Waited in line more than 30 mins to check in. We expected a bigger room from the pictures and the restroom is so small no extra toilet paper. No microwave in the room and the microwave they have in the vending room is so small and old. We paid for buffet breakfast for two and the front desk told me it didn't come with buffet breakfast. The whole time we were there the whole floor smell like fish. We were overall disappointed and never coming back again.

This is a great hotel by all means. The stay is very friendly and helpful, and our event was very easy to manage with the hotel. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. I would highly recommend the westchase!

Location was great. It was less than 2 miles from the freeway. The room was very big with double beds and the beds were really comfortable. The service was exceptional. I will most definitely be staying again.

I have nothing but accolades for this hotel. From Raven letting me check in a bit early due to my early arrival into Houston, to Moses taking the time to ask my name and do what he could to make me feel welcome, it's all been great. Just nice enough to make you appreciate your stay but personal enough to feel welcome and at home. The rooms are very clean and quiet, which, when you're traveling, makes all the difference. I highly recommend booking here.

Terrible experience staying at this hotel. My work laptop, bag pack, and few other sensitive documents went missing from the room and the hotel was not able to do anything to track the loss. Lost over a $1,000 worth of goods at this place. Dispute resolution specialist called in Oct 2018 to apologize about the missing items and promised a resolution within 24 hrs. Never heard back from them. Be careful of your belongings if you are ever staying at this hotel.

Stayed here for a conference during the week. Nice, responsive staff (I reported an issue which was immediately resolved). Our room and public areas were very clean. Our room was very quiet (did not hear noise overnight). The water pressure in the shower was outstanding. The AC unit in the room struggled.

My stay was such a wonderful experience. The stuff truly went over and beyond, they greet you with smiles help you with any issues and most importantly showed great hospitality. I was truly greatful to everyone who helped me during my extended stay at this hotel. You all are a great example of true customer service. Thank you all for that it means everything!! I will definitely be coming by to stay with you.

Excellent service at front desk, plus free parking...

Excellent service at front desk, plus free parking. The only downside would be the inability to adjust your room temperature as it is defaulted to 73 degrees. Outside of that we enjoyed our stay.

Located just outside the city centre. In an area surrounded by lots of shops, malls and restaurants. The room are very spacious, a little bit dated but with comfortable beds. The gym facilities are quite new with lots of cardio machines and free weights. Indoor and outdoor swimming pool and small convenient store in the hotel lobby. Great breakfast buffet. And the staff is super helpful and friendly.

It was rather glum and depressing, through no fault of Marriott. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic all of this enormous, beautiful hotel's ancillary services were shut down. Additionally, occupancy was confined to only the 3rd and rth floors. Still this is a beautiful hotel. The standard room I was assigned was small but well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the linens fresh. I was offered a cancellation with full refund. I declined.

This by far one of the worst hotel I've stayed at....

This by far one of the worst hotel I've stayed at. Staff Teresita was super rude and not friendly. Check-in time stated 3pm but when I arrived it's not ready. After 1 hour they finally check me in but giving me a dirty room. How crazy is this. Will never come back. I recommend going somewhere else.

Pillows uncomfortable
2 key cards randomly stopped working
called down to request extra pillows to be left in room. When I returned to room at 10 pm... no extra pillows
called to inquire about room service/ bar services - clerk response was rude- as if I was stupid.

The room had two oversized square pillows & 2 very soft pillows on each bed. This made for an uncomfortable sleep the first night for me. After I called down a second time, extra pillows were brought up.

I called Saturday night to inquire if room service is extended past midnight, since it's a weekend. Reception says "no they're closed". I inquire about the bar, her response is "obviously not". My response is "You say that like I live here". She responds "sorry, everything is closed".

Great place to stay very nice hotel. The rooms were clean. The hotel lobby was nice. The room size is your average size room. The bar area is nice the food is good. The only thing is last call is right at 12 and few minutes after that you must leave bar area. They didn't let us finished your drink. Told us take to lobby or the room. Yes I would stay again. Just make I finish my drink before 12.

It's a good overnight stay for me and my family. We loved the indoor pool and the elevator overlooking the lobby. We had a good size double queen bed and comfortable pillows. There was several bars and restaurants in the hotel. Only thing was the parking area was full due to the guests to the ballrooms. Overall good stay.

Really liked staying at this hotel. The rooms are updated and very neat. They also have a beautiful lobby where people can just sit and relax. The main amenities you may need inside the rooms are available as well. They also have a lot of community activities hosted around or in the hotel, which keeps it busy!! Staff is very jovial. Would definitely recommend.

Attended a networking breakfast meeting. The food and service were both great. The wait staff should be commended as they were hardly noticeable as they served through out the meeting. Kudos for excellent attention to meeting customer needs quietly so as not to disturb the meeting.

