BUYERS BEWARE!!! MY COMPANY HAS SPENT CLOSE TO 2 MILLION DOLLARS LAST YEAR WITH THIS COMPANY. BOUGHT A $31,000 TRUCK T/A IN JANUARY TODAY IS ONE OF THE LAST DAYS IN SEPTEMBER. NO TITLE TURNS OUT THE TRUCK I BOUGHT WAS INVOLVED IN FRUAD 4 MONTHS PRIOR TO MY PURCHASE. MY BUSINESS HAS LOST $12,000 BECUASE THE TRUCK WAS SOLD MISREPRESENTED THEY CONTINUE TO LET THERE FELLOW NY DEALER SELL ON HERE AND GUESS WHAT ACV WILL NOT ANSWER MY PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS. THEY WILL NOT EVEN GET BACK TO ME TO REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE I PAYED FOR THE TRUCK LOOKS LIKE THEY WOULD RATHER PAY TRIPLE.. *********BUYERS BEWARE************* YOU WILL NOT SEE TITLES!!

Acv auction I have been associated with for several months and have had excellent customer service above and beyond. Great staff and great company. Will continue doing business with this company for years.

Customer service is polite and prompt. The cars are the rejects the dealers could not sell, or too much to repair. I have purchased 8 so far, average repair costs to make "sellable" is $1200. One had a bad cvt transmission and other issues totalling over $5000 in repairs. Just got another last nite, low and behold after driving it home and back to work, check engine light pops on. Catalytic converter P0420. That will be the last car I purchase from ACV.

Just like any other auction, they have their profit as first priority in front of the customer. We had a great experience with ACV up until the COVID-19 situation. We bought a truck GREEN LIGHT and the condition report stated that the truck DIDN'T HAVE A ROUGH IDLE. As soon as the vehicle was delivered, we could see the rough idle as the delivery driver was unloading the truck. So, not sure how their inspector missed that. And now we're stuck with a $3,400 repair with no help from ACV.

Update: We have now gotten stuck with another repair that was mis-represented by their condition report on a separate vehicle.

Buying all my inventory here from now on. Sierra always takes care of us if we have any kind of problem.

CAUTION! I subscribed to this online auction service just after there site launch. Since then I have purchased over 90 vehicles. The idea behind this site is great. However the execution is not anywhere near. You can easily be mislead into purchasing vehicles that are represented as green light and later find that the vehicle has many issues that went undescribed and hidden. Its understandable that this is the nature of the business as some might say. However, if the auction company creates a loose arbitration policy that with loop holes in there favor these vehicles will end up costing you money just to break even. Many other online buying platforms have a stronger arbitration policy and stand ground on misrepresentation. This is only the beginning. If you want to use there transportation assistance then you could wait for an additional two weeks before even getting the car delivered. As well it seems the pricing has been going up with little improvement. Remember the auction writes the rules to help the seller not the buyer. So If you purchase a vehicle and pay for transportation and find out that the green light vehicle you felt confident about purchasing ends up having many more issues than disclosed than you are responsible at your cost to return the vehicle. This is great for a seller, misrepresent the vehicle and take the chance, it will not cost you anything else. Lets talk about the titles. The policy here is having the title presented within 5 business days if you sell it title here and if its title attached this allows you 21 days as to provide the title to the auction. My personal experience with this is having titles take 20-30 days even under the title here status and even some title attached ones taking 30 days. Also if you have this vehicle in possession and you pay to have it detailed and maybe a new set of tires installed, well you better wait to do any work like this as you will be out the money with zero reimbursement if the deal false through because of the title issues. Another win for the seller. And don't forget you will have to pay to return the vehicle also. Trying to get someone on the phone other then your selling rep or the title department Is almost impossible. There is no operator answering the phones and you could call the arbitration office ten times a day with a 10% chance of getting someone or even a return call. Best to handle these through email which will have a day lag time. Over the time of me purchasing over 90 plus cars I have bid on hundreds. The interesting part about there platform is the lag time that has never been addressed or fixed. The site is well known for having an auction end tell you that you are the high bidder and all of a sudden the auction goes live again and you are being bid against once again. This scenario has happened many times and I constantly make a complaint with no adjustment or resolution. These are only a couple items that really stand out and urge me to caution you in pursuing this platform of purchasing under these issues are addressed for a better buyer experience. Wait one more thing. How about having a sales representative that is supposed to be helping you close the deals and they start working against you and trying to strong arm you into purchases. My first rep was great and the one I have now is as well but the three in between the two were horrible. Proceed with caution on this site. There are a couple people that I would like to mention as being great assets to the company: Susan, Stephanie (dealer services) Brian in arbitration and the title clerks that give it there all.

