Monyette Faulkner-Pierce Review of Aion management

We applied for an apartment at Metro Pointe in Baltimore, which is managed by AION, a few months ago. We had to pay the application fee and a $200 holding fee. We were never contacted about our application or even a tour. We called repeatedly and left messages, along with sending emails and still nothing. We did not hear from the leasing office until we posted a negative review on Google. We have found another complex to live in thank God, but we are now waiting for our $200 refund. It has been weeks and still no contact from the office or corporate. This is extremely unprofessional and saddening in times like these where money is scarce to many families. All we have received recently is a "move out" slip via email which frankly irritated us more because we NEVER MOVED IN. Someone needs to be held accountable and we hope to receive our refund sooner than later. I can not review the actual apartment because I've never seen it unfortunately.
