Affinity Group, Inc. Review

DO NOT RENT OR HIRE THIS COMPANY. This company is a joke and consists literally of two people, which would be fine if they would still uphold a good quality and standard of work and professionalism. Tim is by far the more professional of the two but Kendra is a nightmare. She is very unprofessional and extremely rude and confrontational. They do not have a maintenance employee but however have "vendors" which are their friends and since they are "vendors" they will never be able to let you know where they are or why they are running hours (or one time 2 days) late. Maintenance requests are a total hassle, the quality of work is extremely poor when these vendors do so up and since they are friends you can not complain because then Kendra will just be even ruder to you and come lease renewal time they will retaliate and hike up your rent and upon move out, they keep ALL of your deposit . My advice is do not rent from this company and if you do then be warned and make sure you document EVERYTHING. If you are a homeowner, these are slum lords who will run your property into the ground, so find a good company that will treat you and your tenants right.

We've been so grateful to have found our place with Affinity. Kendra has been absolutely wonderful, accommodating and patient. She has done an amazing job explaining everything so it's easy for us to understand and doesn't make us feel stupid for asking lots of questions.
She is always there for us if anything comes up (which is rare). She's personable, kind and understanding. It's nice to finally have a management company who doesn't just view you as a check in the mail and that ACTUALLY cares for those who live here. We feel very lucky.

My wife and I had a pleasant experience with this company. Kendra gives you her cellphone information, and will explore every possible option to help meet your needs.

They were understanding when there were problems with our rent payment, never assuming anything. Repairs were done quickly and to our liking.

I highly recommend you rent from here. Kendra and Todd don't view you as an anonymous contract, they view you as friends

Hard to give a review since I've called and e-mailed and gotten no response. If I were a an owner, this would give reason for a little concern

Property Manager Tim Benintendi failed to issue a resident parking tag, despite various requests over last 3+ years. Yesterday I had to pay $225 to Towing Company because one of the vehicle parked at Walnut Grove Condominiums was lacking the parking tag. If the manager of HOA would have issued a parking permit, then I would not have to pay a fine of $225. I have paid my monthly dues ever since totally $8550 to date, yet I am being denied the parking permit tag which I am entitled to.

I rented from Affinity for about 7 years and it was because Kendra was such a great manager. I'd rent again in a heartbeat.

I've lived in a property managed by Affinity Group for over four years and have had a completely opposite experience from the Sarah V's review. Affinity's response time to any of my maintenance needs has been same day or next day service. I had a heater that recently stopped working and within an hour of calling it in to Affinity, an electrician was at my door and fixed my problem. As for the professionalism, Tim and Kendra are the easiest to work with. I have Kendra's cell number and if I have an issue, she is available almost 24/7. Otherwise, I call the call desk and they contact her. Tim has been in property management for over 30 years. Tim and Kendra have worked together for over 12 years. I was hesitant to rent, since I hadn't for 25 years, but the experience with Tim and Kendra has been a pleasure.