I was using acv and was kicked for some things that were out of my control, I buy 15-20 from Manheim express, which is the new platform, I wish someone at acv would reach out to me. I just wanna buy cars and I ve been shown the boot over some things that I had no control over.
Even tried to apologize multiple times. Sadly enough they ve lost a lot of sales and purchases from this result. In the car business we all have to work together. And before acv I would by cars and now I can t even do that. It s just disappointing. I also sell 75-90 cars on Aberage a week. Their loss. Just wanted to get it right with them.

I bought a truck couple weeks ago , i read the customer report like 30 times just to make sure i don't miss anything, well when i got truck the Air Bag Light was on, i sent the truck to diagnostic and it needed it passenger front impact sensor , with labor and part they quote me 400 dollars, i called arbitration and of course they said nothing we can do is your truck bye, i told the guy that we buying cars two or three states away you are my eyes when i buy something i trust your CR and now you telling me your CR is not good enough , so my advise is that don't trust on their CR, if you buy something pay 1000 less to cover their BS , arbitration is a joke , i will go back to Mannheim Auction where the arbitration has more sense and willing to work wit you protecting you as a customer and take care of you!! Be AWARE!!

I have been working with ACV for about 8 months, I really like this auction, of all the cars that I bought I had a problem with only one, with the vehicle transmission, the car kicked between gears and it only happens after the engine and transmission is hot and after driving for a few miles, I understand why the problem could not be detected before. Although the days of arbitration had expired, they helped me with the problem with more than half the cost of the vehicle. and the people I've talked to are very nice and friendly

Not accurate paint meter disclosed, as we involved with car of different condition than the report polished on their AD .. it was the worst experience i had thru .

We bought a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 on 10/2/2019 Through Acv and the truck was Green light and Yellow light for ticking noise with NO CHECK ENGINE. When we received the truck there was a code for P0700 Transmission code and the truck is not shifting. We submitted an Arbitration for that and we was advised by Matt Cox to drop the truck at the dealership for diagnose. We dropped it and the dealership and the dealership wanted a 5 hours diagnostic which ACV declined that because they dont wanna pay even they dont have a place for diagnostic. I was advised to take the truck back and they will see whats the solution then they sent me an email that the arbitration case is closed and I have to keep the truck because there was a yellow light for ticking noise. HOW TICKING NOISE IS A BAD TRANSMISSION.
JUST SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME ITS NOT WORTH DEALING WITH THEM. WE BUY CARS ALL THE TIME FROM MANHEIM AND I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THAT THEY NEVER FORCED ME TO KEEP THE VEHICLE

Don t use them. They don t honor buy back if you use your own shipping company or pick the vehicle up if you can t get it to your location within 7 days. How is any transport company supposed to do that? Even their own transport doesn t make it here within 2 weeks most of the time. Then they tell you to just buy the Buyer Assurance. Okay, sure. I spent an extra couple hundred dollars for 20 days instead of a week. The vehicle still isn t here? Well too bad, because if it extends that buyer assurance, you STILL don t get the buy back AND you just wasted hundreds of dollars with no exceptions to extend your buy back.
Not a single auction I ve dealt with before has been this reluctant to honor a buy back.

Where do I Start..
2015 I started a small business going to auctions buying cars, As I m sure you all know finding good cars at the auction can be very difficult. My mechanic sometimes makes more than I will on the car. Aside from ACV Auctions being so convenient to buy they are 100% behind what they say about the car. Everything you buy you pretty much know beforehand issues or no issues . If you don t mind fixing small stuff that s great. If you are like me and you just want turn key then this is the place to buy your cars Hands-down.
And talk about speediness you have a problem it s resolved in a day or two.
As of now I m hooked on never shop anywhere else... These guys are the future of Auction buying....

