Acacia Hotel Review

BIG thanks to Marc Punzalan for making a way to grand our special requests for our 2-day classroom training in Acacia Hotel. Everyone is accommodating and helpful. The place is great but it would be a lot better if the restroom has a bidet since a number of participants has mentioned it to me. The food is excellent we couldn't ask for a better menu (love the Japanese food). Kudos to all and I also have to commend John Rey and Sir Adolfo for being so patient and helpful with us!! Love the team. Looking forward to working with you guys again. :)

As a traveller for a living, I can say that this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.
The rooms are beautiful, spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable.
Everything is extremely clean and tidy.

Plus, the service is excelent, from the maintenance (I needed something fixed in my bathroom and the staff were very prompt and efficient), to the restaurant and the room service.

The location is very good in Manila. It has two shopping centres nearby and a supermarket. Plus another facilities (inside and around the hotel), like cosmetics, massage, hair salon.

We recommend a variety of breakfast. Room is normal level in this class

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The room was relatively high tech and clean.

We were not able to use the 15F lounge as it was closed due to an on-going seminar which they prohibited for smokers. We were supposed to have some picture taking of the view and venue. This made us disappointed!

Nice hotel in a good neighbourhood for shopping and a wide variety of food. Above average amenities, food and spa. A pleasant staff that makes you feel comfortable and welcome.

Good, clean, friendly staffs.
Only setback is the breakfast not so various choice as it looks.

The shower has NO hot water, the tap is very slow like dripping water. You need to get your act together and upgrade and don't just suck guest's money and not doing anything. I would not come back to stay at this conditions

Good location. Plenty of choices for food & shopping.

Room is big and standard design. Lots of TV channels.
Internet speed is slow and WiFi connection sometimes doesn't work properly

The people and how you have trained them and how they care for us (the guests) is great...

Breakfast included with the room is amazing value...

Acacia exceed my expectation overall my stay was great

I just want to highlight something with regards to the following
1. Safety:
- in our room that we're into, inside hinge to hold/prevent the door from opening fully was missing. That mechanism is very essential for safety reason.

2. Utilities:
- Faucet in the bath tub comes out slowly. Not sure if that's normal. we have to wait for hours to use it.

Execellent hotel with extremely sweet staff and a great location in Manilla. Great food and a more than decent gym and pool. My fav hotel in the Philippines.

It was wonderful. I enjoyed staying there with the massage and a glass of beer just outside the hotel in the street just like Rodeo street.

4 modern hotel along commerce avenue, near gate of Alabang village. Good place to stay and dine.

Great hotel. This hotel offers beautifully designed rooms with very comfortable beds (perfect for staycations). The food is also superb. The stay here is a bit pricey for a regular salaryman like me though but I would still come back here someday. Oh by before I forget... the pool is a must try.

It's worth the money. The service and hotel itself is stellar. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

checking in do take a lot of time, maybe we can speed up the process? free valet service was high appreciated. shower line on the tub was damaged, room 610 kindly check. i suggest giving two access card if you have 2 guest or more you need card to access the elevators right? overall my stay was pleasant on your hotel.

I love how the staff are very welcoming. The room is great and I love how it represents the whole hotel. The breakfast buffet is also great and would love to recommend to all breakfast persons put there.

We stayed at Acacia Hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday. The services were excellent, cleanliness was recommendable , food was great, overall our stay was perfect , my kids love this hotel , we will surely go back to Acacia Hotel for another memorable experience...Good job for the crews of this hotel!!

We never stayed at Acacia Hotel. I sent an email of room reservation cancellation before the due date (Sept 19; before 3pm) And one of the Reservations officer replied w/ just a link and was directed to the Acacia Site stating that I need to send a cancellation. I cannot access the site due to its desktop requirement. I was using only my phone for the reservation and email thread. Improve your service, if clients can book using mobile site then cancellation / modification can also be accessed using mobile site. THIS IS VERY INCONVENIENT! And now you re asking for my survey? THE RESERVATION WAS UNDER MY WIFE; Bugarin

it was nice but when it comes to the elevator people cannot expect to wait too long. button are synchronous for all 3-4 bin and when one is open there is no chance for the other rider to expect the next bin to reach them

Between 5 to 10 min to wait for the elevator (only 2 elevators available).
Access to breakfast very difficult: we spend time for nothing (just to write the name, room number and signature). Because of that sometimes there is a queue of 5 minutes or more.

