If I could give zero stars, i would. The communication is terrible!!! My husband and i have lived at Meridian North apartments since last October. The past 4 weeks we have been out of our apartment because of poor management and poor maintenance. NO AC, we had electrical surges for three weeks, so no refrigerator, had to throw out ALL of our food. Nobody even offered to compensate us for anything. On top of all of this there is MOLD in the utility closet due to a water leak that we had asked to get fixed multiple times! I am pregnant and cannot be around that! I could not even get them to give me the cooperate phone number. We have been couch surfing and are over all the stress and being ignored. At this point, we just want to move out and terminate our lease. My husband waited two hours to talk to someone today after already having a scheduled appointment at 11:30. If something is not done in our favor we will be contacting the health department and a lawyer.

After receiving the keys to the property at Riverpointe Town homes managed by Aion, I did a thorough walkthrough and discovered a number of issues with this unit. First and foremost I was under the impression that the unit would be an updated one from the pictures and from the information provided online. It turned out not to be what was online more like fake advertising.
Front door does not lock and looks as if it was forced open at some point.
Rust around the shower and shower head.
Big hole in the back of one of the bedroom door that looks like someone just painted over it.
Dirty and broken electric sockets and plates.
Loose door knobs that are clearly old.
Transition strip needs to be replaced.
I have 2 small children and they re safety is my priority and this home is not safe no one picks up the phone ever.

I used to live on this property, but recently bought a home of my own- I just want to acknowledge Sherry Haro and Juan Correa. They should be rated a hundred gold stars. They are very personable and do their best to make sure the demands of their residents are met, (some of the residents are VERY hard). They are the ideal faces of the company and honestly deserve so much better.

It would be nice if SOMEONE would answer their phone or return calls. The issues that my pregnant daughter is having with your company is unbelievable and very unacceptable. As the board of health and Indianapolis TV stations have been notified of the management of Meridian Hills properties.

Came home this evening to no A/C. I ve been on the phone three different times with AION/metro pointe Apts. I m being told that there is no one available for emergency Maintenance requests. So I m here at home with an indoor reading of 87 degrees- INSIDE!!!!! so I guess I ll be without air until they reopen on Monday and then another 3-4 weeks before I actually have the issues addressed and corrected. Not even mad at this point just very disappointed.

Cherry Hill Towers: A few families that moved in earlier this year have completely hijacked the place. This issue has been going on for months now. No serious action is being taken by management. The entire community is talking about this amongst each other and all are frustrated and livid. Aion should step in and take serious action because the local office clearly can't handle this situation, which has gotten completely out of hand. We're talking massive littering all around the buildings and outdoor areas, excessive congregating at all hours of the day and night in the common areas: lobbies, pool, indoor and outdoor. The children, women and men are congregating separately due to their cultural beliefs, and when other female tenants walk by the groups of men they get yelled at. The children occupy the gyms regularly (against building rules) putting themselves at risk of injury from equipment, and arguing with adult tenants. A dog owner has reported multiple occasions where the children have thrown rocks towards their pets, in front of their parents, who did nothing until the dog owner pulled out their phone camera to film them. The property which has recently been renovated is being completely run down by these groups who have no regard for community property and their neighbors. Multiple tenants have submitted complaints to no avail. We plan to issue a petition to Aion directly if this doesn't receive a real resolution soon.

They are extremely disorganized and have no communication skills. They do not return phone calls or even reach out to paying tenants to let them know what is going on with maintenance repairs. All tenants in 2 buildings have to move to other buildings due to lack of maintenance from old owners causing major structural issues. This includes our building. To be fair the structural issues are not due to Aion. They do however have complete control over contacting tenants by returning phone calls and making repairs in a timely manner. Needless to say I do not want a standard reply in regards to this review. I was told I would receive phone call from district manager 2 weeks ago. No call!

I applied to a property they manage in Indianapolis for a specific floor plan that met my move in needs and where I wanted to be for a price on Friday, 7/16. I was then asked to submit documents to continue the application process on Monday, 7/19. Later that afternoon I was called and told that I lost the apartment because I did not pay the $200.00 reservation fee. However during the application process I was never prompted to pay more than the $50.00 application fee. I will admit I was very frustrated because I had done my part via your online system and I m in a time crunch to move into an apartment.

The next morning I check the website and the same floor plan I was told was unavailable was back on the website. So I applied, again, and paid the $200.00 as I had been instructed to do to hold the apartment. I was then informed that this apartment should not have been on the website, that maintenance cannot get it ready in time. So I was told one day it was not available because I didn t put a hold on it and the next day I m told that it s a maintenance issue.

There is clearly a lack of communication between the leasing staff and future residents of what units are available, etc. It is also clearly acceptable to lie as well. Currently this property does not have any apartments available to meet my needs and the on site staff is refusing to refund any of the money.

I have reached out to the on-site staff several times and corporate who just forwards it on to the property who clearly does nothing. REFUND THE MONEY.

Terrible unprofessional, dishonest and incompetent. Moved to the Woodlands Belleville NJ and its a nightmare. Your charged $10 for trash removal which is included in property tax which is calculated in rent if your renting and the bins are over flowing. They charge for water and sewage but cannot provide you with a meter reading and the bill gets higher each month. $50 for parking and they giving multiple people the same parking spot. For weeks I couldn't park in the spot they assigned me because someone else was parking there and I still had to pay for it. Incompetent staff who makes mistakes with rent calculations, and they expect you to pay for their mistakes. They wanted to double charge you for the same thing and when you decide your not going to pay for someone else's mistake they try to pad your utilities. Here my water bill is higher than my electric and gas bill. its a nice community pretty convenient but not worth the headache. Your better off going to Montclair, cedar grove area which are better communities for the price you pay to live in belleville.

We applied for an apartment at Metro Pointe in Baltimore, which is managed by AION, a few months ago. We had to pay the application fee and a $200 holding fee. We were never contacted about our application or even a tour. We called repeatedly and left messages, along with sending emails and still nothing. We did not hear from the leasing office until we posted a negative review on Google. We have found another complex to live in thank God, but we are now waiting for our $200 refund. It has been weeks and still no contact from the office or corporate. This is extremely unprofessional and saddening in times like these where money is scarce to many families. All we have received recently is a "move out" slip via email which frankly irritated us more because we NEVER MOVED IN. Someone needs to be held accountable and we hope to receive our refund sooner than later. I can not review the actual apartment because I've never seen it unfortunately.
