Staples center is definitely a premium destination in downtown LA. I recommend it as it offers great sports and concert experiences. I must advice to make your way with time to find good parking and to beat traffic. Also, be aware that the surrounding areas can be a bit dangerous. I've seen multiple people get mugged as they walk away from the stadium.

Bittersweet review. This review is for last February. I was one of the lucky chosen few to score tickets to the memorial of one of my childhood idols, Kobe Bryant. So some friends and I made the drive down from the Bay Area to pay homage.

Walking up to STAPLES was a sight to behold. STAPLES and the surrounding areas were all blocked off from the public. There were police and security everywhere, several metal detectors, and they checked our tickets several times. No one who wasn't supposed to be there was getting in for sure! All the while, the media was everywhere, and there were a lot of helicopters above the arena.

On to the memorial. The mood was electric, but somber, if that makes sense. We were each given a pin, t-shirt, and program as we walked in. The speaker list was kept secret, so we didn't know what to expect. It started off with some videos of Kobe and Gianna, and the tears already started to form. We went on to hear from Vanessa Bryant, Shaq, and others. My personal favorite speech was from Michael Jordan. And as far as Vanessa goes, she delivered an amazing eulogy, and it was remarkable that she was able to keep it together.

All in all, this was an amazing event that went off without a hitch. The planning and organization was impeccable. I feel so fortunate to have won tickets, and this was an event that I'll remember for the rest of my life.

Even in the nose bleeds, I felt as though I was "pushed" into the action. Easy to find tickets to the Kings game, and below average prices for what I was expecting to pay. Sub-par beer selection, but good food options, and slightly above average concession prices. History of center well displayed.

I have been to a lot of games here, the amenities and food are gray. I always have a great time regardless if my team wins or loses. Parking can be really tough and I really recommend public transportation

Great venue, nice ticketing process and entryway, also good crowd control. Seats for the concert had great stage views and the acoustics are fantastic. All kinds of shops, restaurants and things to do here. Come early hang out and enjoy the scenery and shopping!!

For basketball games, I think the best value tickets are section 103, 109, 113, 118. You ll be sitting at the end of the sideline still close enough to the action regardless of how far up you are in the section. Worst seats in the house are any of the seats in the 200 or 300 section behind the baskets. Even in the 100 sections along the baseline, if you are too many rows up you can t really see what s going on. I d rather watch the game on TV at that point.

Outstanding service for people who need accesible seating. We had a lerson in our party on crutches and they bought a wheelchair to the parking garage and took us to our seats...fabulous service and came and took her back after concert.

A+, love the experience, the noise the people. Food is ok, not great. Drink variety is decent. I have been here for X-games, Disney on Ice, LA Kings, Sparks and Clippers games, I've loved it every time.

Yes, Staples center is a very cool, nice looking building. But, it's in LA, so the traffic sucks, the parking is awful, everything is overpriced, the entrances are not marked very well as far as which one you should use with your specific ticket, & all the surrounding restaurants have super long waits. Locals may know some secrets to ease the stress, but I really have to want to attend an event bad to visit here. Not only that, but for some reason our event was running late... no one was able to enter until after the scheduled start time, & once we were in, the concessions were open, but we still couldn't go to our seats for some reason! There were basically thousands of people standing around in a tight crowd with their food, with nowhere to go. This home of the once-great Lakers leaves a lot to be desired...

Worst sound of a venue in LA. A soulless mound of concrete. With the Forum open again for concerts we can only hope artists who respect their music and fans avoid staples.

Most recently I saw The Who here and again, sound bouncing off the walls, angles and view of the stage just crummy.

Great facility. Sat in VIP seats. Food was not quite as good as the options in the suites obviously, but I certainly expected better. As for the facility itself, I love it. I've watched the Clippers, Lakers, Kings, and other events. Always satisfied.

Went for a clippers game. Nice enough arena. We had really good seats, center court, about 8 rows off the floor, so we could see everything well. The food options were disappointing however.

Staples Center!! Ahh where I go to watch Lakers & Clippers play. It's LA sports home! Whooo can't hate on it :)

This venue is pretty awesome overall. The security is chill and the inside feels decent. I don't like to deal with parking so I uber here. Also the surrounding LA Live area is pretty nice. I like grabbing a drink afterwards and jut chilling.

This js home of lakers, clippers, and kings. Plus it often use for popular music concert and other entertainment shows. This is a very popular venue and I can see why.

Parking is expensive inside, there's pretty of parking nearby. So I suggest go find them first. There's good amount of security here and is the layout make easy to find your section. Food section is kinda weak and pricey as you expected.
