Phone support in every department that I've worked with at A2 Hosting has been terrific. I'm an old guy who got sick of waiting for hours at Blue and GoDaddy. These guys and gals pick up the phone and work patiently with confused users. Up time and speeds are fantastic, prices are low, packages exceptionally well defined. It costs me very little to run a bunch of high performing WordPress sites on a shared server which has never failed. But it's the attitude. Maybe the staff are great students at one of the best Universities in the country -- I don't know. Ann Arbor is a very special place. Each staff member has been caring, patient, and far more knowledgeable. It ain't like getting on the phone and finding yourself unable to understand a well meaning but incompetent person from a developing country. No aspersions, no politics.. but A2 feels like chatting with the folks next door.

Very Bad and pathetic services. 24+ hours of outage of Windows servers. No serious clarification from the support. Not Recommended.

Very fast response and courteous team. Solution took only as much time as I took in making changes to recommended settings.

I have renewed service for full year last time I renewed as previous support was also outstanding.
There were no Support requirements for their error. A2hosting settings are little bit different, naturally, than other hosting we were using so I had to occasionally ask A2 how to get desired result.

BTW, I am also managing group websites on 3 other major web hosting services. This one gives me most peace of mind.

Not PCI DSS COMPLIANT! No one said a thing about it selling me the site. Miss lead me into thinking that the ssl, dedicated IP and the fast site was all good to go for what I said I needed it for. Well they left out some stuff. Good if you don't want to host your own cart or process cards on your site to uniquely fit with your unique business. This means you must use a third party to make any type of sale other than face to face cash or check forwarding your customer and the information off site to a third party site... No, the thing was a waste of my money for me, spent money. SSL and dedicated IP are useless if I can't process cards on my site. They had everything I needed except the most important part. Peed was great and it didn't have any issues as I was installing. Never the less the PCI DSS scan returned vulnerabilities that I wouldn't really classify as a business level security.
Update:
I was contacted back and was told they'd look at my fails from compliance, that usually they are not hard to correct. Then I was told that they were not critical fails and I need to upgrade to vps. Ok... OpenSSH Username Enumeration Vulnerability, Exim Remote Code Execution Vulnerability, Deprecated SSH Cryptographic Settings,
SSL/TLS Server supports TLSv1.0, Mail Server Accepts Plaintext Credentials. Just saying. So I gave them 3 stars instead of 1 just because until now it was a great experience. A pricey one but still. I just wish they had a PCI compliant option that wouldn't require me to pay $1000+ per month to run/launch my website. I get if I was google level or something but I am not. Funny how the difference is from $300 per year to about $1300 per year due to my storage needs. Skipping VPS and going straight to dedicated. It is a good deal! I just really wish they were PCI compliant. Hopefully that will change when I am ready to take the next step.

EXCELLENT product, Customer Service is Amazing! NO downtime in the year I've been with them - chose based on reviews over BlueHost and HostGator and others that were just pumping out the affiliate dollars so there were tons of videos about them....these guys are legit, very on top of things, email you when there's a patch that needs attentions. LOVE A2!!

A2 seemed like a good value, but their support team is either good or terribly bad depending on the issue.

We just love A2Hosting. It has been years we are using then and referring them to others.

I wouldn't recommend A2 as a Windows based hosting solution. Recently, A2 experienced an outage that lasted over two weeks. It was reported hackers deployed malware on their Windows servers and all data was crypto locked. It's unfortunate, up until this point I feel A2 was a decent host.

I am impressed with A2 Hosting's customer support. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have been able to contact them via online ticket/email and phone. Their help has been very appreciated!

Wow, I lost my credit card and delayed to pay in time. My site was suspended and upon emailing the team. My site was unsuspended in less than 20 minutes and was allowed more 7 days on top of the extra 15 days they had originally given me to do my balance payment.
Wow. This is the fastest help I have ever gotten from any hosting service providers. You guys are the best.

A2Hosting is doing a great job by providing Node JS apps along with angular frameworks capabilities. I had been looking into many service providers and I got a great deal from A2Hosting ! Kudos to them for providing constant support for queries being asked.Typically this was what i needed Angular/NodeJS/SSL ! Happy!

I contacted A2 support when my site was compromised with malicious code. The reply to my support ticket came within the hour. My questions were answered and the trouble was addressed which led to a prompt resolution. Their support is impeccable!

A2's customer service and accountability have declined drastically since signing up a few years ago. Just about a year ago, we were having issues with the VPS account we had and I was told something similar to what they are telling me now, "the number of sites we are working with need an upgraded server service". I took their team's advice and migrated with great pain. Now they have made it clear that their technical support and customer service is nothing to count on, we will migrate our websites off of this server to a more stable and accommodating platform.

Taking some ounce of responsibility for this and the constant issues we have encountered over the last six months would have gone a long way. It's unfortunate that this is how they treat growing clients like us. There is no reason that we should have been kept in the dark as long as we were during this (in our eyes) 24-hour outage. They responded with technical gibberish as a smokescreen for their team's inability to respond to a ticket request in a timely manner. This isn't the first time we have been left in the lurch waiting for support when we needed it the most and now I see it won't be the last.

My business demands reliability, communication, and accountability. I ask for it from my team and demand it from my vendors. This team has failed to deliver on all three tenants and thus I will be spending my money elsewhere.

Their cPanel and site management tools are excellent, and account management is a breeze. They also offer some very advanced features in their hosting plans that other hosts just don't offer, like Node.js app support. That's really unheard of in the hosting industry if you've spent any time shopping for hosting. Additionally, you'll get fast and secure hosting, unlimited/unmetered disk usage and websites, free (no-touch) SSL certs, free CDN, all the garb. A2 Hosting is a premium host and I am very pleased with their services.

I came to A2 Hosting a few years ago... after having way too many problems with one of their competitors... and I've never looked back. Everything I put online nowadays goes on A2. Highly recommended!

Setting up the SSL for my two websites, so they would appear fully secure to our visitors, went in the wrong direction and my main website no longer came up in any browser due to "Privacy Issues".
While I slept, the team got it sorted out and went beyond the original issue to ensure my second website was also appearing fully secure.

I'm giving them a 5-star rating because of many things:

1. My website performance has improved tremendously. It loads at an amazing 2.9 seconds! Previously, visitors have to wait for more than 8 seconds and most of them complained about the slowness. Now people appreciate how fast my website loads.

2. The support is also excellent. The staff are courteous and professional.

3. I have the freedom to do exactly what I want with the CPanel, which previously I'm tied up and have to rely on support. Now, it's a matter of 2-3 clicks and their CPanel gives every customer the freedom to configure their sites. Note, that I'm availing of a shared hosting, not a VPS.
