3.5 to give but Google maps doesn't let you so putting in 4. It's definitely there for those craving for Delhi's famous restaurant.
Butter chicken - 3.5 out 5, creamy, tasty, extremely well cooked succulent chicken but that small sweet tinge that you need to get from Delhi's butter chicken was missing so lost on half a point.
Daal Makhani - 3.5 out of 5. A Delhi punjabi's fav daal, justice was almost done if they would have had a layer of cream/makhan scattered on top of daal. No Daal makhani is complete without a clearly visible layer of white cream/makhan over top. half a point gone again.
Service - quick and clean, 4 of 5
Staff - courteous and attentive, 4 of 5
Decor - OK, 3 of 5
Walk to restaurant from stairs or lift - Sad, 1.5 of 5

So its not your date place for sure but its a place to succumb to ur longing for a Delhi butter chicken. Just go, eat, smile, feel content and walk out. Its not for experience but just for the taste of food.

I you like Delhi food ...you would definitely like the place. Price is ok, given the quantity -good for a group of 3 or more. The major disappointment is their service - not understaffed, but the staff seemed disinterested/lost!

Moti Mahal is one of the very old food branches serving North Indian food. Ambiance is given royal touch. Seating area is beautiful.
We tried:

Tomato coriander soup: By the looks it didn't look that appetizing, but it tasted great. Coriander was giving great flavor.

Fish tikka: Loved the fish tikka. Normal spicy. Fish tasted fresh.

Hariyali kebab: This was also great. Made very nicely, crispy from outside and soft from the inside, loved it.

Mutton roll: Spicy and tasty. I am not really fond of eating Mutton, but it was really good.

Paneer Tiranga tikka: It was okay.

Tandoori Chicken: Very juicy and spicy. Pieces were quite big. Loved it.

Dahi ke sholey: This was a unique dish. I never found such dish anywhere else. And it tasted great too.

Chili prawns: Taste was okay. It had no spice.

Stuffed Mushrooms: The Mushrooms were stuffed with Paneer bhurji, North Indian style. Not with cheese. And tasted pretty good.

Coming to main course:

Mutton gravy (karara meet): Really good. It was basically shredded meat in gravy.

Butter chicken: Good.

Dal makhani: Very tasty. Loved it. Recommended.

Paneer masala: Big pieces of Paneer. Gravy was also tasty spicy and thick. Good vegetarian option.

A special mention to hospitality of manager Bhaskar and the server Rupesh. :)

We went here for the dessert around 3 PM, only limited options were available, may be because of the time of the day. Nice ambience from inside, but a bit difficult to locate from outside. Service was also good. Coming to the taste, the dessert were okay compared to the prices, having said that we vl be there again for the main course.

Worst ambience and food. Never go for the Lunch Buffet..

Went there after a very long time and was happily surprised to find the same great taste... Yet not very expensive.... You must try veg starter platter.. It's amazing..Paneer awesome and dal makhani out of the world... Overall had great time and will go more often.. strongly recommended for lunch even during weekdays

Decent place. Dal makhni highly recommended. Other dishes are also good. Although very less crowded goes there. Usually looks deserted.

Nice restaurant with great ambiance, dishes were also good especially tandooris and kebabs both veg and non veg, but service was slowest, v simply had to sit and wait even though there were hardly any people. Worth visiting for it s taste and ambiance.

The food was quite good. I ordered a mutton kaalimirch for main course along with laccha paratha. The mutton was well cooked and soft and just the right amount of spices in the gravy. It's also reasonably priced.

Food is good but due to the rush and otherwise also, the service is pathetic. Prices are on the higher side.

Booked 30 for Tuesday. But food was not sufficient for us as food prepared is in very less quantity and total count including other guys are more than 70-80. Seems they did not expect more than 50 due to Tuesday which could have resulted shortage of food for many. Fully disappointed and paid for only 20 after lot of fighting.

The starters were good. But the main course was something that disappointed us. I took 60 people for lunch and everyone had the same experience. Although the staff was very courteous and professional the food lacked flavor.

I tried their tandoori dishes and biryani. Tandoori items was superb in taste.

Worst experience. Quantity and quality of food both are unsatisfactory compared to the pricing.

Booked through nearby, the buffet did not have all the items displayed. But all the items available were of good quality. They take time to serve but i's worth waiting

Good Taste for Buffet... But you feel dishes are cold

Had lunch with friends..menu is quite on expensive side but tasty.

Ambience is superb and taste of the food is not good. Overall it is ok to have here occasionally.
