This place is lit! It offers note things than you could imagine. From fresh fruits and vegetables, to prepared food and daily apparels, you can almost always find them here. Not just that, the prices are reasonably good too!
Wonderful markets, had the best coffee & croissant there!
Adelaide's jewel! A place to go every week to do and try difficult things!
So love this place it has so much history and culture
Vibrant fresh food market with lots of choice & many stalls offering free tastings of unusual cheeses, fruits, salami, etc. Great cafes in and around the market area, close to Gouger Street restaurants.
Great atmosphere! Watch out for tour groups, they take over the entire walkways and stop randomly.
It was great although one downer stale lollies really
Lots of vendors, amazing food and wonderful environment
There is a cheese and meat specialty store and it is interesting
There are also liquor stores, supermarkets, and Japanese supermarkets.
provide you with daily needs, Good Place to have breakfast and good coffee
The adaide central market is full of wonderful food. It still has the old market vibe with fresh produce but also now has eateries. A great place to stockup for a meal with high quality goods.
A foodie must.
Great range of fresh food, love the various cultures in the one place, very representative of SA.
Fabulous collection of fresh produce stalls , great eateries and coffees with a lively / buzzing atmosphere.
It is a wonderful place for foodies in general. From italian foods, cheeses of all sorts, meats of all sorts, French treats to coffee and fruits and vegetables, artisan breads and so much more . Any thing you want you can get.
Great atmosphere. Can be hard to shop if you are in a rush.
Good market with a large selection of fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy items, and general groceries. The market is fairly large in size and is unique in design. In addition, the fruits are fresh and of satisfactory quality. There is also a food court and a Coles supermarket.
Delicious fresh food always very cheap absolute gem
Central Markets houses stalls that provide amazing local produce ranging from food, flowers and more! It is a great place to sit down, with a bustling atmosphere that manages to not come across as overwhelming or hectic. In summary, Central Markets is a great place to go.
Good market to stock up before going into the outback. Cheaper than the big supermarkets in the country. The selection is also very large!
We go to the market each week for breakfast at Lucia's and then do fruit & veg, meat, cheese etc shopping. Love it
Nice place to grab fresh fruit and veg and also grab a coffee if u want.
Loved having a good old look around this market place
THE best place to buy fruit & veg. Hundreds of cheeses available. Excellent meat, smallgoods and seafood outlets. Many top class small eateries for lunch. Wonderful atmosphere.
Great place for a feed and fresh produce. The car parking prices are a bit of a liberty though.
Great food market, some interesting alternate food suppliers.
A pleasant place to shop for fresh produce, cheese and meat plus its foodcourts that offer a wide variety of food
I was in Adelaide for a couple of days, same atmosphere and buzz as it was when I left. Just watch for forklifts moving around if you are there very early.
What an awesome place to come for great food and drinks.
No place like this in all Adelaide. Everything is fresh, plenty of options and prices. On Saturdays around 1:30 discounts start so it can become very crowded and crazy, but you will get excellent deals.
You can find lots of fresh fruits and vegetables of different quality and price, in addition to cheeses, cold meats, breads and also cafes and restaurants!
Just love the variety of foods and products. The atmosphere feels great. Love this, place.
A vast selection of goods at affordable prices, dynamic and always changing!
I love the market. Drive in about once every six weeks to get the odds and sods I can't find in Mt Barker, including mass quantities of popcorn and pinto beans from the grain shop (or whatever their name is now), cheese, speciality cured meats, and of course my beef pho for lunch from the food court. Always find something else to buy that I wasn't planning on.
Went to the central market. So disappointing. Have not been there for a while seems to be less stalls and didn't have the atmosphere that it once had. Found food to be expensive.Overall a very disappointing visit.
You can find anything you want here, just look up the directory before starting out. Dozens of fresh food stalls, smallgoods, butchers, groceries, books, cakes, clothing, pretty much anything you can think of. Makes a great place to get meals in the city or to catch up with friends and family. It can be quite busy so be prepared to wait for your favourite place to go, or plan ahead and get in early before the rush begins. You'll get more food and better quality here than if you shop at any supermarket! Highly recommended
What an amazing experience, such a variety of products and very helpful and friendly people
A classic Adelaide location. You can't go wrong with a good Central Market trip.
Fantastic produce and a wonderful atmosphere. Great for shopping or launch and dinner.
Bought the sweetest Mangoes we've ever eaten from the Fruit and Vegie stall here! Great breads and cheese available too! People are so friendly!
Fantastic local fresh produce, great atmosphere, also good for a bite to eat while you shop. Highly recommend a trip.
Best food markets in Australia and one of the best in the world.
Highly recommended.
Always a great, fresh produce place to shop. I never tire of going there. Parking is always available and priced fair.
Spare at least 2 days for this place... It is so big
Make sure to be a little careful with opening hours and you will have a thoroughly enjoyable time
One of the best food markets in the world ! If you ever visit Adelaide, a visit to the market is a must.
Great meeting place. Everyone should visit here 3 times a week
