Action Flooring did an outstanding job on our floor installation. Lauren was quick to respond, gave good advice on flooring options, prepared an estimate quickly, and followed up when I didn't respond (turned out there was an error in my email address and I hadn't received it). The really great part was the installation: it was scheduled to take one day to remove old hardwood and install new boards. I came close to the end of the day to check on progress and discovered to my dismay that the floor looked nothing like what I expected. I called Lauren immediately: she got her manager Sean to contact me (by this time it was 9:30pm on a weekend - pretty impressive). Turned out the supplier had shipped the wrong boards. With no further calls or involvement from me the correct boards were delivered, the installer came back, and finished up ahead of schedule. The floor looks fantastic - but just as importantly, the service was fantastic. I would definitely use Action Flooring again, and highly recommend this company.

I used action to repair my water damaged tiles - the floor looks great! They were even able to order in the matching tiles.

Action Flooring stepped up to the plate when we had a flood in our kitchen. We had originally arranged for our insurance company to contract a different flooring company to do the floor installation. This other company (NOT ACTION) refused to call us back, and after six weeks of their missed appointments, we fired them. At the recommendation of our insurance company, we talked with Action Flooring. Lauren with Action called me the same day that my insurance company contacted them, and she set up an appointment right away, we colour matched the floors, and within a week, Action's installers were out at my house fixing everything. Lauren was able to work so quickly that all the timelines were caught up on the project, even with the 6 week delay that the other company had caused. I cannot say enough great things about Action and highly recommend them to anyone.

Very prompt in service. Lauren was able to give me a good deal on our price and was very helpful in suggesting types of carpet. The installation was scheduled exactly when I wanted. Thom (I think) did a very good job in installing. He gave a few suggestions to help with some fixes in the basement, too. I would definitely recommend Action Flooring to anyone looking for good quality service!

Action Flooring recently replaced the hardwood throughout the main floor of my home. It was the owner of the company who helped me to pick out the style and color of flooring - much appreciated since I don't have an eye for this type of thing. The new flooring totally updated the look of the house. The staff at Action were great to work with. The installers, Claude and Chad, were fantastic. They finished well ahead of schedule, did excellent work on the floor and trim, and cleaned up well both inside and outside once the job was done. I would definitely recommend this company.... and the two installers!

Action Flooring was great for the upgrade and replacement of my floors due to a sewer backup. The service was excellent, from the showroom to the installation. Amazing the types of laminate that are available. The new laminate I selected has made a huge difference in the look and feel of my condo. The installation was professional and timely. The workmanship is excellent, with all the laminate panels correctly installed and level. When the baseboards were put back on the walls there were no gaps or spaces between the wall and laminate. Everything fit perfectly. I would highly recommend Action Flooring for any type of flooring installation. They are the best!

Action flooring was exceptional right from sales to closing. The installer was one of the best men we have come across in working with trades people(Tom). Price was comparable to other outlets but quality and getting job done when we needed it was perfect. We would highly recommend this outlet if you would like carpets and a job well done.

Wow! - All I can Say is wow...Very Professional and amazing. I had Hardwood, Laminate and Tile installed and truly the work was Quick and so nicely installed I told the installer that I don;t think I need baseboards! - Very Highly Recommended!

Emailed them for a quote to repair damaged floor done by one of our teams, came in much more reasonable than original contractor. Easy to deal with sales and installation team. Worked around our schedule for ease of mind.

There were quite a few delays with the installation affecting my ability to re-list my rental property as available by more than a month. These delays and the causes for them have since been addressed either directly by their team or by other arrangements. Due to the delays even post adjustments I can't leave a 5 star review but it no longer is justified by a 1 star review.

Extremely helpful sales staff with exceptional prices.

The fellow who came in to install our floor was punctual and ensured the job was done before he left. He took the time to explain things to me (the room wasn't straight) so there were no surprises at the end. I would recommend this company.

