Jo, the hotel is rocking! Apart from the sub-optimal WiFi coverage, the hotel is really very good. Nice helpful staff, great pool and a wonderful SPA with hot water grotto.
Added to this is the location on the slope of Mount Etna. Who wants to go up has the chance to be one of the first due to the location. Always good when there are no tourists in the picture!
Nevertheless, the hillside also offers a great view of the coast. Whether in the morning, in the evening or at night - it's worth it.
The room on the entrance floor was spacious, modern LCD TV, large bed, only the shower was not quite as spacious.
Particularly noteworthy is the large selection of honey for the Italian primary breakfast. The place where the hotel is located is known for its honey production. Also for me as a rather "not honey eater" there were some interesting variations to taste.
Fun fact on the side: The cocktails are actually a bargain here. The barkeeper still has to practice a bit, he likes to pour generously. Bad when there is no more space for an ice cube :-)
