ABS Fairings Review

To start with i had absolutely the Poorest customer service with abs! I didn't get the parts painted in the right color in the right areas. They came with scratches, niks, and poor paint work. Didnt get the sticker kit they say it came with or the fairing bolts! All after taking 6 weeks to get the fairings. Very dissatisfied with the company over all. I will never spend 600$+ on their faring let alone ever do business with them again!

My experience has been very poor with ABS Fairings. Only part of my fairing kit arrived and parts of that were damaged and the wrong color. The side panels and tank cover never showed up and the original box with the partial shipment would have been too small to hold them anyway. I could not get a straight answer about when I could expect the missing pieces. They only wanted to stall by trying to get me to take more pictures of the damaged items (who cares about that when the big pieces are still missing). Some customer services emails appear to be written by people in China who either don't read my emails or don't care what they say. I repeatedly asked for a return shipping label and refund. Again they stall by saying it was somehow my fault for accepting the package (the post office dumped the box on my driveway without notice so there was no way to refuse the delivery). Still waiting for a refund and a return shipping label. If you have loads of time, limitless patience, and little to no need for your correct fairing parts order these are the guys for you!

Honestly, I can not say enough great things about this company. Not only is the communication phenomenal, but the product is top of the line as well. I have their race fairings for my Yamaha R3, and I could not be more impressed. Not only is the fit terrific (making for an easy install) they are durable and have held-up after multiple crashes; and they are still looking great! If you're on the fence about going with ABS for your motorcycle, I would encourage you to give them a shot. You will not be disappointed.

I've never gone out of my way to write a review for any place, but i bought a tail fairing for my GSXR about 3 Weeks ago i have called and i have emailed endlessly to find out about the status of my order, they never answer the phone, call back or even email you back. This place has the worst customer service i have ever seen. its not that hard to return a call or write back.. i advise anyone to stay away from this place if not prepare to have the worst time getting your part in a timely manner

A.B.S Fairings was a complete joy to work with! They were open to help me customize my design and get it EXACTLY as I wanted, the shipping was fast! and complete with tracking details. The kit went on smooth and easy and eveything lined up perfect! No trying to stretch and make it fit. They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone!

They took months to get me my product after they messed up!!! Super bad communication and never responded to emails and phone calls to get technical support. This is one company you need to stay clear of because they have very bad customer support. I learned the hard way because I fell for their website as it looks great, but everything else is from my experience was really bad. I would rate them with an F minus minus!!!!!

I only thought that oem plastics were the best thing to buy when I needed a replacement . I have tried many diffrent aftermarket fairings and they all failed . Some didn't line up and some broke a week later . I have ABS a try , and I am SUPER happy that I did . All my fairings liened up great , and there just as strong and tuff as a set of oem(s) . Great people and great service !

Great company! Everyone was very professional, responsive, and courteous. Submitted a picture of a custom job I wanted done and ABS hit it out of the park! Was very impressed with the quality of kit, figment of the body, and quality of the paint. Body has held up to tons of abuse. If there was any issues I had, they were handled in a quick and professional manner!

Im only leaving my original review for others to see, and read the response from Abs Fairings.

WOW, I was not expecting anything of the kind from them, but unfortunately I have already turned in the parts (and bike to an auto body shop for help. I have sent them a message to stop and if not mods have been done, I will take ABS Fairings up on their offer.

But still, look at their great response...

Don't Order Unless You're Ready To Install

I ordered the 04' Yamaha R1 fairings back in April, but never installed them because I was still riding the tracks and was running my track fairings. So now I'm done with the tracks for this season and excited to finally mount the new fairings.

I had no worries going in, due to so many great reviews, but...

The front mid fairing will not mate with the upper cowl. The air tubes are an obvious off color than the rest of the fairings. The tank cover wont fit. It's just one thing after another.

Here's the fine print, 'as long as the item is in "Uninstalled" condition and within five days of delivery.' So I'm screwed... out $650 for the fairing kit and another $125 for the air tube (which are illustrated with all the fairings, buts not included). So much for their 100% Fitment Guaranty.

Oh, but the pieces that did fit, fit perfectly and were beautifully painted. Guess I'll have to take it to a body shop and see if they can get anything to work.

My fairings looked exactly like it did in the email I got. Didn't quite fit like OEM fairings but I made it work. Looks real good on the bike. Seriously thinking about changing up by the winter and ABS Fairings will be seeing me again.

Extremely happy with the product. My fairing kit turned out exactly how I wanted it to and fit perfect, no gaps or crooked body lines. Was as close to OEM fairings as it gets and have held up to extreme abuse. Service was excellent and they kept me updated throughout the entire process.

After receiving the run around from them and looking at other reviews stating the same please head my advice among others and go elsewhere with your business,

The guy Dan Was very disrespectful. He played with my time and money. After i bought the fairings and the whole amount of the transaction was debited from my bank account, he started asking for additional information, plus he said that the order was going to take two more weeks than what is specified on the web site. And sent a snapshot of my bank account and he said he didn't have the money. THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE AT ALL.

It all seemed very positive in the beginning, yes we can do the design, yes we can get it to you by such and such time. I was impressed to see that the work would be completed in Florida, so went ahead and paid my deposit.
I had to do a bit of chasing for updates on the work, but with Covid and the time difference I undersood this to not be the norm.
When I received the images of my kit, i was very impressed, agreed they were of suitable standard and paid the rest of the fee.
Got an update - package is being shipped from CHINA?? Why China, the business is in Florida.
Then the box arrived, well packaged, but the paintwork is of poor quality, obvious bleeding and no top coat. Then i noticed, the kit is NOT the same as the one I agreed to pay for and theyre response is to send a few replacement parts (how can i trust they'll be right ones) and that this shoddy work is to their standard
Avoid this company, if you want timely, trustworthy service and a quality product on your ride

I have had these fairings for about a year now and Its time let others know about my poor experience.

After weeks of finally agreeing on a design they said they could do, they told me fairings were in production. Around the 6 week mark I sent an email to check in on how they were coming along (the whole process takes about 8 weeks) and was told everything was going according to plan. After 10 weeks I sent another email to find out what was going on and after some back and forth I discovered that they never even started working on my fairings. At this point I should have gone to a different company, but I decided to give them a second chance.

After another 10 weeks (2 weeks for shipping since they came from china) I finally received my fairings. Unfortunately they excitement quickly wore off as a few parts were damaged in shipping. There was also another extra piece that was clearly not for my bike so someone else was missing part of their order. The side fairing design felt rushed as the "YAMAHA" written on the side was a bunch of stickers placed on and not straight either. Some of the lines actually ran through the word when they were not supposed to touch at all. One thing that really bothered me is that I very clearly have a red and black build. So why would you think its okay to put your white logo on the front? Not only does it not match, its actually misspelled. There is a gap where a letter is clearly missing. I don't have a problem with companies putting their name or logo on products especially if I support them. But ask me first because I stated I wanted a a solid black front fender. I might have been okay with it if it was red, but it wasnt.

Now I have taken off my OEM fairings before and put them back on multiple times, and although the R6 fairings in general are not super user friendly once you get the hang on it they are not that bad. It took me a total of 10 hours to put all of these fairings on my bike. The fitment was off, and over 1/3 of the bolts and plastic clips would not go back on. Some on my fairings have areas were they interlock instead of using a clip or screw, and multiple parts broke upon the first installation (they never broke on the OEM). Also some areas have paint chipping away too. With how much I spent on these I expect a way better quality.