Our dealership started using ACV Auctions in 2016 when they were still quite new. Having been burned buying online in the past from other auctions I was weary of trying out the service and left it to my business partner to give it a try. We were really attracted to the convenience of buying without having to leave the office. As with anything involving used cars we had some issues but the leadership team at ACV went over and above to address the issues and ask for feedback. Our sales rep Pat has been great at putting deals together and the title clerks are top notch, far nicer and responsive than what you will find at most other auctions. To date we have purchased 50 cars through ACV and I feel confident giving them 5 stars.

They don t post a run list. They start there auctions at random times. Prices are okay but nothing to keep checking the app every ten mins. Does Manheim own this because it sure seems like it. Can we at least get a run list??

(TURN KEY AUTO SALES) gives ACV 5 stars I have bought many vechiles from this online auction and feel 100 % comfortable when making a purchase that is not physically in front of me. The inspection reports done by there inspectors are very detailed and very well documented in notes and pictures. My account manager at ACV Christina Caito is very responsive with any question I may have. She is very knowledgeable with all aspects of the company from titles to negotiations to company procedures and policy s and honestly makes working with the company such a easy task. Updated: Seems like they have really taken the pandemic and turned it into a positive when people needed it most. Customer service has been some of the best during these times. There s also a rep who is very vocal in some FB groups which is helpful.

Update 2: Rep in the groups is actually the owner and he doesn t alienate any issues.

We've been with ACV for 4 years or more now. In that time they have become our auction of choice. In those 4 years ACV has constantly strived to become better and improve their platform. For independent dealerships who may struggle to get to the auctions consistently, you should give ACV a try.

Recently we had a deal go to arbitration. This deal took longer than expected but Jason Emmick was prompt and professional the whole time. He went to bat for us and even contacted us after his office hours to keep us updated on the deal. In the end we found a resolution that worked for everyone.

Great company to buy from. The reps are Great. Stephanie and Steve both have taken great care of me. Hope to see this company grow. Will continue to make acv the main auction I purchase my vehicles from.

Thanks again to Jason in arbitration for the quick response and fairness in resolving this recent claim on the BMW Z4... I have had a few dealings with Jason over the past few years and I have never felt like it was going to be a hassle to call arbitration and have a conversation with him about an issue I might have on a car that I have purchased... one of the reasons I am comfortable with buying cars from ACV and shipping them cross country to Minnesota.

we love acv. switch from our local auctions to acv 2 years ago, (only go there now to sell our repos ) we have better inventory which has caused our sells to increase. we have tripled what we was doing.
I PERSONALLY Love customer service team and the title department...it's great to call in when there is a issue and it actually gets handled not pasted along for months.
The best part auction is that it can be all day every day without being outside in the cold dealing with other rude people. We was at Thanksgiving dinner and bought cars while we watched the game cant get no better then that. Love being able to get breakdown on vehicles issues if any. sometimes they are not always correct lol but atleast it a start.
ACV is the best! thank you for allowing small dealership like ours to be able to join and purchase vehicles, only wish! is that us small guys would be able to SELL one day soon,

Long story short I purchased a car from local seller picked it up same day, green light car with ton of problems (not sure if seller bribed their appraiser ) Called to return the vehicle same day, they told ,me to bring the vehicle to MB. Mercedes gave me a laundry list for $7800 (green light diesel Mercedes :)))) Matt Cox kept telling me that they do not cover some stuff on the list. received quote from them for $1100 to cover some sensors, agreed with the manager to look in to the engine if there bigger problem. Got approval to fix, fixed the issue and they told me out of arbitration time frame. So in the end I got green light car (!!!) with $4500 repair bill and 0 payouts from ACV 6 month of my time. Sending reports, calling for approval, taking car to 3 service facilities. All for tthem to later say that they "understand everything but their is nothing they can do and they out of it. 6 month of time waste And their Arbitration MATT COX is the worst. IF someone is going to sue them Ill contribute, please email me, I have everything on paper with calls recorded.

They ve completely leveled the playing field where a reputable independent dealer can buy New Car Trades direct without having to deal with the wholesaler masking the hidden defects. I have used this online auction a dozen times. They really put the effort into making the wholesale process simple! My family owns dealer auctions in multiple states and ACV really goes above and beyond helping the independent dealers. I only sell 30 cars a month, and with that I have to have quality inventory! They take care of issues that may arise and handle it professionally every time! This is what the auction/wholesale process should be that many other auctions have forgotten about; which is having amazing business to business support. The auction is good, the bad thing is the transport, very expensive and it takes a long time, I have a car 175 miles away and 12 days have passed, nobody cares what happens, they just want to see your payment.

