Absolutely the best contractor we have ever worked with. We have used Advantage several times for both small and large jobs including a complete kitchen and bath renovation. Always top quality work done on schedule. Dependable, professional, and great to work with. Rich and his team are amazing.

We had our bathroom redone, some windows replaced and some outside trim work done. They did a phenomenal job. The bathroom came out beautiful (every detail was perfect), as well as the other work. Once they start the job they are there every morning for the whole day until the job is finished. Also, if you have any issues at all, they will come back until you are completely satisfied. I cannot recommend them enough. You cannot go wrong with them.

Too good to be asked about smaller projects. I called and was just about laughed at because it s a waste of time to send anyone to check , I see they do good work but due to terrible customer service I won t be finding out.

My parents have used Advantage for many projects at their home in Wayne. They have always complimented Rich and his staff over the years. So when I had a flood, advantage was my first call. Rich did not disappoint, he was by far the most professional and knowledgeable contractor we met with. He was able to diagnose issues before they happened because of his years of experience. We had a great previous experience with Advantage Contracting for our roof fascia repair. So when we had a ceiling repair job as a result of an unleveled air handler in the attic we decided to call Advantage for this job too. From the quote to the completion of the job, Advantage Contracting was always punctual, professional and communicative. Their price quoted for the job was also very transparent and reasonable. The work Jack did with the ceiling repair was high quality along with the added bonus of him caring about the cleanliness of our house afterwards by vacuuming and Swiffering our floors both days he was here. The finishes and painting done by Dennis were meticulous and superb as well. The end result of all of Advantage Contracting fine work was a ceiling where you d never know anything was damaged or replaced at all. Thanks Advantage and for the piece of mind knowing who to call for any future jobs in our home.

Having seen the Advantage truck around my neighborhood, I assumed the company was well regarded. So, my husband and I challenged Rich and the Advantage team with a difficult assignment: the removal and re-application of a fiberglass floor for a cantilevered balcony. Not only was Rich punctual for our initial appointment he kept me well informed throughout the entire planning and implementation process. His crew was skilled, organized, and neat - all of which was much appreciated. Not only have I referred Rich to family and friends, but I would use his company again!

Advantage renovated one floor of my home from July to August 2018, including a bathroom gut renovation, new lighting and switches / outlets, new doors and hardware, new molding / casing, fireplace replacement, and paint for a family room and two bedrooms plus closets, hallway, and stairwell.

The reasons I chose Advantage include their ideas, that they come every day until the job is done, the high quality of work they perform, that they have an office where I could plan my job before the start, and because they are a professionally run and reliable company. I was also able to buy my bathroom cabinets through Advantage (their office also has a showroom).

Rich, the owner, came to my home to assess the project and provide an estimate, along with great ideas on how to accomplish my renovation objectives. Advantage gave me a firm price for the job, and the only increases were for work I added to the original estimate. Also, they were transparent on any questions I had regarding pricing details and what I was being charged for.

After I decided to go with Advantage, Bill from Advantage as well as Kevin, the electrician, visited my home to further assess the project and to help me decide on what I wanted in advance of the project start. Rebecca met me at their showroom for several weeks on Saturdays to plan my project. Pat and Ricardo were the dedicated team of Advantage employees who came to my home every weekday to execute the work. They did a tremendous job and worked incredibly hard to keep the project on schedule. Pat s project management ability and technical skill set are truly amazing - there was nothing he couldn t install, modify, or repair in a proper and durable manner. They also worked well with my fireplace installer who asked Advantage to remove the old fireplace unit and frame out the new one to facilitate the installation. And Bill kept close watch each day on every aspect of the job to ensure my complete satisfaction, making many suggestions along the way to provide the result I was looking to achieve. During the project they were able to accommodate unplanned work by quickly pricing it out for my approval, and then accomplishing it. I would also add that the electrician Kevin had great design and product ideas, and his team did a tremendous job installing the new lighting and electric.

Whenever there was a matter I raised with Advantage, they would ensure it was promptly and completely addressed to my satisfaction. And after the job was completed, Advantage provided me with a comprehensive written warranty.

Advantage also applied for permits and scheduled inspections for the work they did. And they referred me to a stone cutter where I was able to select stone for my bathroom and fireplace to be custom cut for my project.

In the 6+ months following the renovation, the work has performed consistent with my renovation goals. Given my experience with Advantage, I look forward to working with them in the near future on my next phase of my renovation.

