I can t say enough about how impressed I am with this company. From the initial contact with the woman on the phone who quickly diagnosed my issue and knew what the best course of action was given my situation, to our installer who came over early on a Saturday for me. Both were so efficient and professional, but also personable. I cannot recall ever being as impressed with someone s organization and thorough efficiency as I was when he was here. I am a guy that likes to see machinery that works efficiently and like the most efficient machine I was in awe of how he installed my new opener. Just recently our Serco Industrial HVLS fans model under Warehouse B (Storage Section) shut down for no reason. Thankfully Action Automatic Door and Gate is 24/7 available. Their team of technicians check-up, and fixed our HVLS fans in a jiffy. Grateful for their quick action and efficient work.

So far the worst company I have dealt with dealing with any of our home repairs. Scheduling the initial repair was quick and easy. They showed up early on the day they were supposed to. That is where it all went down hill. First they did not carry the springs for the door and tried to get me to pay for more parts. Then he said he could order the spring but didn't know when they could get back to fix it and i had to give them half down to order the parts. Several days later got the call that they wanted to come by with no notice to fix it, but i didn't get to the phone. when I called back they said he went somewhere else. she said she would keep me posted. she never called back. The next day another surprise call as i was out with the family. They were wanting to come with no notice once again. I tried to set up a day and time and, she said ill call you back. Of course no call back. I called today and she acted like my work schedule was was a problem. I asked her to set up a day and time so I could be there and ready when they were coming. She said "we cant do that. In our business our technicians might be at a location for just an hour, and we have to fit you in! So for now it is Friday, they don't work weekends, they have my money and she says she will call Tuesday to see if you answer. I will let ya know how that goes. But do not, I repeat DO NOT! use this service unless you want to be screwed around with!

Fantastic company. Called last month to get a new garage door opener installed and talked to Annette in sales. Told her what I was looking for and she gave me a price for the opener and installation. I then asked her if I need to go up on the size open and she told me there was no need to get the extra hp motor unless I just wanted to do so. It is so nice not to be upsold on something these days when she could have done so seeing as I was thinking I needed to get a bigger hp opener. Jesus came out as promised by the time I was told and did a fantastic job. Took only an hour and a half and was done and cleaned up. Jesus showed me all of the feature of the opener and was done. Would definitely recommend and use them again for all of my garage door needs.

another company told us we needed a new garage door opener. Miguel showed up to replace it and instead put on new rollers and said opener was fine. His honesty and work ethic is above the rest and a rare find these days. The door works perfect and has never been quieter. I will never call another company again and hope Miguel does all my service. He is a keeper.

my girlfriends garage door had issues...from a gap in one corner to unreliable opening/closing and down to one, finicky, remote. I called action automatic door & gate and the first refreshing thing i noticed was the hip, customized telephone attendant system which allowed me to quickly zero in on the right department for repairs I got a technician out the very next day. Moises Alvarado was polite, professional and actually engaging as he went thru the garage door from top to bottom. he replaced the cables, one of which was badly frayed, rehung the door to get rid of the gap, adjusted the sensors and programmed 3 new remotes...all the while engaging in great conversation about his time in the military and other subjects of interest.

i highly recommend this company to anyone needing quick and expert work on their garage door.

Had to replace garage doors. It did take a while to get the doors from the manufacturer due to COVID but Annette was great to work with. Helped me select the right doors and colors for my house. The installers were professional and thorough in demonstrating how to use everything. The garage was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. I highly recommend this company. quality work and quality products.

They called ahead and were able to arrive 2 hours earlier than original plan!! Made repairs to damage from hurricane Irma, got door working again much smoother than it had even before Irma. Service man Jose was fast, efficient, very knowledgeable and competent. Very fast response from Action Automatic Door & Gate!!! We have still not received a call back from the other company we had contacted previously.

I own a company that currently leases 10 warehouses in the Cape and Ft Myers. All with Commercial Overhead Doors. I needed a quote to add brushes on 3 commercial overhead doors to seal them. I called twice and left 2 messages the week of 8/19. Never even received a return call from the commercial department. 8/26 I called 3rd time and spoke to Evette, customer service representative in commercial division who tried to reach "Greg", one of two, neither available. She said she could set up an appointment for an estimator to come out for $150.00, 5 working days later, 8/30 with nothing sooner. She seemed annoyed that she had to set up another account and "add all new account information" in order to schedule an appointment since my company name at that location had changed. The entire conversation just felt uncomfortable making a generally poor experience worse. I was getting 3 quotes, received 2 from Overhead Door and a referral from Precision Door, both came out to do free estimates within 48 hours. Overhead Door quoted $1,300 and could complete by 8/30. I immediately cancelled my $150 appointment with Action and scheduled Overhead Door. Dory the talking door needs to work on their customer service or something.

