Visit for the butter chicken, one of the best in Hyderabad. No doubt about it.
They pride themselves on their butter chicken and you should order this everytime. The service needs a lot of improvement though.

Alacarte food is very delicious.. but the quantity is very less. The less quantity makes it a little expensive.
Interestingly buffet during lunch time is equally bad. Am surprised if they have different chef for dinner and lunch.

never book buffet lunch or dinner via Nearbuy to this restaurant. they dont serve buffet at all..based on head count they either accept or reject the reservation. later on you will end up with cancelling the coupons and wait for 1 month get the refund....i still not received my refund from Nearbuy.....
let me tell you my sad experience with both nearbuy and mothi mahal...in the month of December 2018 i booked 22 lunch buffet coupons from this so called moti mahal thru Nearby which has 1 month validity. we called Moti mahal to reserve the tables in advance and we told them that we are 22 ppl planned to have a lunch on so and so date. they were very happily reserved and kept on calling for confirmation on head count through out day and night. fine day we all 22 people went for lunch buffet to this restaurant. after entering there is no buffet ready, when we ask the manager they said they will serve on table. we thought ok may be we were little early that day...finally after a loooong wait we got the welcome drink and few more mins received starters and after some moooore time we received main course. finally what we understand is they are preparing instant food upon the order...and there is no buffet at all..service was dam slow...few items were not served even after asking multiple times thy saying it will be served in few mins...so pls be careful false information updated in nearbuy and thats not the actually happening in restaurant.
and the 2nd incident i booked 4 more nearby coupons ( i know the service is dam slow but i am on leave that day so not worried about the delay) attracted to the offers given in nearby and booked again. this time i said we are 4 ppl and wanted to reserve the table on so and so date. they asked me how many people, i said 4....they kept me on hold and resume the call after 3 mins and denied my booking stating that Buffet is not available for that date and they cant provide buffet for 4 people. i asked them..why did't you updated in Nearbuy site so that we would have booked another restaurant. they replied stating that contact nearbuy.. we are not responsible...hmmm very bad...i complained to nearbuy they said they will escalate to Moti Mahal...finally i lost my money for 1 month

Personally I liked the veg items over the non-veg items. Prices are decent. People who love less spicy Indian food would appreciate this restaurant.
went there 2 months back for south Indian veg lunch, really horrible paneer curry and the veg biryani is exactly tasting like Sambar rice !!,even food on road side restauarnts could have tasted better. completely waste of money for vegetarian food especially biryanis asked manager but no help :(

Pathetic services. I had a horrible experience. Went out with family.
Soup was served half an hour after d starters. Taste was OK . bit d staff were not at all cooperative. Order was in bulk so we asked to pack the rest overs for take away, but it was unbelievable DAT dey threw it in the dustbin. Every staff was blaming the other one.
Overall I had a v.v.bad experience and would never suggest anyone to go there to spoil their mood.

The place has the best starters. Murgh malai kebab and Pahari kebab are just perfect. You cannot have enough of them.
The best part is the consistency. I have been to this place 5 times, and each time the taste remained the same.

While the idea of living in a different city and admiring its cuisine and culture surely excites me, there often comes a point where you would just want to turn back to your roots with a bowl of your favorite comfort food. Hailing from up North, things like Butter Chicken and Dal Makhani with hot Garlic Naans are one of my absolute favorites which time and again, I love to go back to. To my dismay though, there weren't many joints in Hyderabad I knew who did justice to what I am used to being served in the North. But that was until I had a meal here at Moti Mahal Delux in Gachibowli.
Speciality items here include the very famous Butter Chicken and Rara Gosht paired with hot and fluffy Tandoori Roti.

Delicious food, curtious services, reasonably priced.
The food is average. Ambiance is average. They maintain a dark environment. We went for a Lunch Buffet. There was no lighting even where was food was placed. Most of the people who visited felt lot of inconvenience due to this. It was so dark that we were not even able to make it out looking at the food what it is.
Coming to the food, the taste was just average. Both veg and Non veg tasted just average. The staff is also not so well maintained. They keep disturbing when we are eating for the bill details.