Advantage Contracting and Rich Graniere are the most professional business I have ever dealt with. He did a work at my house and the quality was outstanding . They were there when they said they would be and gave me a great price.

We recently hired Rich and Advantage Contracting to build a new covered patio in our backyard. Not only did Rich meet the expectations set by others in our neighborhood who had worked with him in the past, but he also went above and beyond to exceed them. Rich treated us like family through the entire project. From the design phase, to the construction, and even after the project was completed, Rich was responsive, attentive, and thorough. Rich, and everyone at Advantage Contracting, gave us insightful advice and they all did a great job of really listening to what we wanted. Ultimately, the project turned out better than we ever imagined. We truly could not have been happier with the the entire process. Extremely Pleased!

I had a 21" wide double wall oven (from 1959) in a solid brick wall. Of course, 21" wide ovens are no longer manufactured--hence, my dilemma.

At least 3 different contractors reviewed my problem, and they all said the rough opening could not be expanded to fit today's ovens. I decided to try Advantage based upon their local reputation and their expertise renovating kitchens in my area (which is loaded with 1950's homes).

I have a very little flexibility with my schedule. Project Manager Bill was able to come over at a time convenient to me...in fact he showed up a few minutes early. He carefully assessed my problem, and also was not optimistic the job could be done, BUT...rather than just wishing me good luck with my project, he had their mason come over to further assess the problem. Together, they determined the job could be done to my satisfaction!

Bill provided me with a written estimate and referred me to a contact at a local appliance store, who was amazing. I decided I should also replace my vintage dishwasher (to match my new oven), which also needed additional work to install due to the old plumbing. Bill was able to add the dishwasher to the oven project with short notice.

Bill coordinated with the mason, electrician, and plumber to get all the work done in the only two days I had available in my schedule. Communication was superb. They showed up on time and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. There was the potential for some additional expenses, but the team was able to complete the work without incurring those costs. They took great care to minimize any mess and did a decent job cleaning up after the job.

Overall, I found Advantage Contracting to be competent, affordable, and professional. I am extremely pleased with the work they did and plan to use their services again!

The guys demo'd the current setup, built a blank canvas to develop in to, and we watched the project evolve and come to life over 4 weeks.

The team was always professional and very courteous of our comfort (especially considering an ongoing pandemic).

We hired Rich and his amazing team (Advantage Contracting) last summer to do a major renovation on a fixer-upper that had been occupied by renters for 2 decades. We needed to redo the kitchen, all bathrooms, and laundry room, replace the 1st floor flooring with new hardwood, replace 75% of the windows, redo the fireplace, open up some walls, and do some minor repairs along the way. They were a dream to work with! They were incredibly responsive to our texts and emails and their team was very respectful and cleaned up after themselves. They are transparent about costs throughout the entire process so as to maintain that you stay within budget. They take pride in their work and aren't happy unless you're happy. I would gladly use them again. If you have a project to do, big or small, do not hesitate to call on Rich and his team.

From the beginning to end of our kitchen renovation, Rich and his team were amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive and the timing of the project was right on point. The design that was created is just what we needed and we love it! Advantage was excellent and we would highly recommended them.

Installed a brand new railing, ripped out our old iron one. They were clean, efficient, and did and great job! It totally transformed our space !

I can't comment on the quality of their work because sadly they never called me back with an estimate. I had an appraiser come out to look at work that I wanted done and was told I would have an estimate in a few days. After not hearing anything I called and left a message asking for my estimate but never received a call back. I understand the work I wanted done was not a big job but that is no reason to ignore a potential customer. They may do good work but they have absolutely no customer service.

Without question, I would highly recommend Advantage Comtracting. We contacted nine contractors before deciding on Advantage. Their price was competitive and they were by far the most responsive as far as submitting an estimate and answering all questions. This attentiveness remained throughout the entire project. We had the kitchen and family room redone. They began the job as scheduled, did high quality work, were an absolute pleasure to work with and finished on time. As promised, they worked every day from start to finish.

When you have people in your home for eight weeks and at the end of the project have as much or more respect for them as when they started ...I believe that speak volumes.

My husband and I have never had anything in our home remodeled, but our bathrooms were out of date and in serious need of an upgrade. From start to finish Advantage helped us remodel both of our bathrooms. We had no idea what to pick out, what to go with but their designer helped us greatly! We highly recommend using Advantage. Both the staff and construction professionals couldn't have been nicer. They paid attention to every detail and did such a professional job. The entire job took as long as they said it would. I've heard horror stories from people who were told their jobs would take 4 weeks but ended up taking 4 months as one example. We thank you Advantage for being so great. I've posted some photos and where you see a tall closet, that was where our old stall shower was. This closet has multiple shelves and the storage is abundant! We LOVE our new bathrooms, thank you ADVANTAGE!