I called in for a broken spring and they were able to send someone out the same day. Miguel G came out and accessed the door, I also asked about changing the opener since we were planning on doing that soon anyway. Miguel took the time to explain all the features of the new opener, got the spring changed, opener installed, changed the rollers, installed an external keypad, and even helped program the car openers and the cellphone app for the new system all in record time.

Miguel even put in the extra effort to make sure everything was working perfectly, he noticed the manual lock was slightly misaligned causing some jittering as the door was going up and down, so he even moved that to a better position so the door hardly makes a sound now.

Extremely satisfied with the work performed and at a reasonable price.

The installation turned an otherwise ok experience into a very unpleasant one. If you like your garage door cockeyed you will be happy

He arrived as promised, diagnosed the garage door problem immediately, fixed it even faster, left no trash behind and he was informative, professional and polite throughout the repair. Fast response time as I just called late yesterday and the price was right. I highly recommend Action Automatic Door & Gate.

I think $130 an hour for labor is way out of line. Also, we were given an appt. from 11-2. The guy showed up at 3 without an apology or explanation. When I told him he was an hour late, his reply was, "Do you want me to go or stay?" Not the kind of reply that gets 5 stars.
Why can't your tech call when he is running late as other contractors do? Our time is as valuable as his.

This morning, I went to leave for work and my garage door would not open, discovered the coil broke. I was referred to this company by my co-worker... I noticed my garage door opener making a "popping" sound when it opened and closed. I called Action Door and Hasan was dispatched to evaluate and resolve the problem. My garage door is about 15 years old, and Hasan could have easily convinced me to purchase a new door opener, however he diagnosed the problem as a failing gear and sprocket. Since all was working well except this one part, Hasan recommended a repair instead of replacement. The faulty part was replaced, the opener adjusted and lubricated, and now my door opener works better than it has for years.

My garage door wasn t working, I called Action Automatic Door and had Miguel call me to confirm a time an hour or so after my call. They noticed the Spring was missing and also that my rollers were old and off balance. Sure I spent a little more than I had planned on but there was no pressure on me to do any other work. My garage door is quieter than ever and they did superior work and were finished within hours after my call and had my receipt and warranty of work emailed to me immediately. Recommend using this company over anyone else. Great Service

Several weeks ago I had a technician come out to give us a estimate for installing a screen over our garage door. I hadn t heard from them so I called their number to find out when it would be installed. A man on the other end of the phone asked me who came out to measure and I told him I hadn t any idea who it was. He proceeded to tell me in order to find out the information I would have to have the name of who came out and measured our garage door. Would have thought he could have taken my name and address down to look it up. He told me that the installation would depend on if they had that screen in stock or if they would have to order it. If the guy gave me a copy of the order I cannot find it. I could barely understand him as I believe he was Hispanic plus I m hard of hearing & wear hearing aides. He told me the technician should give me a call for an appointment to install the screen. But my disappointment is if I give you my name & address & phone number wouldn t you think with the technology we have today you could pull my information up? Very poor customer service. Can t rate the work yet as it has t been done..David Stein

Big thanks to Liz in service scheduling & Migel service technician. We had a spring break on Wednesday night. I called for service Thursday am but was told you were booked up & 1st available appt would be Monday afternoon. I asked to be put on list if cancellation came up as we live 5 mins from Action. I wasn't hopeful knowing how booked up service tech's were Thursday & Friday. But when I called Friday to provide another phone# to reach me today I explained to Liz I was stuck not able to get my vehicle out of garage. Liz called me back around 10 am today thst they could get service tech out this afternoon. I was thrilled the thought of bring stuck all weekend was depressing. Migel called 20 mins prior to arriving & before 2pm new spring installed. Thanks so much. We've used action for years & will continue to use them. They are customer service oriented & always friendly & professional. I highly recommend.