I have bought 30+ units after signing up 6 months ago, I have gotten some really good deals. Buying fresh trade ins, from new car stores without having to spend the better part of the day at an auction is a no-brainer. I am getting more and more notifications as this company expands into new territories, everything from cheap sleds to high end luxury and sports cars,,,, I've even bought a jet ski. I've had 2 issues with vehicles I've bought and both times it was settled with a phone call and a few pics emailed to the arbitration dept.
ACV works for me.

Customer service is awful, arbitration policy is basically non existent, the people that get paid to check out the vehicles(which are supposed to be our eyes and trusted) do not give accurate information about them, etc etc etc. There is absolutely nothing I can say good about this company. I've also never dealt with an auction that requires you to pay immediately without a title. Have been in this business for over 10 years and have never seen such unprofessionalism. Also, if you notice on the reviews, many 5 star review is from a "person" that's only made one review which is for this atrocious company, obviously MULTIPLE FAKE REVIEWS. Buyer beware and stay away!

ACV auctions a new innovative platform for dealers to buy and sell vehicles has made me a believer that they can use modern technology to improve a very old industry and keep the old fashioned service that alot of new technology platforms lack. My friends that are dealers have spoken nothing but good things about this company, they recently use to buy hundreds of cars yearly from an on lane auction site that i won't name out publicly, they haven't been there since, i am a sales rep there so i see all their purchases, they have been overjoyed at the formula they use to show the cars condition report which helps reduce misunderstandings and bad investments, that said i couldn't give them 9 stars because it only allowed me FIVE STARS! Thanks guys and i hope ill be happy with the cars i bought that are currently on their way from transit.

If you like your business and want to keep it, DO NOT ever purchase inventory through ACV Auctions. We ve purchased roughly 100 vehicles and it no joke has push our business against a wall way too many times. It s been almost 6 months since I last purchased from ACV and I am still having sold vehicles come back with title issues. Now ACV refuses to help since it s been past 90 days from sale. They have the absolute worst title process. 8 out of 10 titles we d receive would have issues, that s being generous. You re rolling the dice buying here. Almost every car we purchased had mechanical issues and do not expect the arbitration department to do a single thing. I had a newer vehicle show up with a cracked exhaust manifold, sounded like a tractor on start up. I received a quote for $1800 to repair. To which the arb department said sorry it does not meet our $500 threshold. They argued the part could be bought on Rockauto for a discounted price and more or less should install itself for free. That s one example, I ve got 75-80 more. This auction is a disaster. They have kids with no true knowledge as inspectors and absolutely will never stand behind a vehicle. Titles can take months to receive. I just recently received a title from a vehicle I purchased in January. Unfortunately that s no exaggeration. I promise you will lose your business if you choose to build inventory through ACV. We re still digging out of the hole from this company, and countless amounts
of stress among the way. It took us too long to learn the lesson, so listen to me and STAY AWAY. Awful auction that needs to be sold to a larger company whom can actually operate it successfully.

Not a good experience! ..it been 2 months and ACV failed to follow thru on assuring titles for cars they sell...but on top of taking the funds from buyer. 1 vehicle has been sold to a customer and ACV cant provide title after over 2 months! Many calls No return calls, different person everytime you call. Customer Service in titles have zero clue of what they are doing..you ask for an extension number they won't provide. I am not one to give bad reviews, but as a result of their Incompetence and No interest in resolving the problem I have a unhappy customer who is driving the vehicle without a title! So know matter how good the experience was for my customer..ACV turned it into a nightmare. Dealers work very hard to provide a good experience for their customers to have ACV create a nightmare. Now I know why they wont answer your call and want you to leave a message.

