Not a bad little airport. Not well signed to get to where you need to go (which door is A0, for example, A1-3 are marked..also, there should be better signs to the free shuttles).
Terrible airport, the luggage pickup is way too long and messy. WiFi never works and says You are not allowed to connect in this zone . Fix your WiFi, it should work anywhere in the airport.
The signage in the departure terminal is wrong. It let's you to believe there is a variety of food after you go through the passport control (which shouldn't be necessary within Schengen any way). But there turns out to be only a totally sold out Starbucks (except for all
the sweet stuff) with appalling service.
When our flight was delayed a half hour I asked the police at the passport control if I could go back but he got very aggressive and even hit me on my shoulder. This after my passport wasn't even looked at when I went through the first time, giving me no chance to read the sign about not being able to return.
The French organize in their own manner which is faulty, inhospitable and rude.
Terrible flow of pedestrian traffic within airport. Snack and food options are few and far between and extremely over priced (even by airport standard). Currently under renovation and hopefully will improve standard
Small airport charming for its airstrip and its palm trees as soon as you leave the airport, otherwise a basic airport by itself because very few shops and activities to pass the time.
Airport with a lot of traffic, a lot of security.
The airport is quite easy to access, and the city is working for even better access.
I mostly attended the Terminal 2 is last year, and found it quite nice.
We are never far when we check in a door to get into the boarding area.
The controls are relatively fast, the staff is quite welcoming.
And suitcases also arrive fairly quickly.
Large bay window are located allowing natural light to make its entrance in the T2, I do not know about the T1.
I confirm several negative opinions,
No indication on the output,
And when we dare asked the staff hello damage (hello is not part of their vocabulary, we look from head to foot, and think before giving an answer).
Easy access
Passing through security is quick
Annoying control and it's not comfortable to move always between terminals.
Classic airport, bad day because the plane was 3 hours late and it's never pleasant.
Paying number which specifies that the call will be handled "in a few moments" and which hangs up on your face after 5 minutes because no one can take the call ...
Things have seriously detriated over the last 2years! Queues at passport control departing + arrivals are shockingly bad with no information, crying babies., passengers collapsed on the floor, luggage taking over an hour (on a evening arrival) minimal staff on arrival passport (1 or 2)! Now barriers at T1 kiss + fly - does that mean we'll have to pay to use it?
Ok this is the covid but the least of things without having an information point on site is at least to have 1 by phone. Neither exists. Closed on site and unreachable by phone Vive nice what
The airport closes at 00:30. It would be a good idea to indicate it somewhere, for example for those whose plane arrives late and have to wait for a bus at 3am to return home. In addition, the security staff takes pleasure in cheering you up and prefers to let you wait outside in the middle of December. It will have left us the time to write this comment ...!
Women's bathrooms without toilet seats and very dirty. Very long queue for check-in, for security, for passport control, for duty free. Exactly 5 seats per boarding gate in b gates, ridiculous. Also no bins around the boarding gates. There were delays of 50+ mins on inbound flight to get priority bags, without explanation or apology from a Nice representative.
Airport seems like it should be a tiny 2 flights a day airport based on its infrastructure, i will avoid where possible in the future.
Queuing at two gates with no information and a delayed flight. No idea where priority boarding is versus other queues. Tiny hot room with 200 people is ridiculous
well maintained covid requires, however lack of hand gel
Nice airport. 2 terminals. Everything is clear and convenient. Purely. There is a smoking room
Nice airport, terminal quite big. Very good access also by public transport. One star deducted for placing people after boarding in the corridor leading directly to the sleeve, which has no seating. Boarding lasted a good half an hour, where the checked-in travelers (also with children and the elderly) had to stand in a narrow corridor in which there was stuffiness and high temperature.
I propose to arrange the kiss and fly. Keep the three lanes with the middle one. The vehicles would enter the right lane (curb side), stop on the cobs and exit on the left lane. The advantage would be that there would be much less "blockages" ...
It is not the airport of the century but it remains a good airport, still under construction and which therefore generates a lot of dissatisfaction and various complaints. It is understandable. Once finished, many points will improve. On the other hand, level of service / reception / contact level, it would be interesting for airport employees (all boxes combined) to also undergo civic-mindedness, helpfulness, friendliness, efficiency, etc.
Because on these points, it is not won!
Awful airport. Large queues, lots of passport and ticket checks, few working desks. Did not even have separate queues for EU and non EU citizens on our flight back to Bristol. Absolutely chaotic.
Two people checking passports with no need to on the way out the country a joke of a place
The Pret A Manger is very pricey. Got through security pretty quick.