When we arrived our room was not ready, which while annoying, was acceptable however they could not let us know when it would be ready or what the hang up was. The staff were rude and the waiter at the hotel restaurant was not only rude but disrespectful of his customers. The kitchen in the room was quite dirty, outlets would start and stop working randomly, the room would not cool. When calling the front desk regarding the A/C they sent a staff member to take a look and he walked around and then told us it was fixed now we watched the whole time and he didn t do anything or let us know what the issue was. Needless to say the room never cooled off. It was quite a disappointing experience. The lobby is very nice but the rooms don t follow. The only 5 star I would give is Alex at the concierge desk was absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful. I tried posting a review on the actual hotel website but for some reason I don t see the review listed.

The 9th floor smelled like pets. I guess they turn on the air flow depending on how many people are on the flow.
The bar is slow, the ladies working there have a personality and depending on when you get it is a hit or a miss. I travel a lot and was not impressed at there service at the bar. However their concierge lounge is amazing on of the best in all my travel. They remember who you are and take care of your needs. If you have access to it, you will love it.

We live in Houston and every year we flood. We always try to book this hotel because they make you feel like they are family. Pam and Jennifer make sure there is no problems with anything!!! If something is not right, they tell us just sit and relax while they fix it. Offer to get us water or coffee.All the desk crew, Even the Chief!!! Wonderful group Marriott has put together. When we have family or friends coming always send them there. Thank you.

I was not at all impressed with my stay at this location.My sheets were stained . My bathroom shower walls had writing on them. There were hairs in my towels . And My closet door was locked . Definitely wasn t worth the money.

Check-in was seamless and quick. Our room was clean, in order. They have an easy, automated wake-up call system, so I set up a wake up call, but it apparently failed.

There seemed to be some issue with the phone line from the room. The next night, I called the front desk to set up the wake-up call.... There was an issue with the phone line again and I had a difficult time hearing the clerk. But the wake-up call failed again! Every time I tried calling the front desk, there was an issue with the phone line. It sounded like there was another line linked in to ours at the same time... And, apparently, they couldn't fix it.

Other than that... Our stay was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food downstairs was delicious and well prepared. The beds & pillows were comfortable.

One of worst Marriott's I've stayed at. Starts by fact that they hire employees that seem to have ZERO customer service skills and ZERO motivation to work. When I came down to check out at 7am on a Saturday..NO ONE was at the front counter. I had to use a phone on the desk to find someone as the clock was ticking and had to get to airport. The lady that came out appeared sleepy and had to ask her twice for a correct FINAL BILL. In addition, the rooms are dated and everything looks worn out. The pub grill in the lobby is also a complete disaster run by the same type of lazy, incompetent and ZERO motivated employees. This is a MANAGEMENT PROBLEM. The GM has a portrait of himself in the lobby. He needs to make a presence and address these issues immediately. Its an embarrassment to the MARRIOTT BRAND.

Rooms were just ok. I expected more because oh the name. Left around 5 o'clock AM in the morning only to return arouns 10 PM to a room that was not clean. Same dirty Towels were still on the floor and trash cans were still full of food from the night before. No beds were made.

Love this Convention Hotel, especially when it was the Adam's Mark Hotel. Great work out room and swimming pool. It is also situated in a great location in the Westchase area. Their are many very good restaurants and bars nearby on Westheimer and Richmond. The rooms are very nice and very clean. The in-house restaurant is very good but somewhat pricey. The Atrium is very nice and they have very good ballrooms. This hotel must have the largest parking lot I have ever seen for a hotel. You will always have a parking space available or you can just have valet park your call for you.

Modern and up to date hotel. Friendly staff, great lobby for meeting people, and food options. Room service is fairly priced. Very close to a shopping plaza with many restaurant choices. Also close to a supermarket.

Decent stay BUT a few light bulbs were out and the indoor pool was closed for renovations. Always wondered why hotels leave this information out on their sites. I think they owe it to potential guests to advertise this vital information. We packed our swimsuits and was so disappointed. Especially since the weather was terrible outside! However food service was great. You can order til midnight. Pork belly and duck pizza for $13-14 was quite tasty! The rockfish tacos was ok. Overall, if I had to stay another night I would do so.

Was here for a presentation. Check in was fast and easy. When I got to my room I noticed a strong animal oder. Had to change my room to a new one. Had to go back down stairs to get another room and key. When I got to the new room the card keys did not work. Another trip to the lobby for new keys. Had dinner in the lobby. Food was good but not great. Service was fast and friendly.

I have stayed here every time I have come to Houston which has been almost monthly for the past 18 months. It is a great hotel. The staff provides excellent service and their top priority is the comfort of their guests. I highly recommend this hotel. Noreen is a manager there and she keeps the hotel in top shape and is available to address any needs you may have.

My sheets and pillow cases were dirty (with hair strands in the sheets) and the desk had dried food on it upon arrival. Unacceptable. I notifed the front desk and house keeping came up. When I spoke with the lady from housekeeping, she said that I could be moved to another room, possibly upgraded for the trouble. I called the front desk again and stated what house keeping told me and the guy that I spoke with said "yeah we can move you" so i asked him about the upgrade and he said "the entire hotel is completely sold out" :/.....(so how are you going to move me to another room then?) any who they changed the sheets and that was that. Ive stayed at this hotel before and had great service, with no problem, this time was different. Also the ac in my room made a loud noise when I turned it on.

