The Adlon is definitely a nice, well maintained hotel. However, the hotel lives from the reputation of earlier times ... Many rooms, especially in the lower price segment, absolutely need a renovation. Especially the showers are very small and uncomfortable.

Quality, luxury, comfort, pleasure .... Delicious meals, perfect service. Ideal and privileged location.

I have never been inside, but from outside it has already earned the 5 stars!

An experience We had come to Berlin to eat the Germany-wide known Adlon doner (at least we had that on the plan). Super crosses rolls, tender meat and a unique spice component make this kebab a taste experience. Actually no kebab anymore, but an eagle. By the way, you can eat the kebab there with your hands as well. The staff was outstanding - very courteous and friendly. All in all, worth the event, can only recommend it.

Excellent trained staff, very good concierge service, clean and comfortable rooms, great atmosphere with piano in lobby. High security standards which I felt by beeing asked again for ID during check in process during shift change. Only for some german guests I felt ashamed. Unfortunatelly you can not train that by the hotel, because you get it taught at home, or not.

I was accompanied by my aunt, who is traveling with Rollator. Everything is handicapped fair, the service super nice, friendly and pleasant: Starting with the support when parking the vehicle, so you can get in and out well with rollator, friendly, helpful staff, the service gladly offers, the pies = a poem what taste , Quality and optics. Even the piano player who played in the background on the Steinway has delivered his contribution to the beautiful ambience. My aunt - and with 88 years you know what you like - was very happy about the nice afternoon.

That evening we were in the Adlon Bar - Lobby. Unfortunately the service was not interested in new customers. The employee offered us space - great - 2-seater sofa for 3 people. It was only after we asked for a chair that the chair took him there. Our order was mixed up twice. It made a very bad impression on us.
The toilets aren't that visible - the description isn't that visible. Bellboy's reaction was very unkind when the toilet was searched. We were told "TOILET IS NOT HERE". We wanted to book the night directly and stay in Berlin, but after this situation we decided to stay in other hotels.

Can you treat yourself to a city trip with a luxury factor?

Elegant hotel with a unique / special flair. Especially nice was the Sunday brunch (with live music). A cocktail at the elephant fountain and "people watching" is highly recommended.

friendly place with friendly people , best hotel in europe

Have spent my 50th birthday there and put a lunch there. Both ambience food and service was exemplary. I'd like to come back .

The closest hotel with Brandenburg Gate. Historical Hotel. First choice for every single leader/President/Prime Minister when visit in Berlin

They had birthday balloons, cake, and other things for me. Treated me really nice and gave me a card! Hotel itself is beautiful and two nice restaurants . Right in the center of berlin aswell so very accessible .

Very good location and top notch service. I had the Kaiser cup at the bar and it was delicious. The lobby is a great spot to people watch.

We were allowed to spend 2 nights here for the 18th birthday of my daughter. It was very nice here. The staff was super friendly and for birthday there was a cake from the hotel. The breakfast is perfect. We will be back.

The intercontinental breakfast at the Hotel Adlon is catastrophic: there are no locally grown organic products, they only offer San Pellegrino in plastic bottles + they have no gluten-free spelled buns.

Unfortunately, I can't judge that, but when strolling through the Brandenburg Gate you can't miss the Adlon and since we've only been guests at the nearby Marriott at Potsdamer Platz, I felt like "Adlon". So I have children who are a little alive. And they had reservations: Papa, that's too boring for us, they said. It looks so dark.
Nevertheless, I was allowed to assert myself and we slept and had breakfast there one night.
So: (for adults) - impressively chic. Traditionally. Demanding, sophisticated. higher breakfast quality. For children this is rather nothing, because around us there were mostly people who thought they were significant and important. But that's what the Adlon speaks to. It would be nicer if there was a wide green area around the Adlon with trees, bushes and a small pond, then it would be even more attractive, so it would be free. So the location is central but not so nice. Still a hotel that discerning guests can gladly recommend. Addendum: oh yes, the staff: extremely polite and courteous, one shouldn't forget to mention that.