Perfect for business stay. Wide selection of breakfast and good service even eventhough it's packed during the peak hour before work at 7am. Attends you to your seat and serves you coffee/tea.

My all time favorite corporate hotel when come to PH.

Attended an event at 16th floor. The place is nice and clean, friendly staff. The view was nice, too. The lobby was amazing. The parking entrance/exit was too steep though and so many blind corners with narrow passage way so be careful.

Nice place. The staff are kind and very accomodating.

Bidet in the restroom and the shower area is leaking. Very dangerous because it is very slippery.

Most of the cable channels are not available. Then the following day, cable is actually not working.

Wifi is also quite slow.

However, we love the room and the room amenities. With available HDMI / USB connections. Hotel staff are very friendly and polite. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel, staff are accommodating, we celebrated our high school 20th reunion here. Food was delicious. Adequate parking.

We asked for assistance at 2 AM to open our luggage (the digital lock malfunctioned), the person on duty at the help desk immediately sent a personnel to help us. Thanks guys..

The staff are very nice and accommodating. The hotel facilities are also very good. Buffet can still be better.

1. The events said it was not possible for a u-shaped set up in the hall, but when we checked, the set up is possible and we even had it the 2nd day.
2. Our baggage took sooo long before it was brought to the hall during the first day.
3. The AM snack (quiche) is too salty.
4. The projector was not checked prior to the event because it was defective (lamp replacement). We raised it to the assigned AV-tech and he said it was normal but it continues to flicker so we just used our own back up projector. The next day, the projector was replaced.
5. They are careless when sending emails and does not proof-read first. We had several revisions on the agreed arrangements and SOA with Sales/ Finance regarding the complimentary room. They even addressed our GM as "Ms." several times.
6. The parking area is not satisfying.

Commendable:

1. They gave welcome desserts in our rooms.
2. They upgraded 5 rooms.
3. The servers in our function room was helpful.

The hotel has a lot of golf tourists in Korea .. Breakfast is good and service is good.

The grandeur of the lobby is very welcoming to clients.

F&B was only acceptable at best...breakfast buffet was far from the high quality of the hotel services and facilities....very disappointing.

A LOT OF NOISE UNTIL 2 am in the corridor fo the level 4 , even the discussion with your management. And not hot water during 3 days.

You need to ensure that rooms are available by 3 pm check-in time. We appreciate the 1 pm late check-out time, though.
Food selection at breakfast buffet is very good. But the entrance is a bit cramped when people line up.
Staff are very courteous and smiling all the time, which is very good. Housekeeping and operator hotline sometimes doesn't pick-up, though.
Views from the rooms are great.

Be wary with their buffet. Me and my relatives had the evening buffet for dinner. Everything went well until later that night, my stomach didn't feel good. I then found out the next morning that most of my relatives had an upset stomach as well. Some went to go get the breakfast buffet, and the food from last night was still there.

Instead of the weekend being a nice get together for the family, we hung out in the hotel room, trying to relieve the pain. I hope the hotel does something about this.

Would have been excellent for service except we were kept waiting for 2 and a half hours for check in for nothing. Reception told us to wait for maybe a half an hour to an hour for a connecting room, but if we want she can just give us 2 separate rooms at level 10 if we want to check in right away. We opted to wait for the connecting room but 2 and half hours later when we finally checked in it was still not a connecting room. So basically we waited for nothing.

Very spacious rooms. Great service. Love the quiet location.

The Problem was the drainage and your attitude. First night, we want use bath tub, so we cleaned. But water got stock. I called and asked help but we waited almost an hour. While waiting, we found out that the drainage on the floor was stocked as well. The funny thing was I had not heard any apology from you. Anyway, somebody came and did something. Water could drain but not perfectly.