Nice airport by the sea, not too much waiting for the security checks
Relatively quick exit from the plane and the airport
Usual airport with overpriced food and drink, not a lot of comfortable places to sit, but free unlimited wifi.
Curious baby Wendy looking at the sea outside the window
I went on a trip to Rome on October 4th and found myself in a rather special situation with baggage checks. I was confronted with my wife by a particularly unpleasant controller, whose behavior I still can not understand. Let me explain: although having scrupulously respected all the instructions given by the travel company regarding the products of toilets (no particular objects, no aerosols, limited contents ....) This person has told us obliged to throw products scrupulously respecting standards, new products and major brands in this case. The person who was following us even claimed to have similar products in his luggage that he was not forced to throw ... but his were not new. One is entitled to wonder what happens to these products that we are asked to discard without reason and especially by refusing the dialogue to give us an explanation. Do the staff do the trash? In short, I find it scandalous to take advantage of its function to act in this way by believing itself above all. If I had refused, I think I would have had the right to a more thorough search that would have made me miss my flight. So in these cases we are silent and we accept the unacceptable unfortunately.
Nice is an average airport like others. The loudspeaker announcements in Terminal 1 "Departure" are almost not understandable because of the poor quality. The car rental is not very well resolved. First with a shuttle bus to Terminal 2 and after this a longer walk via narrow lanes with all the lugage in a parking garage - during rainy weather or hot temperatures really no pleasure.
After Terminal 1 has been closed, all departures will now take place from Terminal 2. This part of the airport is a little more confusing.
The airport is small but you can find everything there, shops, cafes, restaurants ...
Poor internal signage. The employees don't help much either, in the traditional French way. The airport opens at 4am. It is easily accessible: the bus is close by, but for those with a lot of luggage it may not be the best option. There is no tax return window, just a box to deposit the requisition.
Truly incompetent staff members and a sad excuse for an airport! We arrived at 3:55am for an international flight but the doors were not open yet. With a crowd of about 15 more people we waited until someone from the airport graced us with their presence and opened the terminal gates at 4:05 am. Our boarding passes said to check our bags in at zone F but of course it is a ghost house and no one is in the airport. At 4:15am the staff shows up and starts setting up, with at least 30 people waiting at this point. What kind of idiots can t show up to work on time and have their area set up before passengers arrive??? There were 4 staff members just taking their precious time and it still took them 30 more minutes to finally set up the stupid lines. I have never been more upset with an airport, especially one that does not value their client s time.
No signage for pedestrians saying that Terminal 1 is closed, deplorable welcome at Terminal 2 coffee machines that do not work but keep your 2. Still people who are not at your service when they are paid for it!
Fancy place all merc taxi is outside, car hire the lot.
Super welcoming staff nothing to say about this agency continue like this super
The airport does not look amazing. It's a bit dated now. There is a lot of traffic and there are few connections from Katowice. The airport makes up for with beautiful views during take-offs and landings. Thanks to the location right next to the sea, we can see the beautiful Cote d'Azur and admire the breathtaking landscapes.
An airport very nicely placed above the sea (magnificent landing) but with a very ugly interior, to renovate absolutely!
Easily accessible with the Nice tram!
Neat and tidy.
A long wait with checking in and after customs, little was left open at the gate to be able to eat something before leaving while it was only 7:30 pm ......
... of course it is a bit small and chaotic at certain times but very functional and easy to find ..... just take the famous Promenade des Anglais to the end .... bus both from T1 and T2 to the city ( 6 compared to the 40 that ask you for a taxi) .... the Metro2 line that will connect the airport to the port of Nice is also in an advanced state of construction ... also served by the low cost Easyjet and Ryanair
Narrow parking lots ... We meet beautiful people. No, it's not a rental car ...
Arrived here 65 times in the course of several years and departed. Sometimes the suitcase did not arrive /, sometimes there were no flights, I also experienced a crash when starting to taxi. The operation actually works as everywhere. The car rental companies are easily reachable by shuttle bus. The communication in English works smoothly everywhere, which I would not attest to other French airports.
Very nice employees, but a lack of signage especially for tourists, clean establishments, perhaps lack of security guards also for surveillance in the corridors, a camera cannot intervene.
Very good airport. I take the P5 car park to look for people at terminal T2. Otherwise to take the plane ... the walk next door is free. Then chip jump with the tram ...
Super airport full of destination and it will grow super
Nothing to say about the airport itself, but please, review the organization of traffic in the parking lot and the drop-off. It's super stressful. We go around in circles, it's bottled. When my brother came to find me, luckily there is the cell phone or I would still be looking for it.