The absolute worst Customer Service I have ever encountered in my entire life!
I have been trying to make arrangements to have Action Flooring come to my house since May 10th to provide me with a quote and tell me what s wrong with my flooring.
I have recently had a contractor install LVP throughout my entire main floor and there are 4 spots which have pockets underneath the flooring making it very squishy to walk on - I m worried this will create an issue later on and the LVP seams will break/wrecking my floor.
I have sent Action Flooring pictures, videos of the floor bubbling/squishing and all the product information so they can be informed up front prior to coming and seeing what the problem is - we are both assuming an uneven subfloor through our conversations. May 10th all of this was provided... May 11th I received an email saying thanks for the information, I will get back to you shortly. Left 3 messages (May 14th, 15th, 16th) with no returned call. We finally get ahold of someone and ask to speak to a Manager, and we get an email saying someone will be there mid week - no Manager response. I call Thursday morning and leave a voicemail with no response and again Thursday afternoon. Finally on Friday, after including the Management Team on an email, we get a response that someone will be here Tuesday and they will pass on our contact information to their Quality Manager to arrange the time on Tuesday.
Today is Tuesday.... we call at 9:00 and get told to wait until lunch time and they will contact us with a time they will be here. At 1:30, we contact them and are now told we need to pay for a $300 consultation appointment before they will come.
Pay in advance a $300 fee for a company that hasn t returned our calls in two weeks!! You ve got to be kidding me?!

Absolutely disgusting - I ll be sure to let everyone I know, including all work friends and Contractors of our experience with Action Flooring - absolutely disgraceful. Wish we wouldn t have wasted two weeks with trying g to have this Company just show up!! Ridiculous. Needless to say, we will not be continuing our waste of time with Action Flooring.

Couldn t give less than 1-star, although they deserve less.

I had action flooring install carpeting in on one floor of my house and stairs. I had already picked out the carpeting before contacting the company (Nature's Carpet wool carpeting - it's awesome), so I didn't really need their help in selecting the type of carpet - I did go to their showroom, but only briefly. Salesperson that came to the site to do measurements was nice and knowledgeable about products, selecting underpad, etc. Emails and phone calls were promptly returned and dealt with. Installation was done over two days - installer was polite, showed up on time, took shoes off in house, asked permission to play his radio, etc. The carpet looks amazing! I would recommend this company to other people looking to get carpet installed.

The quality of product and the care of the installation were great. And we were very happy with the pricing we got and we shopped around a lot. While we did run into some issue with stock product Action flooring did work their best to make it right and minimize the issue. In the end how they handled the issues we faced gives me more confidence in the product and service they provide. I would give 5 except we did have those issues and so I don't think I can give 5 but it a highly recommended 4.

We were very impressed with the level of customer service and attention to detail Christine provided us.
It took us some time to decide on the correct samples, but we were very well taken care of.
We used Action for our Kitchen Reno in our condo and they did an outstanding job.
They completed the tile floor and back splash in the kitchen.
We were so happy with the work and value for money, we subsequently had our living and dining rooms converted to laminate.
Excellent installation!
Sometime later we had them replace all the carpet in the bedrooms and loft.
Again, great value for money, very good workmanship and timely installation.
They also completed a couple of repairs on the laminate previously installed, even though it was out of warranty.

I had several quotes from companies and I have to say how impressed I was with the professionalism of the staff at Action Flooring. Trish assisted me in the store, came to my home to measure the house up and take photos - was very thorough. Yves came to remove the old carpet and install the new carpet. Our staircase is a daunting circular 16 step staircase and I knew challenging for even the most skilled of carpet installers. Install excellent - followed a couple of weeks later by a quality control visit - great follow up. There is nothing that replaces great service in my mind and that is what this company is about. I would highly recommend to anyone.

We have used Action Flooring on our first home for all of our flooring and we were very happy with the outcome of the products and the installation, and when we needed flooring done for our new sun room they had the right products as well as the installation was perfect. WORST SERVICE, RUDE SALESPEOPLE. I went in to order flooring for my home. I walked through the store for half an hour, and watched a little group of employees talking and laughing it up at the front desk. When I went and asked for help, they all disbursed, and one blond girl told me she'd be with me shortly. About two minutes later I saw her get into a black Durango, and go for lunch! I walked into the back, and interrupted the same group that had been standing at the front counter, now standing at the rear overhead door smoking! I asked the group, again, for some help, and one younger gentleman annoyedly put out his cigarette and said, in the most perturbed tone of voice, "Fine, I'll do it.". By this point I was so annoyed at the complete lack of respect they entire staff had shown me that I just turned around and walked out. These people had to be the RUDEST, most UNPROFESSIONAL collective group of salespeople I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My business went elsewhere.

Action Flooring replaced some flooring at the Ronald McDonald House following a flood. It looks spectacular. Their representative Lauren Hunt is knowledgeable, friendly and available for help and advice.