Great atmosphere. Service is very important here. We have breakfast in the Federal room with a view of the Brandenburg Gate occupied. That was an absolute highlight. For us it was an unforgettable stay.

For me it was a beautiful Easter weekend and I can only thank all the staff who worked in this beautiful hotel and gave me an unforgettable stay. Unfortunately, there are often people who are not alone with themselves and unfortunately can not change such a nice hotel as the Adlon nothing. I can only say keep up the good work and the most positive reviews here prove me right; Unfortunately, there are always some exceptions, luckily they are not authoritative. I love a breakfast where 80 slices of sausage are not on a plate and 70 of them look like corrugated meat. The breakfast is its price, everything is freshly laid out in the display and the choice is more than ample. And here everyone is really fed up. The rooms are of the look of the old Adlon at that time and are equipped with high quality furniture the rooms are very clean and meet the latest standards in terms of Internet and television. Of course, anyone who enters the Hotel Adlon knows that I can not get a can of coke for 99 cents and personally I honestly do not want to. Of course, the hotel and the whole service have its price, but personally I am very happy to pay this because there is a lot to offer. Despite the big house I did not fill up like any other guest but had the feeling that I arrived home and I think this is the biggest award for a hotel to convey this to the guest.

Receipt Messy, 1 hour to the room waited, a room, which was not the intended - room dirty (dusty) phones speckled and the edition dusty, bedspread inside with blood stain yuck, in the swimming pool noisy children, jump from the edge of the pool without stopping! ! For birthday no table laid breakfast, no flower - very poor hotel, birthday cake came in the evening the next day, you could have saved yourself. Only the price corresponds to a luxury hotel, otherwise the paint is, as well as the old bathroom equipment ..... we do not see the hotel from the inside, so long ago that this hotel lived up to its name.

Not very pleasant. Went to hotel and tried to enter via back entrance, was blocked by some jobs worth person whom told me I had to use front entrance which was a 5 mins walk. Sad

About the hotel rooms in itself I can not say anything, since I have visited this hotel only for the purpose of a customer event.

Has seen better times and probably better customers. It lives from its reputation, which is diligently dismantled with such prices, the poor service and - you hear and be amazed - the sometimes dingy ambience (the toilets were an impertinence!). Actually only good for tourists who want to tell about having had a coffee in the most famous hotel in Berlin. Too bad.

It's not just the fantastic location at the Brandenburg Gate. Being a guest at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin is an experience to remember for a long time. Friendly, very courteous staff everywhere. A wonderful breakfast buffet, the lobby with piano music, the comfortable rooms and much more. What I liked best was the insecure, tolerant atmosphere in which everyone can be as he wants. An important signal in this day and age! We will be back!

It is not an exaggeration to say that in front of the Brandenburg Gate, the surrounding area is the embassy, which is the highest rank for a 5-star and Berlin hotel. The Brandenburg Gate is always full of tourists, but you can also watch it during the early morning or late evening hours. It is a long-established hotel, but it is a luxury hotel that has been totally reformed and you feel the newness even in the old. As the lobby was completely remodeled several years ago, the appearance and the impression immediately after entering have a big gap.

A spacious room and a fitness with a sauna are also suitable for long stays. It is a pity that the end time of fitness and sauna is 22:00 a little early. Is it German time?

We expected for breakfast, but enjoyed so many types of ingredients. The staff at the hotel also had a high level of service, and all of us were welcomed in the new English language. Is it characteristic of this hotel that it is composed of multinational staff? I felt that this is a cultural hotel that accepts a wide variety of people not only as customers but also as staff.

I stayed for several days and the last thing I felt was that I would like to bring my wife with me when I come next time. If you can spend time with your partner at such a comfortable hotel, it will be a good memory of your trip. We felt that there were many periods when we could stay in price range that it was not necessary to grow in price for high-quality hotel.

As you would expect from such a hotel, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. Location is ideal for a weekend in Berlin as you can access everything from here.
