We came in to get a newer used SUV and worked with Shon. I've worked with Shon over the past decade, so I knew this would be easy. Instead of just showing us a newer "used" car, he found a NEW 2018 SUV, loaded with rebates and full warranty, for less than used (gotta love end of year rebates). Finance was able to get us a much lower rate than we had expected - and we were in and out in less than 2 hours. Grocery shopping can take longer than that! Thanks Shon for another great experience, and i'l be back in a year to trade in the Mercedes.
I dont like bait and switch. Went in today for an oil change, had a coupon for 54.99 for 5 quarts full synthetic, I knew it would cost about $7 more because my jeep takes 6 quarts. From the beginning the guy kept telling me its $10 off, even though the coupon said $54.99. He said he had to call and order the oil, and while he was on the phone he told me the oil was going to cost $60. Plus $8 for a filter, plus labor. So, I again referenced his coupon,and he said it's only for $10 off. I asked him to show me where it said $10 off. He said it doesnt, but that's the intent.so I choose to leave.if your go in ng to send out a coupon to get return business, then honor it.
Bryce Gaskill and Connor Rob were wonderful to work with. They answered all of my wife's questions, and Advantage Nissan just felt "right" according to my wife. They turned what can be a difficult process into a great experience for us.
My wife stopped in just to check out the inventory on the lot after work, and after speaking with a Connor Rob about the types of features she was looking for in a car, she fell in love with the second car that he showed her. We are now the proud owners of a loaded, beautiful, low mileage 2015 Ford Taurus, that has all the options she was looking for and more! I have had my 1996 Nissan Maxima regularly serviced at Advantage Nissan since 2001. With 146,500 miles on the car the only unscheduled corrective maintenance that I have had to do on the car was a starter motor replacement. This car just keeps going and going...that's a tribute to a great car, dealership and maintenace team.
The shop told my wife and I that the battery in the car was dead beyond recharging. It was not but they still charged us to replace it plus labor. Also, we were told that the cam position sensor, not the failing catalytic converter that you can smell from the exhaust, was the cause for the CEL; after charging us the labor for diagnosis and replacement with a new sensor, the CEL is still on. Then they told us that the radio was dead and needed to be replaced after charging us labor to diagnose that as well. However, after 15 minutes of googling, driving, and a $2 fuse later, the "dead" radio magically works again. I'm pretty disappointed with a company that so blatantly tries to gouge customers. I will not be bringing my car to this store again after being charged nearly $500 to essentially replace the fuse on the battery. They fixed no other issues but instead tried to create some imaginary ones and charge us for those too.
Our experience with the Advantage was great. Barry from the used car section was really easy to work with, no pressure, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and helped us find a great car. The rest of the staff followed suit. If you visit the West Hills Auto Center, I would highly recommend checking them out.
I never bought a Nissan or been to advantage Nissan but the review about Derek Foster treating everyone with color amazingly inspired me to write this review. I know some friends that have done business with advantage Nissan and I did some research on their manager Derek and the gentleman seems more legit than we know. What he does for his community I heard makes what he does at Nissan look like a part time job. Even heard that he was at a fund raiser at the Marvin Williams center where he spent almost an hour cheering up an elder black lady that was behind on her rent even paying her rent: All people of color need to spend their money at Advantage Nissan.
My wife and I recently leased 2 Nissan Leafs from Advantage Nissan and had a great experience. This was the 3rd and 4th car we have purchased/leased from them. Adam and Hannah Green "The Green Team" were outstanding. Great customer service, extremely knowledgeable about the Leaf, did not push the sale, spent a lot of time with us explaining the details of the lease, and we had a few laughs....
Seriously, ask for Adam when you go in, you won't be disappointed.
I happen to find Advantage Nissan by accident on a Sunday December 30. I was surprised they were open. I walked in and I was not swarmed by sales people and that was very refreshing. I looked around and then I was approached as I was looking lost at that point. I was introduced to Shon aka Pineapple. We hit it off immediately. He asked how he could help me and I went on to discuss a Nissan KICKS. I knew what I wanted but hadn't driven one yet. And off we go on a test drive, then we test drove a Rogue. Surprisingly I did not like the Rogue and the Kicks was the wrong color. The next day Dec 31st New years eve, Shon called and said they Found one, I brought 2 others with me, my stepdad and a best girlfriend. Sales man Shon the handsome Hawaiian "Pineapple" shook everyone's hand, we chatted, laughed discussed the car and he sent me into a room where I met another Handsome man named Derek with amazingly white teeth and blue eyes. How much better can this be I asked my girl friend that I had with me. We sat down, looked at pictures, went over price and my trade in, made absolutely sure the Nissan Kicks SR had everything I wanted and more. As Derek and I went over papers and such, Brad, the Finance Guy briefly came in for a question he needed, as he was finishing up another deal. We then teased Brad from afar. Now to Shorten this story, We Closed the Business Down, on Dec 31st, We had many laughs, Shon, Derek and Brad made this a superb experience. I got my car Jan 2nd, it is everything that was promised. I would highly recommend these guys. Go in with a good attitude, Look around, ask questions, have fun, be serious, have more fun, do your deal, have more fun, laugh until your cheeks hurt, shake hands and enjoy your new ride.

