I was hit by one of their insured on March 28 and cannot get in touch with my adjuster. I think I may just have to ride out there to try and see what I need to do next. At least this horrible company is close by!! My adjuster's name is Alexander St. Louis. I have called almost everyday for him and his supervisor. I haven't heard back from either!!!!

Review from a BODY SHOP OWNER that has to fix your car
Probably the worst insurance company you can have as your carrier, they will not pay us what is fair to fix your car properly and they simply dont care. Slow, unprofessional , uneducated and clueless personnel. Stay away from this company, if you carry them DROP THEM , we will not work with company, we turn down multi thousand dollars repairs because they are the insurance carrier.
NOTABLE MENTIONS to stay away from - ACCC insurance, the General , Fred loya (getting better), Geico (probably the best of the bunch)
I would give zero stars if possible. I was rear ended by someone with this insurance and it was a nightmare to get them to pay for the damages. The other driver was not a problem at all, just her insurance.
We cancelled our policy with them only to have them still take out an extra payment! Contacted them, had to argue to get them to agree to refund it, it's been two months and we haven't received anything! DO NOT USE THEM.
Had this company for a year . Was in an accident while with them . Took them 5 months to total my car out .plus i had to pay 500 because they said there was previous damage . I called them i dont know how many times . Worst insurance company i have delt with .
I have called for over a week, no one bothers to call you back. The employees are a joke, I want a job there so I can get a paycheck every week and not have to do my job. THIS IS THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY. STAY AWAY, THEY ARE CHEAP FOR A REASON!!!!!!!!!
I have to say one of the worst company to do business with. They do not send a bill in the mail and then when you call to ask when your payment it do they tell you "I'm sorry, we canceled it for non payment. You can pay a reinstatement fee and a late fee and we will be glad to help you." WHAT A SCAM. It hasn't even been 30 days since I started my policy so how can it be cancelled when it hasn't even been a month.
Has anyone been able to get these people to pay to fix their car? Has anyone been able to get a claims adjuster on the phone? Why haven't the public officials that our tax dollars pay the salaries of, not stopped these crooks? Hello Insurance commissioner do your job!
Very bad insurance no customer service what so every. They are a rip off all they do is rip your money off and when they have to do for your car no one every answers they phone and its very hard to get hold of them. they dont want to pay anything and they are getting into your personal information and scaring you buy saying they ill not work or do anything if you dont send some of your personal information they are asking for. not a good agency I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!!!!
WORST Insurance co. ever. Thanks to their claims adjuster James Wheeler I got screwed. Iv paid 2 years, never one accident and when I got rammed and made a claim, this nimwit had me upload photos to an app because they save money by not sending adjusters out. I have gouges in the metal and they send me a check for $ 50 and say " remember... its your CHOICE to get repairs done". oh.. ok..thanks DUDE. Theyll take ur monthly payment, never return your calls and never repair your damages. SCAM SCAM SCAM! BEWARE! THIS CO. IS NO GOOD!
It's defiantly one of the cheapest insurance companies out there, as a college student I don't have much to spend unfortunately. However, this company is not professional. Every month for the past year I tried calling ahead of the due date in order to avoid late fees yet one month for a week straight I called at random times between 12-4pm at least eight times a day and no one ever picked up. Another time I called and it was after another week like the one i mentioned where i was three days late and wanted to charge me a late fee. If you want to stay in bussiness, make the customer happy. I'd rather go to Geico now...
Does Google allow ZERO stars? Their customer service is absolutely horrible. I was hit by one of their insured and I had to call them every day for weeks to get their adjuster to come look at my vehicle.
Highly unprofessional. Save yourself the hassle. Open a claim with your own insurance company and have them hassle with these jokers to get the money.
This company is so slow a snail can get a paper to move faster than them like on another view I run a body shop and the same thing they come up with excuses to payup.
I own a body shop and this is the worst insurance company I've ever had to deal with. I left over 10 messages with the claim rep and his supervisor and could never get a call back. I finaly googled the company and called home office is when I finally spoke with someone but they could never help either. Spend your money else where this company does not handle business.
Worst insurance! The wait for customer service takes forever, our insurance adjuster nor his supervisor has ever picked up the phone or returned any of my voice messages. When i call the customer care to file a complaint they dont do anything about it!!!
I DID NOT KNOW THAT A COIMPANY COULD STAY IN BUSINESS WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCH AS THIS. I CONTACTED AN ATTORNEY AND FOUND THAT UNLESS THERE IS PHYSICAL INJURY "THE HAMMER" IS NOT INTERESTED AND I WAS AT THE WILL OF THE COMPANY. TOOK NEARLY 4 WEEKS TO CLOSE CLAIM AFTER A GIRL HIT ME AND THEY TOOK RESPONSIBILITY. THE ADJUSTERS WILL NOT ANSWER AND WILL NEVER CALL YOU BACK. I GOT SOME EMAIL RESPONSE....BUT IT WAS INEFFECTIVE AND POOR. I ENDED UP SETTLING TO THEIR OFFER JUST TO GET MY LIFE BACK AND THE WRECKED VEHICLE OFF THE STREET BEFORE I GOT TICKETS FROM THE CITY.

First of all, the customer service center apparently doesn't run at 2 in the afternoon. However, the automated message says Monday thru Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. Its only Thursday!!!
Second, I don't have an insurance card to get my inspection. I went to the place I had gotten it from, but they said they no longer associate with them and shouldn't be taking my money. Guess who's getting sued?
They don't even deserve this star. They should be getting none. WORST customer service ever! They never follow up with you and whenever you call your adjuster they're are always busy. They took my car and haven't sent me any checks. It's been more than 2 weeks since anyone contacted me.
This company has been a nightmare since Jan 6, 2016 (date I filed my claim) until March 5, 2016 (date they finally decided to pay auto shop for my vehicle). I'm not going to get into all the fine details of my rude & lack of communicating claim adjuster Lauren P. & her supervisor who never answered the phone & when she did she was extremely rude. Or the sorry ass estimate she sent me on my tore up vehicle because they didn't even really take the time to assess it (BTW it took them 3 1/2 weeks to do an estimate) only to send an email & say "sorry we can't pay, due to the estimate being lower than your deductible"
So we take our vehicle to another auto shop for a 2nd opinion & quote & of course it was significant damages... Anyway they sent in a supplement so they could started on the work..affirmative agreed to pay it....our vehicle was ready for us to pick it up on 3/3/16.. Auto shop calls us says Affirmative hasn't paid us..your claim adjuster's phone has a "Bankruptcy message, saying their Bankruptcy went I to effect 3/1/2016" we called & it said the same thing...Customer service line just rings,you with not get a person.... We Googled ..& yes the company filed Bankruptcy 10/2015...
Luckily by the grace of god, I googled "Affirmative Insurance bankrupt" & I clicked a link that gave me the number to their law firm (omni) handling their bankruptcy case" spoke to someone after being passed around several times & the auto shop called us 3/5/16 & said they received payment & to come pick up our vehicle.. I hope this info helps some of you. But please Google "affirmative insurance bankrupt" & you will get some numbers to call for help. They almost tried to get over on us & we almost got an attorney... (Yes we are looking for new auto insurance too, you all should do the same asap)
