The rooms are clean and nice and the breakfast is also pretty good. Also the parking situation is great with a lot of free parking but they offer valet but no one would be at the front to do it. Have parking spots designated for valet but no valet guy. Didn t make much sense, were just wasting parking spaces that were close. But the reason for giving them a one star was the horrendous customer service shown by the front desk. My friend got stuck in the elevator and not once did they show sympathy or concern for the situation. A lot of us were extremely worried and they did little to make us feel comfortable in the situation. Two ladies at the front desk were extremely rude and one of them was showing a lot of attitude. One of the guys from the front desk tried blaming our friend for getting stuck, saying he was playing in the elevator . But even their own security guard said it had been showing problems throughout the day. The security guard and the technician who actually opened the elevator were both extremely nice and helped us out a lot. But it still shocks me how you can work in the hospitality industry and show no remorse for the situation or help out the guests. I will make sure never to stay another Marriott if this the type of customer service offered by their front desk staff.