Typical French tiny and cute small but very well organized airport that offers a lot of connections to the locals transportations, feels very secure to travel and there are plenty services for
Single travellers ,couples
Long distance flights with or without kids .
The comfort and relax is found during the entire waiting time from check in til boarding and Is especially guaranteed by ergonomically designed seating lounges where you can easily take a nap.
Tax free boutiques offer some of the best deals for local wines, souvenirs, clothingwear, fragrances, delicatessen and small nougats chocolates.
Airport operators are ready to help and friendly for any enquiry .
Food options are limited. Toilets are dubious and the staff at Relay very rude; No customer service, selling flat Coke. Probably out of date as no dates on the bottle.
Great airport. Easy to navigate. Great car rental service.
Really very complicated this airport, it is beautiful but badly screwed up as possible and everything is done to charge as much as possible.
I am wrong to access the T1 instead of going to the drop-off, I'm just going to the parking lot above. I come out immediately. Well, there is a charge from 0 minutes: 1.80 .
I had never seen this before.
I call, the person tells me that I could not be wrong.
In short, this is the place where there is no right to make mistakes, otherwise there is a penalty!
I refused to pay in front of what I call a scam and went out by forcing the passage (and I assume, I do not like to be tricked!).
Welcome tourists :-(
A pretty confusing airport. The construction didn't help the already badly built airport. Transportation to and from the airport after 7pm is almost impossible unless you want to pay an uber or a taxi. Everything is terribly labelled and flight information from one terminal is not found in other terminals, so you won't know if you are in the wrong place until you've already made the trip to the other terminals. Wifi is aight, but there is a time limit and the food is decent, ein.
Small clean airport located quite close to city centre of Nice and reachable by taxi and bus. Check-in experience was smooth, quite a few retail and eating options within the airport. Bathrooms not very clean, a door handle was broken as well.
WARNING! TERRIBLE TAXI SERVICE! I have been going to a conference in Cannes for 25 years now, so I have a great deal of experience traveling in and out of this airport. If you are staying at ANY of the hotels located along the Promonade des More
Messy airport with non.existant information to travelers.
The view is amazing when you land but shuttle bus to the center was packed and quite expensive. Also had to wait for a bus from the plane to the terminal for a distance easily walkable
Very nice as an airport it has easy access to pick up travelers
Passport control at zone B of terminal 2, 1h30 before departure of the flight: all closed positions. Beautiful example of absenteeism from the state.
The same passport control: in the republic where equality is one of the three pillars ... some are more equal than others to pass control. The question is: is the police paid for the line? And I do not know which answer is the worst ...
Nice airport, its quite crowded tho. The Terminal 1 and 2 are not connected, you have to find out that you need to take a bus.
The streets on the airport are quite confusing aswell. The staff is very friendly, especially at the Passport check. The airport has a few cool shops, aswell as a nice duty free shop.
Assuming that bus 98 is a direct bus from the airport to the hotel along the coast (still displayed as 98 on Google) If you didn't find it at the airport and heard it, it was abolished in August 2019. We used a tram to the city. I walked with a heavy suitcase for about 10 minutes.
However, there is a regular bus departing from Terminal 1 and you can take a 12 or 32 bus without a transfer for 20 minutes. The cost of the bus is 1.5 euros, but if you stay a few days, the free pass for 15 days is 15 euros.
Second airport of Frances but the shops and restaurants close at 20:00 in the evening. No words.
No worries on departure or arrival. A downside regarding parking prices.
Organized all ok. Taxis go one after another. Prices higher than ours in the Balkans, beautiful space
Nice airport although a bit crowded and slow. Great duty free!. Signage is very proper, security staff is polite and professional, as said earlier dirty free is great with variety of options for both brands and price. Neat and clean, bathrooms are good and hygienically cleaned. One of beautiful airports you could go. Highly recommended
Distancing in the shuttle not respected the probability that the virus finds its breeding ground in the airport is more than obvious damage
the queue for the bus is absolutely disgusting. They make you queue for any bus (no contactless or cash according to driver) despite no other public transport and only 3km from town. One kiosk, expect over hour delay- french public transport is a joke.
I went by bus from Nice railway station. If you get close to the airport for 6 euros, there will be a lot of junctions and traffic jams, so it is safe to watch for 1 hour just in case.
Take off has a great view, overall efficiency could be improved
Using cote d Azur airport is a pleasure, it's a breeze going through security, and the food is great too
