I just left Dan's.the experience was exactly what I wanted.I had the pleasure of meeting Scott.you can tell he has a real passion for photography.He was patient and courteous and enthusiastic.I bought a couple of filters and a cleaning kit.it was a small purchase but I was treated the same as if I was spending thousands.He answered all my questions have me some great advice and introduced me to the store.I am from nj and would and well drive the hour and half again
Go to Dan's, ask for Scott you won't be disappointed oh he gave me coupons and saved me money thanks Scott

If you want it they have it.....if you NEED it they will find it for you....this is THE place for EVERYTHING dealing with photography....and the staff are killers....love 'em dearly

Had to get photos off phones and on print. It worked well and the staff was great. I am not good with technology at all and I managed to get through it. I did not need them right away so I can't comment on that. Also got the passport type photo.

Everyone is very nice. I went for a photography class which was excellent.

Ken, the lead framer at Dan s Camera is the only person in the Lehigh Valley that I will take anything to have framed.


Back to Ken, he did a tremendous job shadow boxing and framing this memorabilia and I am incredibly proud to have it as the focal point in my home. Dan s Camera City with Ken operating the framing department are simply off the charts and I have been using Dan s services for over 30 years since they days they were back on Highland Street. Simply thank you.

I can't say enough great things about the staff at Dan's. Every time I go in I am always treated like the most important customer in the world. Today I stopped din to ask about calibrating lens just hoping to get some information and Steve in the Allentown store told me to go grab my camera and lens from the car and he sat and took the time to review the focusing on each of my three lens and showed me sample images he took and explained to me what my lens and camera were and were not doing well and how my set up would benefit from being calibrated. Instead of just taking all my stuff and being eager to charge me for calibration I might not have even needed, Steve took the time to make sure my money would be well spent. Building that kind of trust is important to me in a retail industry where items are typically very expensive.

I also wanted to look at more compact and portable cameras for traveling and within a few minutes and by asking a few simple questions Steve helped me pick out the Sony A6000. He could have easily tried to sell me on the more expensive top of the line model but he knew I had my professional set up with my Nikon DSLR and that what I really needed in a second body was available at a better price point. Again just knowing that no one at Dan's is going to try and rip you off just to get a sale is such great peace of mind!

I love having a place like this near me where I can go and get real advice and information that I know will not be biased or commission driven. My experience with other sales reps like Jim have all been equally as great.

The worst place To take photos For passports aside from being expensive if Hispanic Rees Look at You Like Trash.

Dan's has a business concept that's a total rip off - make all the $$$ you can by not giving a damn about the customer. You have to purchase the rights to have any of your photos saved to a DVD. They only save 5 photos to a DVD for $179.99 plus the additional $69.99 and any other photos you need added to the DVD costs an additional $19.99 per picture. I spend $250 and can't have all 16 photos of my baby girl saved to a DVD unless I spend $500 plus? In this digital day and time who wants to pay extra to have photos taken of them saved to DVD for over $500 for a baby...seriously?

I had to pick my jaws off the floor to walk out the Easton location. Wow what an awesome business scheme - support local businesses yeah but NOT Dan's.

Save your money and go somewhere else. Dan's was a waste of time and $$$ NOT worth it at all. I am NOT walking into another Dan's studio ever again I'd go somewhere else where I'm more appreciated as a customer not a FOOL.

I made a digital photo album for the first time. The staff there is so helpful. They made the whole process easy. They showed me how to do it by giving step by step instructions and even their advice.

I recently returned from my wedding/honeymoon and needed some disposable cameras developed ASAP. Much to my dismay I learned that no one in the Lehigh Valley does 1-HR Photo developing and now require an entire week. After a few word of mouth suggestions I called Dan's Camera. Not only were they able to develop my cameras by the time I needed them but their customer service was superb. Each interaction I had with their staff, via phone and in person was top-notch! Thank you Dan's Camera!!

Came in for company business and was overcharged for same type of business I had done independently about a year ago. Very pricey but good selection. Offer classes on camera use and friendly staff are a plus.

I needed a green screen and had to unexpectedly extend my rental a few times. Dan's went out of their way to help me every time I called. They were so pleasant and easy to work with. I received superior service and their green screen was exactly what I needed. Will use them again without hesitation if I need equipment. Thanks so much!

I have been stopping at Dan's since the 1970's and always find really cool, hard-to-find items there. The staff is very courteous too.

Went to Dan s today to have my photos on my cell uploaded to a thumb drive.
Had about 7500 photos and videos which cost $70 which I felt was a more than fair price.

Friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. Competitive pricing and they also sell quality used equipment. They also have affordable service plans. I don't know much about cameras, I was shopping for equipment for my daughter's camera and they explained everything in detail. They took the time and were patient with my indecisiveness. Lol. Steve Miller was extremely helpful and didn't pressure me to buy anything. He asked about a budget for spending before he even began to show things to us. He demonstrated many different items while explaining everything. Steve is an asset to Dan's and I hope I run into him again for the next purchase. Fyi, prior to trying Dan's, we tried the big box stores with no success. The big box stores don't have the intimate knowledge about their products that Dan's has. I was extremely satisfied with Dan's Camera City

There hasn't been a time I have stopped at this store, and didn't find not only what I needed, but actual competent people to assist. You need a fridge, go to Best Buy. You need anything photo/video related, go to talk to the talent you find here.