Look at and Listen to the other bad reviews here. They are 100% true. I was one of the first Dealers in Arizona to register with ACV. Worthless Auction, With Poorly Described Car which take $1000s to Recon, Trying to green light everything to make it sell for more, Arbitration is a Joke and will not listen whatsoever regardless of the problem, Transportation will deliver in the wrong spots and in the middle of the night, Transport will not show up when they say they will, Some of the titling is a joke and took threatening them with an attorney to get one. It does not matter if title is present or not. It does almost take 30 days for the cars I bought here. Also my bank doesn t agree with they re ACH rules. I have warned ACV about this. Everyone there is well aware. I am being told to switch banks by ACV which won t happen. They don t want to work with me. One day my account works and the next it doesn t? Have had better experiences with other online auction platforms. It's better to try backlot cars, and traderev. Staff is friendly on both of them. ACV needs to rethink all aspects of business on all parts. I had buy fee credits they wouldn't let me use. I will apparently never get these back. In the end just a tiny auction trying to act like a big business and screwing people over along the way. The sad thing about this is Customer Service in any department doesn't care and payments department is extremely rude and worthless. It seems like they don't want their business to survive. I will be letting all of my friends know to stop using this auction immediately. Really hoped and tried to like this auction and gave benefit of the doubt. Really sad business... I was the highest bidder on a vehicle and I was waiting for a phone call to confirm or decline my bid, never got a phone call and the next morning vehicle was sold to somebody else for $50 more than what my offer was. Very unprofessinal . I will never buy from them again

Major mechanical issues on green light vehicles with A arbitration process the like of which I have never seen!

These are supposed to be local trade-ins from new car franchises, which most are!
With the exception of the last one, The seller was

I would never knowingly purchase a retail vehicle from copart.

Furthermore the customer service was not up to snuff with call backs and return emails taking way to long when they did decide to return the communication!

So sad to see a company with so much potential practice business this way!

Full disclosure, transparency, honest, A-1 service, & customer service. A lot better than other company's running units. Appreciate the ease of buying and full disclosure of photos, OBD codes, announcements.

We have bought 3 vehicles so far. The first one was great. The 2nd one was a nightmare. After taking 3 try and almost a month to get it here, It had a bad gear case as it came off the truck. I called immediately to send it back through arbitration. I was told no problem, the transmission was covered in arbitration. A month later and numerous phone calls, I was told that I had to keep it. They would pay for a replacement and I would have to get it installed. Then I was told they would only pay to have A USED JUNKYARD TRANSMISSION. Not rebuilt, not have it rebuilt. But used. If it didn't work when installed, I would have to pay for the 2nd install myself.
Other problem is NOBODY calls you back! You call them, even ask for a supervisor, and they never return your calls

ACV has been super helpful, our wholesale operations have greatly improved. Hope Moore followed up with for months before I signed and I'm really glad she did. The level of service to the dealer is second to none. Bye bye brick and mortar auctions!!

I own a local locksmith. Jennifer the district manager called me and asked me to make a key for one of the vehicles they have lost a key to. I did the job as promised, few hours after the call. On top of that, I have the best prices in town and was hoping to do more business in the future. A month later after I did not get paid I followed up with her to make sure it s all good. She said the invoice that I have sent her was overlooked and offered me to pay over the phone with her card. I do not accept cards over the phone for the security purposes. I said it s fine, and asked them just to process a check. Now it has been almost 2 month after our last conversation and still no check. I honestly even forgot about them, until I was going trough my invoice book today for other reason. It s just sad that it looks like somebody is not doing good on the accounting part. So be careful when you do work for the company and make sure you get paid on time. I give them a 300 credit score!

Been a truck dealer for 16 years and after getting tired of physical auctions I can say I am pleased with ACV. It is refreshing to find a user friendly platform with very detailed condition reports. Also the territory managers are very friendly and are great assets to ask questions to. I Have bought 2 trucks Within a day of using their platform and was pleased. I just Dealt with arbitration department and were reasonable to my needs On compensation based on the circumstance. I think this company is a valuable Tool to for any dealer to have to diversify buying and even wholesaling methods. I ll be a continued customer.

Bought a truck with 75,000 miles when the title shows 175,000 I paid all the money on this truck and ACV won't compensate anything.. Buyers be aware they don't care about you. I switched from Mannheim to ACV but apparently is another auction who only cares about themselves.... Update: Rep John did reach out to me for 3 weeks got us b's around and he did nothing. he said upper management said nothing they can do.

Update 10-05-20 : Owner replied on this review and wrote: he was going to look at this issue 1 month ago. no one has done anything, even worst. I haven't received the title.

