My girls and I always make a point to go to ABC when we are at the mall. Friendly, helpful , and reasonable prices.

Was in the store a few days ago and experienced one of the most horrific things I'd want to see. The sweet young lady that was working at the time could not be any happier to help me find what I was looking for. She even told me the item I as buying was on sale! She was very helpful and is not the reason for my horrific experience. It started as the owner of the store came in. The young lady was not aware that the crown on top of the large plush I bought was not included. The owner began to yell at her in front of customers and in front of CHILDREN and took no action for anything. He embarrassed her in front of the entire store and she left crying. He is completely unprofessional and not only a HORRIBLE boss but an awful person. I will NEVER be back and I will NEVER recommend this place to ANYBODY. Ruined my Christmas shopping mood. Horrible people own this store. DO NOT GO.

Former employee of this store. I walked in a few weeks ago with my friends (since it is Christmas) and I did not touch a thing nor did I do anything to mess the store up, and the next day I got a threat text from the owner saying he would call the cops on me the next time I was to enter the store..... I did nothing wrong to this man or his store so he has no reason to call the cops on me. He is incredibly racist and selfish. People would come in with broken toys or toys that were missing pieces in the box and he would not give them a refund or listen to the problems that were wrong with the toys. He would tell them oh well and they could not their money back. I was working alone for the Christmas season because he would not hire any of the black people that applied to work there so he carelessly made me suffer working every shift, everyday, which led me to quit along with his unfairness. He is completely unprofessional and should not own a toy store. I would never recommend this store to anybody because the owners are so cruel and do not deserve anybody s business. Awful people.

In response to my wife's review, you failed to show the full video of what really happened. You only added what you want customers to see. WHICH IS FALSE and another reason you are an awful person. Just another reason to NEVER come to this franchise again. If people really knew how you were, you would have no business. Hope this opens your eyes. It's the time for giving and you are far from the Christmas spirit, especially to own a Toy Store. It's very sad. Horrible people at this store...

Again, the video you posted is not the FULL video of how you treated your employee and how she walked out. I was there to witness it all. Absolutely unprofessional and it s a shame you can t own up to it.

I planned on purchasing an item at this establishment. When I walked in he told me to leave, because I did not have a parent with me. I am 16 and I think I am fully capable to purchase an item on my own, especially at a toy store. 1/10 would not do again.

Stay away from this store. The hired help can t give refunds. They have to call Mr Homer (whoever that is) and he says they only give store credit. Baloney. When I come back to see Mr Homer tomorrow, how cordial the meeting goes will depend solely on him.

Awful selection! Never spoke! The store was very very hot.

After having a bad experience with an employee and writing a review I was able to get things right with the owner. They took care of my problem and gave me a discount on a future purchase. As with anything communication and attitude makes a big difference. Thanks for making it right.

Waited almost 2 hours for the manager to get there. He ignored the employee phone call. We will NEVER shop at the Auburn one. Sasha part is the guy who owns this one owns the Montgomery one too

Bought a my brother a big wheel racer which is like a tricycle and they sold to me incomplete and i went back to return it and the owner was their and told me I couldn t return or get a refund and they d as a refund sign right infront of the cashier so I just left and it cost me $70 for something that was incomplete that s just horrible for them selling it like that

I visited this store today for the first time. I found the owners t be very kind and friendly. They helped me find the toy I wanted right away. I was very impressed with their wonderful attitude and genuine smiles. I cannot understand any of the bad reviews that are posted on this rating page. I highly recommend them.

The owners are always so helpful and kind! The store has a great selection of toys to choose from.

I should have left this review sooner but I don't usually leave reviews for any place. I feel obligated after such a good experience. Went in looking for a quick gift for the girlfriend and the teenage guy there helped me out. Turns out he's an Auburn student like myself so it was nice to meet someone like minded with a good attitude. This is a great place to go if you need a gift for that day. Helpful staff, good selection. Would recommend.

I like this place their collection of stuffies is awesome and the prices are reasonable even during Christmas. Although will be nice if they increases their inventory of stuffed animals, we are trying to finish our collection of aquatic animals we need the turtle, last time we got one from them for a gift but for some reason now every time we go there they always are out of the same turtle, so we started now our bird collection. Get more turtles plz!!.