The staff here is always so very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! And their prints always come out beautifully, will never print anywhere else. C:

Best place to learn about and buy new and used camera equipment in the area!

Today was my first visit to Dan's Camera City and it did not disappoint! The staff is very knowledgeable and customer service oriented. The store is ample and has excellent photo equipment selection, including used gear. I came upon them because I was on the hunt for a hard to find lens, and luckily they had one in stock. Scott, who I spoke with over the phone, was very helpful and promised to hold the item for me. Being a 75 mile drive to the store he assured me he had set the lens aside for me. Phil helped me at the store and demo the lens for me. They even have targets outside for testing the lenses on the spot! Thanks for the excellent service!

I had such a wonderful experience at Dan's Camera City today. I have a passion for photography, and I had a few questions about the camera I purchased a few months back from Dan's. I was greeted by Manny and he was extremely helpful, it felt as though he could see through my goals with my photography business and he offered many helpful hints and refueled my desire to continue to learn. He explained what would set my work apart from ordinary work. Hands down I recommend Dan's for all of your photography questions/needs.

Once I had a 16x20 print made and found a blemish on it. They re-printed it for me right there! Exceptional customer service.

Great classes! The lessons are very comprehensive, varied, and very reasonably priced. The salesmen/women are all very knowledgeable, too.

I went in to sell some gear. Just to be low balled to $250 on $2200 equipment that s less than an year old. I was also told there s no way I paid that much for it. Which if you look back a year ago that s what it was going for. It s currently going for around $1400 with a lens. To be offered $250 is plain insulting especially when they re selling a d3100 for over the price of what they re offering me for my equipment that s much newer. I ll never do business with this place again. I ll stick with my b&h photo

We had a fantastic experience at Dan s Camera when we recently visited to have our son s senior photos taken. Our photographer Matt was excellent. He was friendly, layed back, and really made the photo shoot a pleasant experience. The staff at Dan s camera is very knowledgeable of their products and are always willing to help. I highly recommend visiting for camera supplies as well as scheduling a photo shoot.

Horrible customer service. The assumption that they think you know their whole price sheet when it comes to their services- and how dare you not know! Defensive when you question their processes. The snobbiest people I've ever had to come in contact with.

He shares an enthusiasm for photography that is unmatched. This place reminds me of why you buy local, and will match your needs and wants to the perfect camera and equipment for you and your lifestyle. They also sell really top-notch stuff and not cheap Amazon rip-offs.

I ordered a simple 4x6 print(only 1) using their online website. It was easy to use, it was a picture taken with a cell phone. After trying to use several other online photo print sites for places such as Walmart, Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens, they all would cut off part of the picture when I tried to order the 4x6(in this case, the picture was from a meet and greet with a band so I wanted all the people in the picture!). But Dan's Camera City website was simple, fast and didn't cut anything off the picture! No distortion to fit it to size either. It looks great, was ready by the next day. And it was cheap to have it printed. Will never even waste time trying anywhere else for any future photo prints!

I went I to Dan's Cam city to upload some videos of memories that I could not send via email or text....the process is very simple the guy who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable pricing was what I believe to be a fair and the time that it took for them to process everything seemed to be fair.I will use their services again..

Completely satisfied with my purchase and experience. Worked with Steve M. and wanted to get to the next level of my photography. Steve and I emailed and spoke a couple times. He listened to me and what I wanted and came up with a great package that was fairly priced and optimal for what I want to do. When I told him I was going to pick up the camera and go down the road to a local wildlife reserve he not only charged up the battery but gave me tips on where to see birds in the reserve. These are some of the many reasons why I prefer brick-and-mortar stores. You don t get this type of service online.

Staff is VERY helpful! I had to get photos from my phone to enlarge for a photo show and the person that helped me went above and beyond to get them cropped and clear. The prices were excellent as well.

I've been a happy Dan's customer for about 20 years. They have great customer service. For example, I gave them a phone photo with instructions to call me if it would not turn out good quality. They called, worked with it, and turned it into a beautiful 8 x 10 portrait. Total cost: $5. They always do their best for you.

Knowledgeable, helpful staff, great products a great place to get inspired, take lessons and buy gifts. But first and foremost the staff are terrific. I know that I can go to Dan's camera store and I will get a good deal and have any photo video, or disc problem solved on the spot.

I've been here several times and each time I was promptly asked if I needed help, and the sales staff were friendly. Steve Miller helped me the first time times I bought lenses, and got me set up in a few photography classes. Their prices are reasonable too.

Best place for expertise, widest selection of products and quick, quality service.

They were contracted to take Santa pictures at a Forks Township farm. Package A was $35 for 3 prints and "Plus digital file". The BAIT AND SWITCH tactic was only one image on the file (flash card) and $20 additional per image. This was not stated anywhere, nor did they care. BUYERS BEWARE of Dans Camera City. I will also be talking to the owners of the farm to reconsider who they use for their photo contractor.

This place was so easy to find from Fleetwood. The store carries quite an abundant of excellent components and the staff was very knowledgeable. Audrey was awesome!

Staff is very knowledgeable; the extra cost, slight, of the camera is offset by the expertise of the staff.