My experience started well with a telephone conversation with a sales associate on September 20 regarding renos in a house we purchased. I was asked to provide measurements and pictures of the area which I emailed on Monday, September 25 (we don't have possession of the house yet and had to make arrangements with the seller over the weekend to take measurements). I hadn't received a confirmation of my email so I left a follow-up voicemail on Wednesday, September 27. I received no response until Wednesday, October 4 when I was finally emailed back and told that I could get an estimate by Friday if I still wanted. So unfortunately, another couple of days would be needed to even get the estimate together. As I hadn't heard from them for a week, I had decided to go ahead and book with another contractor. The online reviews are quite good - and the initial service I received was pleasant enough - but overall, my experience was disappointing.

Love Action Flooring! The team they have there strive to be the best and their work shows it. They are always professional and polite to talk to. Very informative on the differences of products and their estimates. Fair pricing for the products and services they provide. I have used them for multiple projects in two houses and a business. Action Flooring has installed carpet, vinyl plank, paper backed lino and sheet vinyl for me in various locations over the last few years. Chris St. John offered excellent customer service throughout the various flooring projects mentioned. The installation department has caused me the most anxiety. Although a few parts of my projects had to be redone the installation department always saw each project through to my satisfaction. They have good installers. In my experience one must specifically request them.

This is the first time I used Action Flooring and was delighted to come home to a great looking carpet. No issues at all. Exactly what was quoted and no surprises. I also recommend these guys to a friend and he said they were very helpful to him. Thank you Action Flooring.

We had Andrew from Action Flooring come to fix brand new flooring that was installed incorrectly from another renovation company. He was meticulous and took pride in his work. He arrived on time first thing in the morning each day, cleaned the work area and removed the garbage every day and stayed past 5pm to finish the job in as few days as possible to minimize the disruption the work caused. I highly recommend him.

The staff at action floor are extremely friendly and helpful. Not only did they help us pick out a few type of hardwood flooring style samples to take home to try them out with no pressure, no time line to decide. Once it was decided they were prompt, courtesy and professional. The installation crew was meticulous and fast.

Love my new ceramic tile from Action Flooring! Lauren was very helpful measuring space and choosing style. Installers did a very good job, especially given nothing is level or square in this house. When I wasn't satisfied with how two spots turned out, installers came back to fix at no charge.

I've had the opportunity to work with two professionals from Action Floors - Marek (Action Flooring) and Jeanine (Design Abilities). Marek was helpful and the hardwood we ordered was delivered and installed when promised. (Installers Constantine and his wife were wonderful - this is the second time we have used them).
Jeanine from Design Abilities was the very personification of patience and good humour as she helped my husband and I navigate through the sometimes overwhelming choices in window treatments. The job was finished on time as promised and everything looks great. Thanks to all of you!

Found same brand same tile for half the price

We had narrowed it down to 3 different stores (2 that offered free delivery) but we decided to pick Action Flooring because of the initial customer service. Unfortunately that service does not remain the same after you hand over your money! We are still waiting for our floors after being told 2 different arrival dates. We were told 10 days initially and it s been over a month!! Only to call them for follow up 3 times in the last week, and not receive a call back. Call me, be honest!! Communication is poor, I do not feel like they value our business. I ve asked twice to have it escalated to a manger.. and still no call. I m very disappointed we didn t go in another direction!!

I called to check some pricing and availability on some flooring. When the girl said all she had was a porcelain tile from the brand I wanted, all I said was "oh no it's vinyl" and that point she became very rude and hung up on me. I'll make sure my company never orders anything from such rude employees.

Sales staff very helpful. Showroom was well stocked - unfortunately neither of our tile selections were available but they were great in helping find alternatives. Installation of tiles and flooring was excellent.

We are so incredibly happy so far with the services we have received from Action Flooring. First of all, we d like to say how excellent the service has been from the sales and design person, Brayann. Her expertise in helping us choose our flooring has been so appreciated. Part one has been completed with our carpet, by Mo and his brother Nathan. This company seems to be very disorganized. I was told that they needed 2 days notice to install, it ended up being 2 weeks. This after my flooring choice was somehow sold off before I was ready for it, even though my 70% downpayment had already been processed. Instead of sending someone to me to address the situation, they expected me to cancel other appointments to straighten the situation out at their office. Turns out my floor under the carpet was not suitable for the new choice, so, again, instead of sending someone, I had to go pick something else. They supposedly gave me a discount, but would not disclose how or where, apparently only the computer knows. Will not be recommending them to anyone.

