someone to get any .

Went for some gambling. Had some pizza at the food court. It was a pretty good time other than losing money. Some more Caribbean Stud tables would be nice!

I went there to stay for the first time. I had never been to a Casino before. It was a great experience for me as someone new. I played the slots as well as the tables. I have found a few games that have sparked my interest. I look forward to coming back for another stay. I also ate at one of the restaurants onside the hotel and the food was fantastic. Our room was great as well. We had a King Superior Suite, which was perfect for us. We enjoyed our stay and will be back very soon.

Nice place to play. No smoking inside during the pandemic. Hope they leave it that way in the future.
As for food had a burger. Reason for only 2 stars. Was charged xtra for mayo. Funny wasn't charged xtra for ketchup on the french fries.
Hope you like burgers well done and hard as a board. Cause that's how there cooked. Think I'll pass next time.

The return spot for my wife and I every year. Due to the covid-19, you're not allowed to drink on the gambling floor, no smoking indoors, no access to the fitness center or indoor pool, or any of the massage packages, : ( then to top it off I got rudely yelled at by a dealer 4 using one curse word, my wife asked if there was rules saying you could not swear. Her response and another guess response was it's a family-friendly place. But yet when we booked the hotel room, they said no kids under the age of 18 are welcome "family friendly" I wonder what their definition of family-friendly is.... lol. It was just nice getting a night out with the wife alone..

Good size casino with A LOT of slots. Some table games there too. Takes Canadian money as well. Lodging is right there too. Buffet didn't have many choices though.

Here is what is the opposite of the Montreal casino! Even if this place is about 1 hour 30 minutes from Montreal, you will find outstanding customer service there! A nice game offer, a nice comfortable hotel, a generous reward program and for the food the prices are very good and more than half the price of Montreal. Of course we are in the USA so there is nothing fancy but when we go to the casino we want affordable and accessible food I do not expect filet mignon at the buffet.bref don't ask yourself anymore if you have to go and go!

The beds are sooo comfortable. The check in went smoothly. There is so much to see here. The overall layout and decor is so beautiful. The fare at the Maple House Steakhouse is absolutely amazing.

Great place for a afternoon or evening or a weekend of fun . Make sure you ask for a bingo schedule .

A great place, we had lots of fun. The casino was great. Lots of machines to choose from. The room was excellent, bed was comfortable, soft pillows. The bathroom had a spacious enclosed glass shower that was so luxurious. Staff were friendly. Didn t like the smokers so close to me but it s allowed there so what can you do? The drawback was the Country Harvest buffet was minimal and the food was not that great, I wouldn t have choose to eat there but it came with the room package we chose. I will definitely go back because I didn t get to try out the Bingo palace yet.

Had a great time. Played slots for hours, machines were paying enough to enjoy the whole time e I was there. Very impressed with the room I was comped. Already have my next trip booked.

Awesome restaurants; my favorites are Sticks and Maple Room. The mixed drinks are great too, love their whiskey sours and strawberry daiquiri. I have never stayed at the hotel because I only live 15 minutes away, but its a fun place to go to pass time and unwind. The service is usually always excellent and they will work with you to accomodate you if you have any issues and concerns. I do wish they would have more going on in the way of entertainment acts though.

Great service at the buffet. The food and atmosphere was great, until I found a hair in my food. Kinda turned me off for a bit after I found that. Nobody offered to do anything to make it right.

Fun atmosphere throughout the casino and at cascades. The service at Sticks restaurant was good but quality of the food is lacking.

I went to the Casino for a cosmic bingo night which was fantastic. It was a ton of fun and I'd recommend it to anyone 18+. There are a lot of dirty jokes thrown around by the hosts and if you have a sense of humour it's extremely hilarious.
