Comfortable and there are a good bakery which sell Vietnamese meat roll, very delicious

I just love the fresh fruits, groceries items, other local products and even souvenirs

This is the largest and most diverse market. There are a lot of different sellers here with an individual menu for each. I love going here with my friends and enjoying their food and drinks.

Great environment, you have plenty of choices and can even sit down and have a meal, then when you feel refreshed, continue on once more.

The Central Market has evolved into something quite spectacular, especially with its food court offerings and local specialty purveyors. After some fresh juice and hot pies (GF, remarkably enough), we marched out of here with 4kg of Tasmanian Leatherwood honey, some fragrant local cheeses and a flight of the finest prosciutto I've ever tried.

Certainly lots of small sellers to keep you interested. Not stellar though.

I dont visit very often but this is a great place to visit. If you park upstairs you get the first hour of parking for free. On Friday night at about 5.30 you xan get freshly smoked cooked chicken loaf, turkey legs for about $10 a kilogram. The smell when they come out of the oven is unbelievable. Friday night is the best time to shop here

My favourite place in the world to be love the atmosphere, different cultures, the different foods and fantastic coffee.

Iconic of Adelaide, certainly. Yet, it feels overrated, overpriced and way too crowded, especially compared to markets in other Australian capital cities or overseas. There only a handful of authentic stores, otherwise everything you see, especially fruits & veggies, can be found at Coles, whoolworth or foodland for almost half the price.

Great food!!!! Would highly recommend jamface for a coffee or cake if you want to have a sit down nibble

Such a vibrant bustling place. Ample fruit and vegetables, continental, flowers food and more. Most popular place in Adelaide for the markets, or China Town next door. And a lot more. The interstate bus terminal is across the street. . Here you are at the centre of Adelaide. Easy walking in each direction.

Great little market that's always hopping. We come regularly for their wide selection of fresh foods and we'll be coming for many years to come.

In the evening, I went to the Chinatown in the Central Market. There are many foods, especially many Chinese who are suitable for eating and buying. I like it!

A central market in Adelaide. A wide selection of products is recommended.

It's rare around the world to find a market like this which showcases the fine produce of South Australia. Noisiest and cheapest after midday on Saturdays when they close by 3pm and clear the stalls. Lovely aromas and bright colors to excite jaded senses. Must see in Adelaide.

Hard to get a parking spot... and the parking fee is quite expensive. maybe that is one of the reason why there is less people going to the market.

Look around before you buy... You will definitely find cheaper options of the same quality...

I have been blessed to have worked in central markets in my youth. Today I was saddened by the absolute lack of character in the market now.Gone is the banter between stalls and missing variety, perhaps rose coloured glasses of my youth..But thank goodness for Maria and her team at Lucia's..