Second night, we tried bath tub again but it was stocked again. I was furious and called again. Operator said she will send somebody again. another 30 min.. While waiting again I just tried shower booth. BUT WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!!!!!!!! there was a DIRT falling down from the Shower and the drainage in th booth also stocked!!!!!! I cannot express wht to say. I called and called .Nobody came and called again but nobody answered. so I called information and explained what is going on the room and I asked manager to come.
Somebody came and it was not manager but the engineer. (It took 40 min+)
After Engineer reported the status, manager showed up. simple apology. and he asked me if i want change the room. it was 1 AM and my daughter was sleeping.

It s too long to explain one by one. it was really terrible stay and it was totally not worth staying .

Except for the swimming pool which exudes too much chlorine.

Everything is amazing, we enjoyed the day/night stay. Hotel staffs are very friendly. From the lobby, the bellboy, the receptionist everyone is having the filipino hospitality demeanor. The only problem that we encountered on our stay is the leak on the bath tub and the shower area. Please check Room 1209. But above it all the stay is amazing in your hotel. This is my hubbys birthday treat and im sure he enjoyed it much. We did not swim that much due to typhoon usman. Thank you and Keep up!

The Maitre dhotel at Acaci and head waiter Rico who oversaw our event, and their respective staffs, provided impeccable service and smiles

Absolutely fantastic. Rate this as number one place to stay while in Manila. Will definitely go there again and suggest and recommend this place to everyone. The people here are superb and extremely professional as well as friendly and courteous. Clean and extremely comfortable rooms with beautiful ambience.

Front desk, Rooms and Housekeeping are in very good shape in terms of guest satisfaction. The breakfast buffet however, has lot of rooms to improve. Out of ten plates I took from the shelves, only one is considered clean. I found three plates with dried veggies stucked on it, three are scattered dried cheese around the edge the others have markings of curry everywhere. I hope the management will take this feedback more serious as it concerns health issues.

Rooms are nicely cleaned and are an ok standard. The bathroom needs renovating as you can tell its age. The breakfast area is large and quality of food is good.

Be wary if you own a car. They don't provide enough parking slots for the people checked in the hotel. We were forced to avail of the valet service so they can park the car outside.

Just some concerns during our stay... Our luggages were delivered to our room, 45 minutes delayed. Followed up 3 times. The shuttle from the mall didn't arrive on time, waited for 30 minutes. If this is always the case, I hope we were informed of the waiting time.

Staff couldn't do more to help and hotel was to high standard

Located opposite McD and Jollibee, nearby to Starbucks and Neil's Kitchen and some pubs nearby, this is a some hotel that will give you a good night sleep. With a shuttle service that will bring you to a nearby mall and couple with free buffet breakfast at cs floor and 16th floor rooftop viewing and with gym and pool, it cant go wrong. Front office, waiters/waitress and the security/concierge are very good manner - Filipino warm hospitality!

Just the room (Room 302) can be better upgraded with more socket plugs for charging and ironing/kettle. Imagine I have to move the iron board and the kettle to the nearest socket located near the bed lamp since the socket at the writing desk is spoilt and cannot be used. Also, shower line on the bath tub cannot be used, I am not sure if this is an universal practise in the hotel that the shower line cannot be used as I have seen the similar comment from other hotel guest. Welcome signage in the tv were for a different guest name and it should be updated.

Overall it is a wonderful stay and thank you Angel (front office) for sorting out my transportation bill issues with Avis. Will definitely come back!

Beautiful hotel and super friendly staff, the location is perfectly located between 2 shopping malls which are walking distance. there are many restaurants around the area and site a chic modern hotel.

the rooms are very comfortable and cozy with stunning view of the city. i always enjoy my stay here and looking forward to my next visit.

good service from check in .. angel rose villasotto help us a lot from check in to check out all the required details from the rooms and event hall of guajes that we booked for our event.. overall we enjoyed staying at acacia.. we will definitly come back..