I spoke with you when we set up the appointment for your representative to come out to my house at 3:30 p.m. on June 30th "on her way home." She actually met with both me and my husband. I spoke with her again on July 10th when I had yet to receive an estimate or phone call, and I was told that she would speak with you and get back to me with an estimate by the end of the day. I obviously never got that phone call, or I wouldn't have posted the review. Maybe you should check with her to refresh your memory. My sincerest apologies if I am confusing your company with another Advantage Contracting with the same phone number at the same address.

Thanks for the estimate! Just kidding, of course, because I never heard back from them (despite being assured that I would have an estimate by the end of the day). So much for the good reviews! I have absolutely no idea about the quality of their work, nor would I care to find out at this point.

I hired Advantage Contracting on short notice to finish a loft space in my new house. They started work immediately and got it done in record time. Rich's team is professional, clean, and friendly, Rich visits the job site regularly, they did great work and we are thrilled with the space. I highly recommend.

Advantage lives up to its name. They were far an above the best all around. They really put your interests first and never over promise. I look forward to using them again in the future. Rich and his team have the personal touch that is essential to a successful business and I was so impressed with the quality of work they did on my home.

We've worked with Rich's team at Advantage three times over the past two years, first for a major renovation on about 70% of our home, including a complete open concept remodel of our kitchen, master bedroom, master bath, family room and the addition of a new bedroom. Second time for a new, larger deck, and third time for a remodel our second full bath. Couldn't ask for a nicer, more professional, skilled and trustworthy crew!

Advantage was mid- to high-range in pricing compared to the five other quotes we received, but we liked that there is a designer on the team and we had a good gut feeling about Rich. In hindsight, I'm positive the quality surpasses what we would have seen from the others. I believe Rich provided an honest quote up front so we wouldn't be surprised down the road with hidden costs. On top of that, they handled any issue that popped up (air conditioner needed replacing once they started looking at the duct work, weird placement of duct work in a wall they knocked down, need for replacement of a lot of crappy plumbing, etc.) like a pro and kept the costs in check.

The first time we hired Advantage included knocking down two walls, completely shifting kitchen, custom cabinetry, doubling the size of our bathroom, a huge walk-in shower, new oak flooring throughout upstairs and new wood-look tile flooring downstairs, new stair railing, new french doors in family room, moving windows and much more. They did an amazing job - from design (thanks, Rebecca!) through to execution and finishing touches. They kept us updated throughout the process, and were more than happy to come back and do some touch-ups as needed. They were incredibly clean and super nice about our very loud beagles who barked incessantly for the 8 weeks they were on site.

The Trex deck was also a great experience - finished in a week and looks amazing. We had one issue a year later and Rich is taking care of it with absolutely no issue.

The bathroom remodel turned out great - complete gut of original, removal of tub, installation of amazing walk in shower and custom cabinetry. Steve (who did our master bath remodel two years earlier) and Chris did an amazing job.

I'm literally looking for more work so I can hire them again.

Rich and his team from Advantage recently worked on our new roof. Rich was one of the most professional contractors we have worked with. He was timely, responsive and transparent throughout the process. They did beautiful work and everything was finished in a very timely manner. I would recommend Rich and Advantage for any job, big or small!

We would highly recommend Advantage and would use them again for future projects. We did a remodel of our master suite including enlarging/fully remodeling the master bath. Rich, Bill, Pat and Rebecca were all great to work with and made the entire process easy/seamless. Communication was always very easy/prompt, everything was very transparent, and the team always went out of the way to make sure we were happy with each stage of the process or check in with us on any questions/resolve any issues. Pat was very knowledgeable, offered helpful suggestions, and worked hard to finish our project on schedule in time for our closet designer s install. The team arrived on time every day and worked around or schedule whenever needed. We are very happy with the finished work our bathroom is now nicer than most hotels we stay in!

We highly recommend Advantage Contracting for home improvement services! Rich and his crew were very courteous and provided a detailed explanation of the work to be done. We had a new Timberline roof placed with a 30 year warranty and are very happy especially with the winter approaching that we had a quality contractor do the work.

