We only stayed one night and were unable to enjoy either the pool or the spa (which for obvious reasons is currently unavailable). Honestly, from a 4-star hotel I would expect a little more attention to detail and cleanliness of the rooms; the room and bathroom were not very clean and the floors were still wet when we arrived with an unbearable smell of freshly sprayed air freshener. Even the fridge broke down that one night.
We really appreciated the attention to the covid issue for breakfast, buffet but with waiter ready to serve everything.

I spent two days of total relaxation. The Spa is not very large, but inside there is everything that can be used to spend relaxing hours: sauna, Turkish bath, emotional shower, Jacuzzi and indoor hydromassage pool. On request, massages and beauty treatments can be requested. The rooms are spacious, clean and up to standard to accommodate H porters with stepless toilet and shower.
The staff is nice. Meals are abundant and varied. For breakfast there is also a corner with bio and gluten-free products.
Bikes can be hired for excursions. At 17 kilometers from the hotel you can easily reach Etna and the Sapienza refuge, from where you can take the cable car. I recommend the Airone wellness hotel and I myself will be back!

Nice room, beautiful bathroom, small but bright spa, for lunch and dinner the first courses are abundant and good, the second ones a little less good but always abundant.

Good general experience, small but 5-star spa, small rooms (at least the one in my package) but really welcoming, polite, courteous staff. My respect goes to the kitchen which has proven to be truly classy, my girlfriend and I took the shavings with beef and porcini ragout and the risotto with zucchini and shrimps respectively. Given that I do not eat porcini, courgettes or prawns and tasting both I was satisfied. The exterior is also very nice!

Ideal place to relax and escape from the daily routine ... spotless and comfortable rooms. Spectacular hydromassage pool, splendid location and very cordial staff ... five stars more than you deserve.

The hotel is not suitable for a relaxing holiday - every day weddings or coaches etc which are recklessly noisy. The staff was unfortunately neither hard-working nor helpful and communication only works with Google Translate in Italian as no English possible. Guests who stay longer than one night are not appreciated and ignored. Unfortunately for this price range disappointing!

Lovely place among the trees with a breathtaking view on the slopes of Etna. Outdoor swimming pool surrounded by lawn and trees for total relaxation, indoor wellness center with swimming pool with stars on the ceiling.
In summer it is possible to have breakfast outside under the trees.

Great for couples and families. Excellent quality-price relation. Hearty breakfast although to be supplemented with fresh and Anglo-Saxon products (basin, pancake for example) the restaurant's cuisine is excellent and desserts exceptional.

I had a great time. The panoramic rooms are excellent. The swimming pool surrounded by a green and shady park is wonderful. Nice and friendly staff. Family atmosphere. Excellent location a stone's throw from the volcano and from Zafferana and neighboring countries. I definitely recommend it.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights. As soon as we arrived we were informed that we could not use either the SPA "for covid reasons" (according to the ordinance of May 25, not considering that of June), or the swimming pool due to a wedding banquet. From a 4-star hotel one would expect greater respect and hospitality towards customers (who were not greeted upon leaving the hotel and mature people were told that they could use the children's pool). Cleaning leaves something to be desired, on our arrival the bathroom floor was wet, the shower door had not been cleaned and the soot from Etna had been lying (probably for some time) on the terrace. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Very good hotel located 2 minutes from Etna, unfortunately too cold to enjoy the pool, a tb meal, exceptional wine, nice service, room pr 2 a little small but still passes.

I have never stayed in a hotel room but I often had the chance to visit it for events or dinners / lunches. They are all friendly and friendly from the reception to the servants and I personally believe I have always enjoyed myself.

Beautiful location. Impeccable service. I had breakfast. I ate very well qualitatively and quantitatively exceptional products. Precise staff competent and always present. Nice and clean rooms. As for the SPA, it was also clean and beautiful, but I would have preferred to find someone of the staff on the place.At 10 o'clock I turned on the steam room and sauna.

Hotel immersed in the greenery of a lush mountain village, recently renovated in an elegant and comfortable way. It has parking and reception 24 hours a day. The real surprise is the free wellness center with sauna, heated pool, Turkish bath and gym. Prepared and competent staff.

Unfortunately we were able to stay in this beautiful property only one day but we enjoyed it well. The rooms are spotless and equipped with the necessary comforts, the heated indoor pool, part of the spa, is a spectacle of relaxation and an environment with attention to detail, such as the "starry sky" on the pool ceiling. That alone is worth the entire journey. The outdoor swimming pool is also wonderful. However, the thing I appreciated the most is the great professionalism, kindness and helpfulness of the staff, truly impeccable.

Jo, the hotel is rocking! Apart from the sub-optimal WiFi coverage, the hotel is really very good. Nice helpful staff, great pool and a wonderful SPA with hot water grotto.
Added to this is the location on the slope of Mount Etna. Who wants to go up has the chance to be one of the first due to the location. Always good when there are no tourists in the picture!
Nevertheless, the hillside also offers a great view of the coast. Whether in the morning, in the evening or at night - it's worth it.
The room on the entrance floor was spacious, modern LCD TV, large bed, only the shower was not quite as spacious.
Particularly noteworthy is the large selection of honey for the Italian primary breakfast. The place where the hotel is located is known for its honey production. Also for me as a rather "not honey eater" there were some interesting variations to taste.
Fun fact on the side: The cocktails are actually a bargain here. The barkeeper still has to practice a bit, he likes to pour generously. Bad when there is no more space for an ice cube :-)

It is more of a spa is a fabulous place.
Location situated 8km from the slopes of Etna and only 30km from dell'Alkantara gorges.
Structure complete with all the comforts and the courteous and competent staff, the kitchen is the top between taste and class that does not disappoint any expectation.

The Hotel is excellently positioned and is very beautiful both externally and internally, enjoying a characteristic and suggestive panorama.
The welcome was excellent and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful for the entire stay.
The breakfast was abundant and very good, set up outdoors in the middle of the trees. Very suggestive.
The swimming pool and the adjoining area are well maintained and are excellent for spending a few hours of total relaxation.
The negative notes are related to the room, which despite the spacious bathroom had a bad bed, and to the dinner (half board), good at times, with sometimes skimpy and not always tasty portions.
Finally, the wellness area is tiny and not very clean.
From a four star one would expect something more especially for the price paid.

Rooms, ours was the "Overview", nn huge but with a small terrace on the dreamlike Ionio! Good cleanliness, breakfast Super young and courteous staff. Highly recommended experience!

Nice place very cozy in the rooms and good food, very nice relaxing area with Jacuzzi pool both large and small, turkish bath and sauna, the only thing a discordant Po I think the relaxation area had to be with a schedule, is not unlimited , to avoid overcrowding of customers.

Enchanting foothill hotel just outside the Etna zafferana with attention to every detail. Welcoming and competent service. Dominant position with a breathtaking view. The wellness center, albeit small, is equipped with everything and very clean. Finally, the half board and full board menus are excellent and abundant, and the wine is decent. A great place to stay, relax, and then move to that magnificent mountain which is Etna!

Since 2004 it is a must! We go there almost every year! I am pleased that over the years it has gained excellent reviews because the structure deserves a lot and if it plays with the most renowned hotels of Catania! Excellent and plentiful breakfast and everything perfect for catering. Personally, he has nothing to envy of a 4-star.

Lovely facility. The only discordant note for the wellness center, which despite being well done, lacks organization because we went upstairs in the room wet with only towels .. and with a noticeable change in temperature given the air conditioning. the bathrobe had to be asked separately. And there is no private dressing room. For the rest, absolutely beautiful.
