A2's customer service and accountability have declined drastically since signing up a few years ago. Just about a year ago, we were having issues with the VPS account we had and I was told something similar to what they are telling me now, "the number of sites we are working with need an upgraded server service". I took their team's advice and migrated with great pain. Now they have made it clear that their technical support and customer service is nothing to count on, we will migrate our websites off of this server to a more stable and accommodating platform.
Taking some ounce of responsibility for this and the constant issues we have encountered over the last six months would have gone a long way. It's unfortunate that this is how they treat growing clients like us. There is no reason that we should have been kept in the dark as long as we were during this (in our eyes) 24-hour outage. They responded with technical gibberish as a smokescreen for their team's inability to respond to a ticket request in a timely manner. This isn't the first time we have been left in the lurch waiting for support when we needed it the most and now I see it won't be the last.
My business demands reliability, communication, and accountability. I ask for it from my team and demand it from my vendors. This team has failed to deliver on all three tenants and thus I will be spending my money elsewhere.
