Structure with great potential that however is not followed with the right attention and desire by those who should take care of it.
The Spa, although small, is welcoming, but unfortunately it is abandoned to itself and open to families with children and groups who think they are in a water park or by the sea. Anarchy is in force. Same thing in the restaurant where the professionalism of the staff is thwarted by the poor general management of the structure which tends more to quick earning than to maintaining a reputation. All of course at above average prices.

Lovely place, excellent texture of all viewpoints impeccably organized by a friendly and professional staff. Special thanks to Sutera director, always available to listen and satisfy all requests of the guests. I will definitely be back!

Overall mediocre stay. It has many shortcomings: air conditioning NOT working in the whole structure, despite the change of room, after various reports nothing has been resolved. Swimming pool NOT usable when there is a wedding. SPA and swimming pool unattended, despite the height of the pool of 1.80 m (I let you imagine ...............).
Management staff little interested in solving problems.
Excellent breakfast and staff in the room.
I wish I could have stayed a few more days but gave up.
Too bad for the beautiful structure !!!!!!!!!

Fantastic, personal, rooms and rooms with ten and praise

Very nice place, with an exceptional view and in the wooded slope (you could hear the frogs). Outdoor wedding in bucolic style very well organized and very good lunch service (only fish was a tad too overcooked). Hotel, restaurant, swimming pool, very clean bathrooms, children's playground and refreshments overlooking the pools

Stunning views, pools which are great. No porter service and lots of stairs some not covered by lift.

We used the spa and restaurant and were very happy. All perfect.

sweet (cakes, croissants, pies, biscuits, cereals, fruit) and salty (cold cuts and cheeses and eggs). Squeezed Sicilian oranges .....

I have stayed overnight more than once and I recommend it to everyone. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff very polite and friendly. The spa is a bit small but has everything you need to be able to relax. The only downside to the spa is that people can come in at any time and can stay as long as they want. I happened to have to have the whirlpool with more children playing and screaming, with many people and therefore limited spaces.

With a beautiful structure, clean and with attention to detail and with a breathtaking view, the Airone is the ideal place to relax and feel pampered. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the kitchen offers really tasty dishes and the spa is relaxing and clean. Highly recommended!

Good location, very small rooms is not very comfortable, small and uncomfortable beds, sufficient breakfast, excessive price.

Beautiful place, relaxing for the whole family, two outdoor pools and a well-kept area allow you to spend a peaceful afternoon or morning ... excellent breakfast, abundant and always very attentive to the staff. The hotel is very close to the Sapienza refuge (at the foot of ETNA) and also close to Milo, where it is nice to spend a morning at the adventure park with the children ... the wellness area is a bit small but if used by everyone with the proper ways lends itself very well to offering the right relaxation. From 7pm you can access with children / teenagers under 14 years old. The fitness room has what it takes to keep your workout or to "burn" fat stored somewhere ...
All the staff are really friendly and helpful ... fantastic stay.

Very nice hotel, professional staff and always very helpful. But two big flaws that a 4-star can't afford: The SPA too small and not organized at all, staff totally absent, the people, rude, left unchecked, do what they want with the children who believe they are in the pool; in the afternoon 40 people in an environment that can contain less than half of them. The other huge flaw ?, in the restaurant, a host of screaming children chasing each other between the tables, with the risk of hurting themselves and making the very professional waiters fall, while the parents, quietly sitting, having dinner, regardless of the uneasiness that the children left free to do whatever they wanted, caused all the rest of the people who just wanted to have dinner. Therefore I give only one star. If the managers remedy these flaws, certainly 4 stars.

The splendor of the mountain, and the bright green are the frame of this well-kept hotel but not in the smallest details. I recommend more customer care and more availability. Access to the Spa on exiting from the rooms with bathrobe and towels, when they should make available a dressing room in Spa. If sgarra breakfast hours even half an hour, even though it was paid, they will tell you that the kitchen is closed and you have to go down to the village!
To improve, because it is a beautiful structure and you don't pay very little, so more about it!

For the end of our stay, we decided to indulge ourselves with the panoramic room formula. I admit a disappointment. Although the view is beautiful, window small, bedroom tiny and the dinner was a disaster despite its high price. Spa well, general quality of the hotel at the top: swimming pool, magnificent park.

A very comfortable room that included a terrace, common facilities (swimming pool, gardens, spa) that are extraordinary, and its very friendly staff made our stay a 10. Breakfast in the outdoor garden is a delight

We stayed in your hotel many years ago for a visit to the volcano as reviews did not exist then I feel compelled to do so now. Despite the inconvenience for our suitcases at the airport, you gave us the necessary support, excellent breakfast and dinner, a little small room, friendly and helpful staff. The only small drawback is the gate opener button a bit uncomfortable but now it will be fixed. Hoping it ends soon I'm bad moment I would like to go back to October maybe. Hello everybody

Hotel with a beautiful panoramic position 2 minutes by car from Zafferana Etnea. The room was clean with a nice panoramic view. We ate well at the restaurant and the price was normal. To report the beautiful outdoor swimming pool.

Very polite staff, eat from skifo and very disappointing room services, change sheets every pope's death: let's not talk about mattresses (better to sleep on the beach certainly much more comfortable.)

Given the beauty of the place the standard rooms are really small, and we literally didn't like the towels, a lot of dust in the rooms, varied and plentiful breakfast, sufficient dinner.

Excellent location for weddings, business conferences or simply to spend a weekend away from the daily tram.
The rooms are very comfortable even if a little small.
The restaurant is really great. The meat is of first choice and cooked to doc.
You can admire a breathtaking view while having breakfast thanks to the room that has a huge semicircular window on which you can admire the whole of Catania, arriving as far as Calabria with your eyes.
It also has two outdoor pools, an indoor SPA and a gym.
A really nice place.

The Airone of Zaffetana is a great hotel that offers excellent services. For us it is the second year that we stay in the summer and we really enjoyed it. We will be back soon!

I have already visited the place twice and it has always proved to be clean, warm and quiet .. an escape for a few days is a must.

Exceptional hospitality. Like in the family, but with the spa. Cozy spaces. I recommend taking the room with a terrace overlooking the sea.

on the occasion of a friends wedding, I returned to this beautiful location.
The reception took place in the best way: the very refined first courses, all with attention to the smallest details.
I would give a little advice: it would be advisable to make more than one bathroom available to the guests from the moment this stopped a "row" before entering the hall.

Airone wellness hotel is located a little higher than the center of Saffron, I had the chance only to see a part of the structure; a beautiful, elegant room for receptions from which you can admire a wonderful view of the coast, I am aware of the fact that the structure offers many services, not only rooms and restaurants, but the possibility of receptions and the wellness center.