My son and I went into this store at about 5:40 PM on a Sunday afternoon. We were never greeted with a "Hey how are you? Can I help you?" or anything. I did not go in the store with the intentions of buying because the toys are honestly waaaaaay over priced, however had my son asked, I would have gotten him something. About three minutes later we were finally approached with a, "Hey, we are about to close in 5 minutes so that we can vacuum just to let you know." Mind you, the store was not scheduled to close until 6:00 PM. Needless to say, we will never be going there again. Very disappointed at the poor treatment we received, but not at all surprised.

Love this place!!! They have everything here and the associate Jordan helped me find everything I was looking for. Great guy and knew what he was talking about. definitely would reccommend ABC toys again!!

I went in. The employee followed me around the store like a hawk being super annoyed when my child would touch a toy (if you don't want kids playing with the toys then don't work at a toy store). Then the owner proceeded to tell me that my "husband" left a cup on a shelf by accident. He then said "oh my apologies I see no ring... boyfriend". Then he continued to be very rude and I decided to put the items back because the cup was empty and he would not allow us to have an empty cup in the store even though he saw us walk in with it (what am I supposed to do when I have a sippy cup for my daughter? Is that not allowed either?) so then when I told my husband that I was just going to not purchase anything because of how rude the guy was being... the guy said "I don't care if you put things back- you don't deserve respect because you are not a good person". I said "excuse me" he said "you heard me". I said "no. You don't deserve respect. You're the one being a jerk to me in front of my child. Don't own a toy store where you have things out for children to play with if you're going to breathe down my neck when I have done a very good job of replacing what my child has played with". He said "I feel so sorry for your child to have an a**hole mother like you" he actually said the word!! I said "are you kidding me" and he said "get out of my store if you don't like it".... absolutely RUDE! He has been reported to the manager and owner of the mall. Do not give this man your business. All of this after lying to me about a price when I was there previously and charging me double for the item just because my daughter wouldn't let go of it. And then when I asked if it was "20% or %15 plus %20" since the whole store says %20 on a sign out front but individual items are also marked off extra. He said "15+5=20 in case you didn't know". ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! This is why ABC Toys in Eastdale Mall in Montgomery shut down!

My kids love to go and play there ,it's really nice place, they have playing spot for kids to enjoy.

Nothing would make me happier than to walk into the mall and see this poor excuse of a business shut down after what happened to my wife today

Awesome inventory, very reasonable prices especially with their Buy One Get One Deal. Very helpful employees. Found what I was looking for from Melissa & Doug brand. Ended up getting couple plush animals as well, very nice collection with great prices. Will shop from here again.

Wife was walking by and salesman talked her into buying a Syma X5SW for $149 and she did thinking they would have a competitive price on it. Well you look them up the highest price we found on the internet was 69.99 most of them are around 59 dollars. We talked with management with no luck they want us to bring it back and they will give us store credit. Well they got us for $90 dollars we could have used for anything else. Writing this to let people know look it up on the internet before you think a store like this is going to do you a favor like keeping prices low. We will from now on. Also all I ask for was a discount or another X5SW for a spare and was turned down. We could have easily bought 2 on the internet with money to spare. This is why retail stores are going under. Stay out of there and buy more on the internet. Merry Christmas

My whole family LOVES visiting this store! It is very child friendly, always smells so nice and things are neatly organized. The owners and their staff have always been helpful and kind to us. I once made a phone inquiry about a specific Beanie Baby penguin and the owner was kind enough to check the inventory and got back in touch with me to let me know they had the penguin. When I got to the store, the owner had set aside one of each size of the toy I had been searching for so that I could choose. I also appreciate the wide variety of Kumon books available. Reasonable prices, large inventory and impeccable customer service! A+++ in my book!

My family loves this store! We can't go to the mall without at least a quick visit. They have the best Melissa and Doug selection around and so many other fun things. I love that we have a locally owned toy store!

I love this store, I get my nephews and nieces' Christmas presents there because they have toys you cannot find in many places. The employees always have been very helpful with finding the right present according to their age and interests. We always leave the store with a smile in our faces.

I am 15, and was kicked out because I didn't have a parent with me... I guess I'm not old enough to go to a toy store...
