Duck Key Marina Review

This was the highlight of our day on Duck Key. We were traveling to the resort to celebrate in-laws birthdays and looking for some adventure that the neighboring resort lacked. They gave a very thorough training before sending us out on the water, which is important in the terrain of the keys. Pack a lunch, water and snacks and bring a large bag of ice for the large cooler on board. Or cruise over to Marathon for lunch. Best way to see the keys is from the sea!

The guy who runs the marina, well, at least the fuel dock...is among the worst people I have ever met. Rude, dismissive and angry are only the beginning of the descriptors for this rather portly "gentleman". If he treated people the way he treated us where I'm from...he would be in business a week...because he'd be in a landfill somewhere. I will never go there again, and honestly...Ill probably never come back to Duck Key. Go elsewhere for gas and slips.

If I could give no stars I would. We were told there was sitting room on boat for 4 people, there was no seating. We went only about 2 miles but he charged us for 5 gallons of gas! We re told there were places to stop and grab a bite to eat but there was none. We were told no sand bars but there were. Defiantly would look at other rental places, we do frequent the Keyes and rent boats all the time, pick another place!

They have a nice set of boats and staff was very friendly and helpful. You can even rent the snorkel gear there. Great place for private boat rentals.

We rented a 24 foot fishing boat out of here and had excellent service. There are also charters run out of this location, and I would definitely recommend using them.

Rented a boat and the service here was amazing. Captain Ray was very helpful and all around great. The price was very affordable as well.

Walked from our vacation condo and asked about a boat rental. Rude answer and really couldn t be bothered. Said they were booked 6 months in advance. Funny their web site show a lot available and when I walked up there were at least 6 boats just sitting there. Went down the street to Wake zone and they were happy to get the business. Try some where else.

Boats are in good shape. Nice selection. Good prices. Amazing Service.

This review is for the fuel dock. Stopped to get gas. No one was out, had to call to get someone to come out. No biggie, except he said the don't fuel jetskis. After telling him we had 3 skis (that hold 20 gal apiece) and were in need, he reluctantly agreed to fuel us. The whole time, he was very rude and condescending. We even tipped him since he did give us gas, but I feel this type of service is unacceptable.

This place sucks.Rude and seem out of it.I got yelled at by the manager for holding the door for my family.Food is over priced and we left hungery with a 80$ bill.

Don't wast your time don't go there

Great place close to Hawks Cay. Courtney runs a tight ship with a beautiful facility. Charter a trip with Always Enough Sportfishing, rent a boat, fuel up or store your boat, wet/dry. The location is fantastic. New remodel since hurricane Irma. Love Duck Key Marina.

I can t imagine coming from a different state and this being the closest marina to you. If you call, they never pick up. If you go to leave a message, their mailbox is full. When they finally get around to calling you back, they are not helpful and it s just a waste of time at that point.
If you are staying on site near the marina and walk there, in person is not much better. They bounce you around from person to person, make you wait, just to rudely tell you they have no boats to rent out.
If you can time things out correctly, you might be able to rent a boat but I don t know if I would want to interact with them then either.
Go somewhere where they show you some southern hospitality and give them your money.