This is a really nice hotel! I like the atrium style lobby and the glass elevators. Our room, 714, was clean and modern with a view of the pool. The breakfast buffet was decent with a lot of choices including custom omelets. The pool was very clean but the temperature was very hot so it was a little uncomfortable to swim in. The staff service was pretty good. I will be back the next time I m in the area.

We came here because our central air went out. This was the worst stay ever , we could ve just stayed home. The room was so hot, I never could fall asleep. Called down to the front desk 3x s no answer. Went down nobody at the desk. My boys and my husband slept but I m exhausted. Money wasted very disappointed.

This is one of the best ran hotel I have stayed at...

This is one of the best ran hotel I have stayed at in about 20+ years of mostly weekly travel.

What I like most is the employees care about their guest. I stayed here for about 3 years (weekly). After a while, I notice the employees enjoy working here. Their management takes care of their employees. Some have been here 20+ years.

I recommend staying here if you can.

This entire place is pretty comfortable to be in.. You have some gardens, a nice lobby with comfortable furniture.. You get a sense of relaxation due to it not being so loud.. Parking is pretty accessible and is all around so no real distance to walk..

The rooms are clean and nice and the breakfast is also pretty good. Also the parking situation is great with a lot of free parking but they offer valet but no one would be at the front to do it. Have parking spots designated for valet but no valet guy. Didn t make much sense, were just wasting parking spaces that were close. But the reason for giving them a one star was the horrendous customer service shown by the front desk. My friend got stuck in the elevator and not once did they show sympathy or concern for the situation. A lot of us were extremely worried and they did little to make us feel comfortable in the situation. Two ladies at the front desk were extremely rude and one of them was showing a lot of attitude. One of the guys from the front desk tried blaming our friend for getting stuck, saying he was playing in the elevator . But even their own security guard said it had been showing problems throughout the day. The security guard and the technician who actually opened the elevator were both extremely nice and helped us out a lot. But it still shocks me how you can work in the hospitality industry and show no remorse for the situation or help out the guests. I will make sure never to stay another Marriott if this the type of customer service offered by their front desk staff.

This is a dated and noisy hotel - had to change rooms multiple times. While the restaurant staff are pretty good and friendly, the front desk is hopeless. We were repeatedly charged a daily rate, despite having paid in advance. We were told twice, on separate occasions, that a delivered item was not there only to find it had been delivered the week before. Not what you'd expect from Marriott!

I m starting by saying I m not some guy who over exaggerates or would lie to make something out to what s its not . This place is horrible . The services is terrible and the food is all old and expired . The maids question you like you about to rob the place . Every one treats you like your about to steal something or you just ranmdomly walked in . When you ve paid your money . There s rat traps that s been there for years , as well trash laying around . The building is old . There was some candy on the floor that s obviously been there for years no one picked it up throughout my whole duration of the time being there (3 months ) as well as the old fashion rat trap . Food is over priced and it s all old or recycled . They have roaches and rats as well . Proven by the rat traps and the the dead roaches scattered around everywhere. Not worth your while . You could spend your good earned money at another marriot . This one is not worth it trust me .

Nice hotel. Renovated Marriott rooms that are clean and modern. Plenty of outlets and USB plugs for charging many devices in convenient spots in the room. Small coffee place in the lobby that brews Starbucks is decent. Arrived late on my check-in day and the staff was friendly and quick. Location is more of a traveling for business spot, which I was. Would stay here again, maybe next time try out the fitness room.

Very good hotel overall, though perhaps starting to show it's age a little bit. Clean, with the usual attention to detail that you expect from Marriott. Beautiful open atrium concept, though that can get a bit noisy at times, despite the, "quiet time" that the hotel tries to enforce starting at 9pm. Interesting assortment of characters in the hotel lobby. Certainly a diverse crowd.

I briefly attended a day tournament there in the convention area. Everything was adequate and professional and seemed to meet the needs of those who organised it. I can't say anything about the rooms it the other facilities, but this was basically the average hotel experience. Nothing terrible, nothing amazing. They definitely need more parking spaces for special events.

Decent hotel with a lot of space. Parking Arrangement could be a little bit better. The layout of the rooms is a little bit difficult to get to if you have a room on the Outer Edge quite a long walk from the elevators. Food quality is decent, but I do not know about the landscaping lights they have in the inside of their atrium.

Did not stay the night. I was at a gala there. Their food was not good. The chicken breast was tough and under cooked, which I had a stomach problem the next day afterward. There were cake sitting on the table before the gala started. Service was good. I would not recommend that they cook the food.

Great hotel and very elegant. We used this as our wedding reservation and our guest loved it. The front desk customer service was helpful and friendly and made sure that our needs are attended to.. Good quality breakfast and nice lounge.. the hotel building and environment is well maintained including the rooms. highly recommended and will visit again if I am in the area. Keep up the good service