I m done with this auction. Recently I purchase 6 cars and all of them has some issues and I did take care of some of them . Last 2 one cost more then $1400 if I need to do the new part . I got some connections and I found the use part still cost $900 for one of them and $1300 for other one . They ask me for statements, which means I got the cheapest Mecanic in town to do the job . After couple days the decline the arbitration. Still I waiting for title. They call you when they want to sell the car . Other then no follow up with your problems. We pay more to get the good car . They don t announce anything about the air conditioning. One the car is Jaguar. And one is Toyota Camry. I bought the green light. Patrick is one of the guy in arbitration they don t care about your problems. They asked for statements and some explanation. So I did and to the end they came with stoped numbers under $500 which means that s cost for labels and part is no included. STAY A WAY FROM THIS AUCTION.

Great place to buy a cars! I have had good experience with them so far, better then other online auctions. I like the way their arbitrations works, if they didnt mention it, they usually compensate you to solve the issues. 5 star arbitration I would say. Thank you guys!

Excellent buying experience!! They work to get the deal done. Arbitration process generally smooth. Their condition reports actually give you the diagnostic trouble codes which is a big plus. Big time saver!!

Excellent service. Cars are very well described and the whole entire ACV team is extremely friendly. The fees are very low and arbitration department is very fair. I highly recommend the use of this app. Much better than any of these Manheim and Adesa auctions which take advantage of dealers with their crazy high fees.

I hope the company can keep the founders personality. Arbitration is very money conscious and ACV is actually the ones buying the car back. Not the seller. Joe made it right. He actually took the time to call me and hear my story. He is a car guy. The arbitration department is protecting themselves for the short gain. I sure hope Joe or whoever is over seeing them can get it figured out because I am rooting for them. I will buy from ACV in the future because of my local rep Robbie, Susan, and the founder Joe. With Over 250 vehicles purchased... very good service.. saves countless hours at live auctions.. prices are great as well. Message to the crybabies: This is a WHOLESALE auction service. Every vehicle purchased is used.... thus do not be surprised if they need a few parts etc.

The inspections are very thorough. I can buy cars without having to leave the office!

Do not use or buy from this company. They will not stand behind their cars. You by green light vehicles And it has internal motor problems and still will not stand behind their policy. The arbitration department is a complete joke and does nothing but give you the run around. If I could choose 0 stars I would.

Some CR inspections are not done properly and you will have to invest a lot more money in to the vehicles then expected. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Agreed, there are definitely a few good people that work for the company. However, the recent horrible customer service, arbitration process, and communication from admin & management is on the rise. They are sure to call me immediately when they want to close a deal on a car I've bid on, but when I need help with a leaky roof that was green lite sale, and delivery for cars purchased that take several weeks to arrive, they only promise to run it up the ladder, without even a response weeks later. I am now looking into Trade Rev and Backlot cars as a new additional option as I buy about 40 to 80 cars a month. This company started out strong and former management (Vince) gave top notch service, those days seem to be gone now and the attrition of the quality of cars and service is consistent.

As a used car dealer, I don't compromise the condition of the vehicles. ACV make my purchase very convenient. The inspection, details and Arbitration support is the best a dealer need. Further, the best of the best is your account manager excessive support at all time. I am so lucky to have Xiena Chu as my account manager. Professional, supportive and full of positive energy. I am so so much grateful to ACV for helping me to grow.

Amazing place to buy cars and get good deals ! Way better than manheim with very detailed CRs and great buyer policy protection .

I have bought approximately 100 cars in 5 months from ACV. I have mixed feeling about this company, and hope they can work on the following:
*Cars are not presented well, CR' s are not Accurate, and they don't test drive, or at least represent the transmission accurately.
* it will take you 4 days to get your pick up slip, after you have finalized your auction.
* don't select their transportation, you will be waiting for 20 days plus, especially if you buy from Upstate NY.
* Arbitration will not honor full estimates, they use Mitchell guide and a labor rate of $85 and hour. They won't cover fluids, machine shop resurfacing, or the time that it takes to get rusted bots out.
* titles will take more than 21 days.
Good Idea, as it does eliminate the middle man. The staff are friendly and obsequious. Arb checks are nevr late.
Just needs some fine tuning.

