Charged twice for the same subscription. No answer on the contact form. Disgusting customer service. Also still waiting for the free gift it's been 6 months. Wanting to cancel but getting no answers.

Whilst the magazines themselves are good, have subscribed to let's knit twice now & both times have had to chase for gift that is supposed to come with subscription, am still waiting for 2nd one well after subscription has finished as well as 2 issues that never arrived, if you are going to charge people for a product you are legally obliged to supply the goods or refund the monies paid. On the 5 occasions I have contacted Aceville, have only ever had a reply once, twitter & facebook get you nowhere you just get told to email or phone in. Will not be subscribing again.

Renewed by subscription and twice had to phone up as still didn't receive my Natural Health Magazine in time and no free gift either. I understood from the 1st call that there was an issue with direct debit but then it happened again and I had to ring up and they said it was ok now but there was a problem with the free gift coming out as they had to be sent back to Warehouse and now going into 3rd time and still not received magazine sick of chasing it now and to be honest I am not going to phone just cancel the subscription - big disappointment and I felt the customer service really wasn't there when I phoned either. Great shame as have been a subscriber to Natural Health for years - time for a change I suppose !

False advertising at its best ! .. bought magazine...

False advertising at its best ! .. bought magazine on premise of a free 6-shelf greenhouse, lucky dip of veg seeds and a propagater .. guess what none in stock which we only found out a month later .. promised a smaller greenhouse, received a Johnson's little Gardner my first mini greenhouse, for a 5 year old .. needless to say, cancelled subscription and got a full refund ..

It s a shame I can t give no stars! This company is a disgrace. I subscribed to a magazine 5 months ago because it looked like a good deal and the free gift was an added incentive. They failed to communicate a delay in the dispatch of the free gift and have now sent a completely one that is of poor quality and completely useless. They also failed to inform me that different issues would be sent and not the ones ordered. I would not recommend subscribing to their magazines as they do not follow through on any promises.

Placed an order and paid and after nearly 3 weeks nothing had arrived, meanwhile I was recieving a relentless amount of marketing emails from them since placing the order! I went to be website to be met with a "Stock take" message saying orders were not being sent out until after that date...but my order was placed 2 full weeks before the stock taking date. I called and eventually got through to be told my order was still at the warehouse and was told to wait, waited another 2 weeks, emailed and was told my order would be with me within the week. No apology! Needless to say it never turned up, opened a case with PayPal and without so much as a word of sorry just got a refund. Terrible experience. I believe they are also responsible for Crafts Beautiful subscriptions, which I have had nothing but hassle with in the past. Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere

A shocking company that has refused to help one of...

A shocking company that has refused to help one of its previous staff that recently left the company to better themselves, after two long years working full time, by not rehiring them to furlough them in these unprecedented times (COVID 19) because they obviously cant be bothered to do the paper work. They obviously do not care about anything other than themselves and profits as the employee in questions wife is also a health care worker! POOR ETHICS AND BEHAVIOUR DO NOT USE.

Cannot unsubscribe from their mailing list. I've pressed the button on every email for over a month now, always get the 'sad to see you go, but you are now unsubscribed' message and then more emails within a few days. If nothing else, the fact that something that should be automated doesn't work at all, it would definitely put me off sending them any money. Then of course I come here to complain and find many more complaints from others who have paid but don't get their magazines so I guess that makes me one of the lucky ones.

I could not report 0 stars. I purchased Sew Magagine in June 2019. I received 2 issues as of April 2020. I contacted them and all they said was they were cancelling my subscription as of June 2020. I requested a refund, I should not have had to REQUEST, in April because I should not pay for year subscription and only rec 2 issue. Needless to say, I am still waiting on my refund or a response about the status of discussed refund. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Shocking company full of broken promises. I ordered let s knit magazine 3 months ago. I contacted them to say I hadn t received last months issue 4 times and each time I was told that a copy would be sent to me asap. I am still waiting. I will not use this company again as there are so many others out there.