Called for service on my 2 year old keypad (out of warranty). Miguel Guzman showed up two days later and he was GREAT. He checked the keypad and battery and, yes, I needed a new keypad. He installed the new keypad and then checked out the rest of my 2-door installation. He oiled and straightened out the tracks that shifted over the years. He checked the back-up batteries and made some adjustments to a few other connected items. He noticed that I did not have my car transmitters working effectively and fixed that for two cars. Then, he started the same process on the second door opener, the one that came with the house 15 years ago. He explained that contractor grade openers typically don't work that long and that I was lucky. He was so good and informative that I decided to have him put in a new second door opener while he was here under the existing service call. He and his partner installed a new opener and wall mount pad quickly. All work was neat and professional. Then, he did some coordination between the units and my car transmitters so that either car can open either door. Miguel must have done about 10 other useful things that I just can't remember at this time. Miguel needed no prodding. He anticipated and fulfilled my garage door needs before I knew what I needed. I could get very used to this level of service. Thank you, Action Garage Door, for sending Miguel to repair my garage door.

We had our garage door serviced due to it squeaking.Fort Myers automatic gate repair came out and serviced the door in an appropriate time.The job was completed to our satisfaction. However,the charge was pricey.I would have to shop around for a better price.The service was good though.

Action Automatic Door and Gate is fantastic. I ordered a new garage door and they came out today to remove the old one and install the new one. The scheduling was timely, they arrived as promised, even called me 15 minutes prior of showing up.

The two technicians that did the install greeted me and got right to it. I watched them nearly the entire time and was amazed at how talented they were and how the two on them worked together.

The end product turned out perfect. The Clopay door looks great and is well made. And finally, the installation team did an outstanding job!!!

We called Action Automatic Door & Gate this morning when we couldn't get our garage door open, neither automatically nor manually. Both of us had appointments to get to in our cars. They had a technician named Juan here within about 30 to 40 minutes. He was WONDERFUL! Very professional and skilled. He was able to to open the door manually immediately and I was only 15 minutes late for my meeting. Of course, he fixed the problem by replacing the springs, etc. Cost was reasonable for the excellent and prompt service we received.

I had written review prior to this one with Actions Customer Service as I spoke to a gentleman that told me he needed the name of the tech before he could find my information. I received a call from Annette who wrote up my order apologizing the for the information that was given to me by the gentleman. She told me hats not the way she wanted her customers treated. She went ahead and schedule our installation for 08/31/20.
After the phone call from Annette her boss asked her if we were her customers and she told him, yes. He told Annette to call me back and asked if they could move us up to have the installation on 08/20/20 because of what happened. Today on 08/20/20 the installers came and did a beautiful job on our screen that covers the garage door. Installers were very polite and did an outstanding job. Would highly recommend Action Doors. Also a great price.

Garage door spring broke after business hours. I called and left a message for a call back for the next morning. Received the call back and scheduled the repair for the same day. Jim Cote did a very thorough service today on our garage door and opener. He found a leaky corroded battery in the opener. I do not remember any service tech in the past servicing the opener in the area of the battery.

Terrific customer service - My door needed repair and i forgot to call and noticed that they were at my neighbors house. I called the office and they sent the repair person over even though he was scheduled for other stops the rest of the day. He repaired my door and was quick, thorough and knowledgeable. Pleasure doing business with them.

Excellent service at reasonable cost. I called on the weekend, when they are not open, and left a message for a non-emergency replacement of my garage door springs. Monday morning 7:30 they called me back. By 10am Monday morning Juan C showed up and did a great job. Very satisfied customer.

I went into the store today to get a specific part i needed for my garage. They were recommended by a department store that did not carry the part. While i didn't know what i was talking about, he was able to figure it out and find the part for me. He was amazing at explain the part in easier terms and didn't charge me for the small part. I m very disappointed, not in the work they did but the work they DIDN T do. I was ready to close the deal when they came and measured 2.5 weeks ago but still not received an estimate. Called Action Automatic Door and Gate to purchase and get installed an 8557W Lift Master garage door opener. The lady who answered my call
provided an estimate over the phone and assisted with the selection of the best unit for my application. Installation was offered the next morning.
The serviceman arrived right on time as promised. He was very careful with the install leading to a very neat installation. All of the garbage
was sorted for recycling and removed in his truck. He took time to show me how to put in the passwords and set up the Smart Control Panel. The bill was exactly as quoted. Everything works great I was delighted with the service provided.