They're expensive, even as mechanics go. The only reason I get work done here is out of loyalty to a friend of the family who works there. But they stopped letting him work on my car so they can get someone else who'll magically find other problems to upsell me (including "issues" I know don't need work, because I've recently worked on them myself). Caveat emptor. Know your stuff, and be strict when dealing with them, and you can still get good work out of them in a pinch.
Shon came out to help me and my family a few minutes after we started looking at cars. He was very kind and helpful. The entire experience there went smoothly and I never felt like anyone was trying to cheat me which has happened at other dealerships. I will purchase in the next 2 months and I recommend Shon to all my friends and family members.

If you guys have a Nissan do not take it to these guys! took my nissan GTR to them And huge mistake. Only two guys are allowed to drive GTR's at this dealership which they are the GTR tech and the manager. The tech said he did not drive it on the lift and said the manager did. But manger won't fess up
The owner said I would have to take him to court to get paid and he told me he already contacted his lawyers. Told me there's not enough evidence but look at the pictures how is there not?
People need to know when it comes to damages at this dealership they will not own up and pay for damages. If I knew how they are i would never take my GTR to them. So I'm trying to make it known.

I bought 3 vans from James, JW. He saw us through all the way from the roadside to selecting options for the vans. When we were not approved for credit he saved the sale of the 3rd van which decision was up to my wife by allowing her just enough space to make it her own decision.
I am so grateful for the service I received in purchasing a used vehicle. Barry Albee is the man to go to if you want NO PRESSURE, HONESTY and VALUE. I am a pretty rough bargain hunter and he was able to find us the best vehicle for our budget even after hours of visiting private owners off craigslist. I really thought since we had cash, we would find a "better deal" through a private owner. However, we did not and buying from Advantage had more security. Especially buying from Barry Albee because I trust that he is a great guy who would not sell us something that had a lot of problems. I would recommend buying from him and next time, I will save my time and just buy from him first instead of wasting a whole bunch of time searching.
I initially had a bad experience with their service department. Russell (service manager) reached out personally and went the extra mile to correct the issue. He made sure we were satisfied with the care we received. Great customer service. He turned my 1 star review into a 5 star!

My oil change was taking a long time, the sales person I bought the car from (Shon Otwell) stood up and in a Superman type fashion changed into a mechanics uniform, proceeded to do back flips into the shop and performed the oil change himself perfectly and under 5 mins. This mans amazing. He has a future in vehicle maintenance if the car selling thing doesnt work out.

I had a great experience working with Shon + the rest of the crew here the past couple days! I don't have much experience buying vehicles, but saw a van on their website that I had been thinking about purchasing, and decided to take the plunge with a walk in. The staff was courteous and quick to get me in for a test drive. Shon was incredibly helpful and informative with specifications on the van in question, and incredibly patient with me while getting my paperwork put together. I came back today to tie up some loose ends, and they were awesome enough to pick me up and drop me off at the ferry dock. I can't recommend them enough.

He took time to go over options and then took a considerable amount of time going over the vehicle operation when I picked the car up. Ed in finance was very helpful. I take my car here to get the oil changed. The service people have always been helpful and courteous, even though I usually have a toddler with me. There is a coffee and donuts on Saturdays. Sales staff is always nice especially the pineapple shon. He always greets me and I told him when I'm ready, I will purchase my next new nissan from him. Very pleasant.
Bryce was great and truly took care of us to the best of his ability however we felt very mistreated and fibbed to by the financial team.. We were asked to sign mountains of paper work for different sets of agreements . given the keys and switched our belongings to a new vehicle and caught seconds from driving away to be told something didnt work after all after 7 hrs in the building being told they were making it right and. Admitting to thier first mistake. over and over we had to switch back to the car we were trading in and drive home not only with same vehicle but with no compensation to make it right. Oh and did i mention? We came in for service on old vehicle with no intention of trading in this is all with being approached and talked to and tempted while waiting for service . i am going to be hard pressed to do any business or convince anyone to do any here again. And this is also after being a custoner for 8 years and getting our service here that long as well. No loyalty. Not even the respect of making thier own mistakes right. We left here feeling humiliated and mistreated and used.