My husband and I brought on Advantage Contracting to gut renovate our kitchen in the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy. Obviously, this timing put an extra level of pressure on the project! We began the process early in the new year and got bids from 5 different contractors. Advantage was by far the most comprehensive bid and made it possible for us to really understand the scope of the project and what we would be responsible for. Many of the other bids seemed too good to be true, and when compared to Advantage s well-broken-out bid we saw that much on the others was excluded making the bids not comparable. We felt so confident going into our project with Advantage and they absolutely did not disappoint. Other bidders told us no problem we ll definitely be done before you re due! But Advantage was honest that a 7 week timeline might be necessary, but that they would do everything in their power to keep the project moving as quickly as possible, knowing we were on a time crunch. The permitting process took a month and it was handled by Advantage. Once permits were in place, they were here every day, moving so fast through the project and keeping us updated on progress and getting our feedback along the way. When small discrepancies came up they were remedied immediately and carefully. The kitchen came out more perfect than we could have imagined, and was finished early (and ahead of baby s arrival, thankfully!) We can t thank enough owner Rich, project manager Bill, design consultant Rebecca, and crew - particularly Dennis, Cesar and Chris, who were all so professional, above and beyond helpful, and truly did such an amazing job for us. We will absolutely be enlisting their services again for our master bathroom reno later this year. If you re planning a project, choose Advantage, no question!

Let me start by saying that I have been dealing with Rich and his team almost daily for the past 5 months . We did a fairly large addition ( master bedroom, bathroom, walk in closets and additional attic space )As well as an entire exterior makeover. I can honestly say that Advantage Contracting is an absolute pleasure to work with. I am very picky and a little OCD and Rich and his team handled every issue and concern immediately and beyond professionally .They are constantly in contact and every time I texted or called I had a reply within minutes. Nothing goes unaddressed . This is an absolute gem of a company, and I would never consider doing any work without Rich and the entire Advantage team leading the way !

There was nothing I DIDN'T like about this business. From the first meeting with Rich, I had a good feeling about working with the Advantage team. The contract was specific, the project started and ended on schedule, and Frank and Tim (among others such as the electrician, plumber, and painter) were at the top of their game. I am in awe of their craftsmanship. They also treated my home-and dog!- with the utmost respect.

I used Advantage Contracting for two projects: (day 1) replace my front entryway with a Therma-Tru Doors entryway with a Reeb Finish and (day 2) repair my front steps. The staff from Advantage Contracting arrive when they say they will and perform an evaluation of the project to provide a detailed scope of work with a competitive quote. When they arrive at the worksite to begin work, they describe what they are going to do, perform topnotch workmanship, inspect the work with you after they are finished, and lastly clean up the worksite after they are finished. I would definitely use Advantage Contracting for my future projects.

We had bought a house with a damaged chimney and used a certain contractor that ended up making the problem worse. We were very upset and the only solution was to rebuild the entire brick chimney. After getting in touch with Rich and Advantage contracting they calmed us down and immediately got the crew out to complete the demolition and building the new chimney. It was a big job and I was very impressed they left the area very clean and nothing was damaged while they took down a 3 story brick chimney. The new chimney is beautiful and the looks adds tremendous value to the house and the price was very fair. Thank You Rich and Advantage!!

We have dealt with multiple contractors and quite a bit of home renovation in the last ten years, but we have never had an experience this positive. Advantage has truly restored our faith in humanity! Their integrity, skill, and work ethic are beyond anything we have ever encountered before. We have a small home and every bit of space must be maximized. We are seniors and needed our space to be safe and accessible. We also wanted it to be beautiful. We were actually shocked when they started, to have them show up continuously, day after day, and put in full days of work. In the past we have had contractors start the project and then start coming two days a week, prolonging the agony for the homeowner. There was none of this with Advantage. Their men were so respectful of our home and went to great measures to protect our home from the construction dust getting into the rest of the house. There was communication all along the process. My husband is tall and I am short, and we were called in to the bathroom to try shower fixtures, seat, grab bar, and hand held hooks out to be sure they were all at comfortable levels for both of us. They thought of many things that we had overlooked. When they were done, the results were so gorgeous that our neighbor immediately called Advantage for an estimate on a bathroom renovation. This is the best renovation experience we have ever had and we enthusiastically recommend them!

We had used Advantage to install new flooring in our home. The owner Rich worked with us through the process to find the right style and color to fit the house. Rich and his team did an absolutely amazing job renovating our preschool - fast, efficient, helpful and the quality of their work speaks for itself.