Lauren was excellent-- so professional. I was listened to and her service was fast and efficient!! The installers came the day they were suppose to and did a great job. I am very satisfied.

We used action flooring to replace the floors in our condo. Our sales rep Randi was great and gave us lots of options and samples to take home and try and she managed to work within our budget. The product arrived quickly and the installers were here within 2 weeks to install it. The installers we had were amazing as well...super friendly and took so much time and did an amazing job. Even with all the baseboards and fiddly bits ( we had a lot of weird angles) and it looks great!
The final bill arrived and it was for the original amount quoted with no added surprises...anyone looking for a good flooring place definitely go here!

We recently experienced a major water accident in our home and had to replace the hardwood and laminate flooring. The experience working with Action Flooring from start to finish has been great. Terry was the lead on our floors and Lauren shared her expertise in helping us make decisions around what would be the best option. We even were able to negotiate to have some additional work done.

The tear out and install were done quickly and efficiently and the installers always tidied up after themselves.

However, after posting my review here, the owner was in touch with me wanting to make things right, and was professional in apologizing for my experience. He was good about following up to ensure loose ends were tied and in the end I can say that my experience was much more pleasant.

I d like to thank Lauren from Action Flooring for her help in getting me the perfect floor. I needed a very specific list of things to be met, and her recommended floor was spot on. I wanted a vinyl plank that was easy to install, could be used in kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room, was very light color, and looked like marble, and needed high rating for acoustic transmission as it was for an apt condo. We had been to several stores looking for something suitable to no avail. When my wife showed up to look at the selection at Action Flooring, the one Lauren suggested was exactly what Mary had spotted as well, and as soon as I saw it I knew it was the one. I loved it so much I got enough for my house too.
The warehouse guys were super helpful too when I arrived to pick it up, and helped me load it into my car. Thank you Lauren and Action Flooring for the great product.

I picked out the carpet and she penciled the dates in for me. I called her Tuesday to follow up, left her a message and she didn't return my call. Called Wednesday at noon and asked her if she got my voicemail which she said she didn't get. I told her that another place came in lower and asked her if she could help me save some money which she said she could do no problem. I asked her to resend me the quote and let me know if we were still good for the dates we discussed on Saturday. She tells me that her tile guy is going on vacation in the next few days so they can't help me on the tile but didn't explain why this information wasn't given to me a few days earlier. She said she'd send the revised quote by 1pm. 4pm, I call the office and she says she sent it so I ask her to email it again as I haven't gotten it yet. She says she'll do it right away which I never got. 7:30 at night, I text her, giving her my email and tell her I still don't have the revised quote and i'm running out of time. I hear nothing from her so I call the office on Thursday morning and ask to speak to the sales manager, the lady asks what it's regarding so I tell her Randi won't call or email me back. I sit on hold for over 10 minutes and then get told that Randi will be in the office after 1pm and she'll send the revised quote. I did get it but i'm also told they can't do anything on the price and now the dates Randi told me they could get started are no longer available. I ask what dates I can now have and the only response was Randi saying she's out of the office for the week and asked her co-worker to give me dates. That was 1 week ago and not a single person has bothered to give me dates when they can come and do the work. They're rude when you call, can't be bothered to stop chatting about what they did the night before when you walk in and never return your calls and emails. Total b.s. to deal with this company and even worse was Randi, terrible communication and a liar! I'll never deal with them again, even if they were the last flooring place in the city!

Great place. I deal with Lauren hunt, and i feel comfortable recommending her to all my client, not only that but my friends and family. she is extremely knowledgeable in her field, and offers good solid suggestions. Action Flooring has a wonderful selection to chose from and the right people to narrow it down. Thanks Lauren for making my experience with action flooring enjoyable.

No updated invoice at all until seeing the charge on the pre-authorized credit card after 5 days. Extremely rude accountants yelled at me on the call because of their own calculation mistakes without any apology. Quite a lot hidden charges on two infill projects with ActionFlooring. Absolutely it is an over-rated flooring company - Not recommend for customers or builders.

Walked in on a whim looking for flooring for our house. The staff were all nice and friendly. Chris was our salesperson and he was great! He made sure we were informed on our flooring choices, and went over and above to get us the perfect flooring for our home. If you're looking for flooring, don't pass this place up.
