There is something to be said about having a local stair lift company that has an actual location to visit in Delaware. When my father had a stroke we ha d no idea what the first step was but True Mobility went above and beyond to help guide us through the process. A consultant came out to do a free in hom e estimate within 2 days and installed our stairlift within a week. My dad was so grateful. Thank you True Mobility !!

We needed a full sized topper for our pickup and the ARE brand landed at the top of our list. After using the online configurator, True Mobility came up as the local installer. They answered my emails promptly, steered us away from needless (but costly) upgrades, and ordered the topper. True Mobility notified us promptly when the topper arrived and scheduled us for installation -- a process we complicated tremendously by submitting a late order for the Topper EZ Lift kit and weekender tent. Unfazed and more than receptive about tackling the new challenge, Mike and his folks ordered, received, and installed the ARE topper and Topper EZ Lift kit -- even though they'd never done a lift kit installation before. Bottom line: we're pleased, the topper and lift kit are superb, and the installation was completely successful. We're particularly pleased with the fair deal we received, and with the can-do attitude we encountered at True Mobility. Take your truck to True Mobility, people, because they definitely know what they're doing.
I have an adult daughter in a wheelchair. After my other children moved out I lost my help with lifting my daughter into a vehicle. I visited Tru Mobility to look into a van with a ramp. From that day our lives changed. Michael listened to what I needed and we bought our van soon after. That was 5 years ago. We can go anywhere we want without help now. Since my accident almost 10 years ago True Mobility has been the company I used for all my home and vehicle modifications. The staff is always friendly and attentive to all my requests. They are always willing to do periodic checks on my hand controls to make sure everything is in great shape and were quick to give a quote and install my stairlift when I moved into a new home. I appreciate them for being a company that gives me my freedom back so many ways.
if I could give this place no stars I would. this place is the worst. a friend of mine has been waiting for three months to get his van lift fixed. they have inexperienced people try to fix the problem and this friend of mine is a disabled Vietnam vet. the van has been in and out of the shop again for three months now and they keep mis diagnosing the problem until they figured out the problem. they take the van give my friend the hope that it is going to be fixed and it hasn't been for three months. their standard line is waiting for the part and the front office staff the girls up front have a very abrasive personality which would indicate that they should not be in this business at all. run, don't walk away from this place and if you care at all about your equipment go somewhere else.

Brought in a scooter we had bought for $20. Didn't have much hope for it. They didn't have anyone there to do repairs and asked if we could leave it over night, but I was heading back to college. They called someone in to repair it. Took half an hour to replace the battery and find a charger, and now it works great! Friendly and efficient. Thank you True Mobility!

I took my RV here for winterization and a gas systems check and was very pleased with the service. The staff is professional and well versed in everything RV; however, a few things were not up to par. They held the RV in the lot for a week before working on it, time I could have used to show it to potential buyers. Once they brought it in, they were done that day and everything worked perfectly. When I came to pick it up on a Saturday, however, they decided to leave early (I had called the day before to confirm they would be open), so I had to leave my RV another two days. In a snowstorm. With the vent open.
Overall, I'd probably go there again. Out of the three Delaware service shops I've used, they were the best for major RV repairs.
My father was in quite a difficult situation, but with the help of True Mobility , we found the perfect wheelchair van for him equip with the hand controls he needed. Wheelchair accessible vans are a life saver!!
Installed a Bruno lift for us. The installer came in and forcefully tried to get us to upgrade the lift(raising his voice in the process), saying "Bruno's lifts are rated for 300 lbs., but they only really good enough for 230. " Meanwhile the real problem was he wasn't installing enough anchor feet, and he knew it. He put together the machine, and within a couple of months screws were falling out of the seat. Seems he stripped the screws upon install. They show up and replace the damaged seat with a stained old seat. They show up for yearly maintenance, and always have to come back in a few weeks. This last time they left the machine making more noise then when they got here. The machine is barely over two years old, and they have already been here 3 times this year alone, and now the switch doesn't work and my wife needs to use the remotes to control it. If you call Bruno to complain, they don't call you back. FYI.
