As a proud parent of a (now) graduate, I strongly recommend this college for the young woman in your life. The enviornment from classroom to dorm, created for the students at Agnes Scott is, at least in part, responsible for the outstanding growth of my young adult. The school is not perfect, I can t imagine any human run organization that is. That said, if there weren t challenges in life, how would our children learn to overcome them? Having disagreements and finding resolutions is part of the process of learning to be a contributing adult and helps to develop the resiliency that adults need.

As sincere thank you to Agness Scott College.

Transformational school. the professors are incredible, the class sizes small, the financial aid generous, the President down to earth and humble. I'm a TFA kindergarten teacher now and every penny of student loans were worth it. Woot Woot! Valkyries!!!

I wouldn't recommend going to Agnes Scott College. When you go on the campus for a tour, they make the school seem better than what it is and it's not. This school has a lot of underlying issues that need to be fixed. I thought when I got to school, ALL the professors would want their students to succeed. If you get a bad professor, you're guaranteed to get a C or below in the course. I had problems with my financial aid and the financial aid office told me to "reconsider my options or drop out". The athletic department couldn't help me as their best athlete either. My advisor tried to change my major because she believed I needed to change my career from medicine to "something else". I ended up leaving ASC because the school couldn't help me with my financial aid. If your parents have money, then you will succeed in this university. If not, please reconsider a cheaper and better school.

I love my college. It is so cute, small, beautiful. Facilities are very nice. Teachers are good, classes are small so you get enough individual attention. Teachers all know you, even the building manager knows u by name. It's a great feeling of being included and remembered. Nice library, plenty of spaces for u to study at. School also try to engage students in many activities, it seems that they really care about each student.

Agnes Scott College is so much more than an institution for higher learning. The campus is stunningly beautiful, professors are top-notch, and student body is a sisterhood.
As I head back for my 10-year reunion, I smile remembering all of the Black Cat Week shenanigans. My heart swells with gratitude thinking about the women who advised, taught and supported me on my journey to design my major.
My Scottie sisters are phenomenal women because Agnes Scott sculpts phenomenal women.

When they say that the grass is greener on the other side, you should believe it...because at Agnes Scott it literally is! Never mind the fact that my alma mater boasts a $1M secret endowment that's strictly for landscaping...get back to the academics. This school has not only educated myself and my little sister, but Scotties are globally renowned for making advancements in countless fields! Annually, they are recognized for their beautiful dorms and hilarious traditions (Bonfire, anyone) but underneath it all, ASC is the nucleus of the downtown Decatur community and truly make it as charming as it is.