After buying & selling on this site for over year I ve had nothing but issues & stress especially from my Account Rep. Absolutely No help with trying to close deals w/ sellers, in fact i get mostly sarcasm & rudeness when calling to try & close deals. They don t care about existing customers rather getting new ones.

I bought a vehicle to this auction ,the listing say the vehicle have 152k miles with green light but when received the title 9 days later the front of it say 154k miles,call arbitration,they say to me it's a clerical error,it's nothing they can do,stop buying from them,they love collecting money but when it comes to issues,they're don't care about buyers......very unprofessional

I work with them for 5 months. All the cars have issues not in the inspection report. They saying 10 days free arbitration but don t believe that. They will not cover you at all. Last car I got it from Rino Nevada. I sent driver to pick up it and he called me saying that the engine has hard noise, back camera and the AC are not working. I told him don t pick up it. They called me that leave the car is not the option and They will ship it to me and charge me $600 transportation fees and they asked me to do diagnostic at a dealership then they promised me that will cover me all the cost including the transportation fees.
I spent around $1300 to fix the car and I need to spend $600 more to replace the back camera and they send email that the review team denied my claim.
Not recommend at all

Had a transmission issue with a vehicle, Mike Kiebzak at the arbitration department was great to work with. He responded quickly and handled everything professionally.

Terrible arbitration,,bought for last week like 10 cars 4 cars was on green light when they arrived my place some of them they had bad transmission and bad engine talk talk and talk to arbitration they could not do any thing for me just be aware

I ve been a car dealer for over 25 years. I have purchased almost 50 plus cars on this app, and have concluded go to a reputable live auction. The arbitration department here is an absolute joke. Spoke to Nicholas , he claims to be the supervisor. Purchased a car on a red light, however their description didn t describe the shoe electrical problem the car had. He was very rude basically told me, red light nothing they can do. So don t believe the description that they put. They take your money , and don t wasnt to know nothing. Bad business..

I represent a small time old school used are dealer that is new to the computer age. We were suspend because we were using there program and we conteroffered and the program did not take it instead it made us appear to have said yes to the sellers price . I had multiple arbitration incidents with them which they were fair and did the right thing on but there people in the field are horrible at descriptions of the car and we have to buy car based on that and I don't buy cars to arbitrate I buy them to re sell and three purchases had to be junked so I actually broke even or lost money on. I have been in business over 25 years and hope they are just passing through because they are trying to lock up the trade ins and new car dealerships and hurt the small used car dealer ! Stick with dealer bids and the auction this people are unskilled and trying to lock up and control a free market and knock the small used car dealer out . I have seen em come and go in my years and these guys will go! Can't touch manheim and hands on evaluations because there people are horrible at it!

I have been a registered dealership with ACV for about 6 months now. My account representative has changed about 3 times. My account representative at the moment is Max, he is amazing I hope they never change him from my account. He is extremely professional, so precise with getting my work done, and so easy to work with. He is always on top of all my deals and treats me with the most respect. I hope ACV holds onto Max tight because if it wasn't for him my deals would be all over the place. Max, continue doing what your doing and we hope you much more success from here on forward. Doing business with ACV is so easy. Thank you for making transactions so easy.

I never pictured the day where I would be able to buy cars accurately on an online platform. I have been using this platform for roughly 2 years and have managed to stay away from an in-lane auction since. I both buy and sell on this platform and have been through all the growing pains and continue to use it as my main inventory source. I have found them to be very open, even often asking for my feedback on everything from VCI's to ARB. I personally find that they stand behind their product more than any other online or in-lane auction. Long gone are the days of being run by auctioneers or bid up by someone in the crowd. Their business model is based on presale inspections and thorough vehicle reports for buyers. Unfortunately, they hire just about anyone to do an Inspection. I've recieved newer units with huge holes in the frame, bad transmissions, broken head bolts, heavy corrosion and really botched collision repairs all not on the report. Their only solution is to offer you credit that goes towards buyers fees. Do your self a favor and put your eyes and hands on units at physical auctions. You can not trust ACV's reports to help you make smart investment decisions.
Update: May 21st, 2019 Nobody has reached out per their reply. Again, buyer beware you can not trust the presale inspections. You will be left hanging with other dealers junk needing major repairs.
