This is one of the best companies I have had the pleasure of working for.

I am a client of theirs right now, but they are dropping me July 7 because they are not family oriented my situation is unique I m confined to a wheelchair and have serval palsy and I need assistance with all physical thing and I am a single mother of four beautiful children and they watch the children and I to be separated they would care for me but they wouldn t assist me anymore with going out in the community with the children and laundry and housework and all of that stuff In the beginning it was fine and they knew my entire story and my life before I started with them I have been with Accra For 3 years Then some drama happened with one of my PCs and they sent me a letter and said they are no longer my company but I think it s a bunch of baloney that a mother has to be separated from her children in order to get care. I wasn t asking for them to come baby sit my children I was asking for assistance if I needed it. That s what I thought they were there for to make my life better and easier and not sit there telling me that I have to stop being a mother and I cannot take my children out and about I am extremely proud and active I love being a mom! If I was physically able I would be doing all of these things by myself anyway so I don t see the problem there wasn t a problem for three years up until just a couple days ago like I had said. I have enough to deal with I should not have to deal with this too I deserve to have a life like everyone else and to live it with my children around and I deserve to have Quality of life as well. That s what they should be all about without the clients they would not be in business. Sorry everybody needs to know.

Very unprofessional. Still reeling at the negative letter they sent out to families & staff about the state hourly pay rate increases, which should have been good news, but they were upset about the short notice. Unbelievable. If you re considering using Accra Care, be prepared for archaic pen to paper time sheets and methods of submitting them. Online system won t be up and going till next year. They are very strict and you WILL NOT BE PAID if you make even the slightest error or something is unreadable due to the scan app they require to be used. They use ADP for payroll and I was sent back and forth between companies for 4 hours one day trying to get a paper copy mailed to me. Use Lifeworks or any other. Trust me.

Very unprofessional. I got discharged and they refused to tell me why. I never got any phone calls returned from an RN, payroll, or HR. I've gotten hung up on a few times. Worst company I have ever worked for. They have 3 different pay rates and I was told at the beginning of my employment it was 1 payrate at $15. It ended up being $2 less. I was told 3 different parades till they agreed on one, 3 different rates for different services. Had to fill out 3 different time sheets and most of the time they said I filled them out wrong so I didn't get paid on payday. Very unorganized.

Caring professionals providing badly needed in-home services for vulnerable adults and the elderly. It is tough work navigating both client needs and matching them with home care professionals. The management and the nurses sincerely want to make a positive difference in people's lives.

Excellent place to work, The Company is very professional, and efficient. I ve been working with them for 1 yr, and not once had any problems. Thank you Accra, I really do appreciate it

This company does not care about its clients or its employees. The positive reviews are from office workers and not clients, PCAs or Homemakers. If you are looking for PCA services I strongly urge you to choose a different company. I have terminal cancer and need a lot of care. I see how the PCAs are treated as well and it is not good. Low pay and any excuse to not pay on time. Please, choose a better company.

I used to be a client for them, while I was having some very debilitating mental health issues, and they are just wonderful people. After seeing someone else post a bad review, I wanted to post a positive one that will tell you about my experience. The people who work here are trying to help people get help from people they trust. My sister was my PCA and they helped me stay in my home. After I got better, and didn't need their services anymore, I still receive cards and letters from them, ensuring I am still doing well. This company is a good company.

- Worst PCA company ive ever worked with. very unprofessional, Im employed with these guys now. (looking for another company) These guys left my client in the bed for 3 days!! If i could leave no stars i would!

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR DISABLED CHILD!!!

Just in the beginning process And don t like that I have to fill out my application for multiple clients. Just a mess to figure out!! Other then that I feel like it might be fine.

Zero stars. Terrible place to work. Dysfunctional and management has no sense of direction or how to gauge efficiency. Inconsistencies in best practice across the board. If you like a training process that is similar to playing the telephone game then this is the place for you! The intake rate is so high that it leaves their employees drowning in higher and higher volumes work with the same minimal pay, no incentives for individuals who go above and beyond and take on larger workloads. No overtime available, yet extremely understaffed and management is flooded with emails and takes them way too long for items to be addressed and/or completed. They unlawfully terminated my employment claiming that I refused to do my job responsibilities when all I asked was for a job role re-evaluation. Then they fabricated numerous statements to the state of MN that made me ineligible for unemployment. I filed an appeal and no one was willing to appear as a witness on behalf out of fear they too would be let go. This place is lucky I unfortunately cannot afford a lawyer because I would honestly take them to court for all the stuff they pulled.
