Extremely rude and very condescending in the way they talk to people and handle sensitive matters

Awful - they weren't 'able' to complete simple administrative tasks during my custody battle for my daughter. A case which should have taken weeks took nearly half a year. Documents not requested which should have been, documents not sent which should have been. Tried covering their tracks in things they didn't do. Disgusting. Sad sad reality that they're paid an absolute fortune for their legal knowledge but couldn't complete simple admin tasks to get the case moving forwards. Would never recommend.

I have just used Abels for a case along with my niece. I must say that I was very impressed and can't thank Mr Humphris enough for his advice and help. Not only did we win the case through his professional approach to our case, but his advice has been invaluable and much appreciated. Thank you very much Abels.

This firm of solicitors made false legal representation on my family and myself for a two year period as to profit, be it unlawfully from false representation. There are good solicitors out there, unfortunately Abels do not meet that criteria, avoid at all cost.

He was very responsive, professional, and was always happy to answer any questions we had. Not a very good experience with this ummm, .... firm? The receptionist was both charming helpful and friendly. The curmudgeon who dealt with my enquiry was laconic and quite rude . Manners dont cost.. Would take a LOT for me to return. Ever.

Sheila has been an absolute star throughout a long and difficult process. Professional yet always friendly, prompt at replying to emails and phone calls. Encouraging when things weren't going my way. I shall miss our communication! Hilary was also brilliant when Sheila was off and I didn't have to do any extra explanations. Handovers were obviously always done before hand. Just fantastic. I recommend to all my friends and family and will never use another firm. Direct dial and a direct email to your solicitor and a 5 star service. Worth every penny. Not a call centre in sight!!! You really do get what you pay for with law firms. Do not use estate agent recommended mass produced companies...it will cost you in the long run.

I moved from another firm half way through a property litigation case last year. Peter Humphris took on my case and helped me win it. I was a complete mess during the case but Peter was always at hand to reassure me and put my mind at rest. He never made me feel bad for asking same questions over and over again. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. I will always use this them going forward.
