A breath of fresh air from great classics played by great performers! Always delighted! Thank you NW!
Small intimate stage. Free parking! The staff were very helpful.
I had an incredible welcoming experience..the ushers where exceptionally helpful, and nice. The play was well done and fun..it's my favorite this time of year..I hope other go see ' A Christmas Carol' to start their holiday season. I like too that there's a snack stand and nice lounge.
Saw a beautiful play, it's a nice change up for a weekend night. Awesome staff, park in the metrolink parking structure.
I have never been disappointed when I attended any production. They have a way of taking a time honored classic and re-creating it into a modern day revelation of what the author had tried to create. Passionate and explosive are the only words I can use to describe the energy of the performers. The visual effects are stunning and more than that, everything always comes together so seamlessly that you become a part of the experience rather than an observer. It's a MUST SEE attraction.
Small venue with a GREAT repetoire! Not a bad seat in the house!
I went to go see raisin in the Sun and wow I am amazed, it's a 3 quarter thrust stage and the actors were amazing and what a wonderful performance. The guides were very helpful and nice can't wait to see noises off in April
Attending live theater is a privilege; one for which I feel appreciation every time it happens.
Tonight was opening night for a new staging of The Glass Menagerie. Moving!
Perfect space to see cutting edge theater with fantastic repertoire cast.
A raisin in the sun...excellent!! Great seats anywhere in the theatre!!!!
I love Man of LA Mancha. This was a very different interpretation. Really fun choreography. Loved it!
Nice theater space. Saw a production of Gem of the Ocean which was pretty good.
Have seen many plays here and each one was excellent. The theatre itself is well designed and every seat a good one. Very professionally produced plays with outstanding actors! Tickets are reasonably priced. Highly recommend this theatre.
Through producing classics, A Noise Within continues to be one of the most relevant theatres in LA-- culturally aware, intelligent, relevant productions, with incredible acting and stage craft.
Saw AChristmas Carol and it is the best I've ever seen!!!!
Great acting. Man Of La Mancha made me cry. Happy tears.
Best classical theatre in the entire Los Angeles area.
Absolutely loved it! The intimacy of the theater is wonderful.
It was a great experience it has comfortable chairs and has clean restrooms
A great, intimate venue with consistently good performances. We saw Frankenstein, which was outstanding - very moving!
Wonderful quality to the production. Saw A Picture of Dorian Gray and it included a stellar cast and design.
Simple parking, great seats, wonderful show. Gem of the Ocean was wondrous and I hope there are more shows in that vain! Can't wait to go again
Nice theater. We saw Noises Off. Good theater for comedy.
Amazing place and the performances feel very close even from further away.
The temperature in the theater was uncomfortably warm, perhaps because it was a capacity crowd. Otherwise, it's a lovely and comfortabe venue
I love the theater....there is not a bad seat in the house.
Very best Classical Theatre in the nation! Plus wonderful education program for both children & adults. Come see Henry V and Raisin in the Sun - both are L.A. Times Critic Picks.
Beautiful theatre facility with professional talent.
My favorite place . . . . . such great artists. I have a great time everytime I attend.
A bit of a smaller theater, but definitely a talented crew and cast.
There's NO more drive in theater only the sign is left
Man of La Mancha was awesome. The theatre is small and intimate. I dont think there is a bad seat in the house.
Small venue, great production, very good singing, overall a great place.
Mad Woman of Challiot was the play I saw and it was incredible.
Saw Frankenstein. A treat from 2 of my best friends. It was totally different from any of the movies and closer to Shelly's book. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Full disclosure alert: I've been volunteering with this terrific troupe since the early days, at the old Masonic building in Glendale. Jeff and Julia and ANW are celebrating 25 years of providing the highest quality theatrical nourishment to a hungry community. A theatre that celebrates the classics with fresh, innovative staging and culturally diverse, high energy casts. Try and pick a performance with the educational Q&A after. This newer location is a beautifully repurposed 1958 Edward Durell Stone factory, in now-bustling East Pasadena. The state-of-the-art theatre, almost in the round, doesn't have a bad seat, with great sight lines and crisp sound. Kudos to Pasadena for making all cultural arts almost a city utility, like light and water. A shout-out to the great house manager Melody Moore, and actress, Jill Hill, who introduced me to the ANW magic. Lots of FREE parking in the Gold Line transit structure, behind ANW.
Great place kinda hard to find. On back side of building there is free parking look for sign... If sign says no theater parking go around corner! Park, Walk down stairs your right there! Nice new clean place and staff are very helpful and courteous. Seats are right there next to stage.
Modern stage with good views from all seats. Production values are high.
It's always a safe bet that the shows here will be good.
What a neat theatre, right there next to the Sierra Madre Metro Station! I saw a table reading a play. Such a great and open theatre. Not a bad seat to be had! Great for families.
All the shows I've seen here were excellent! There aren't any bad seats either!
Saw their production of Man of La Mancha here and it was absolutely fabulous.
Absolutely delightful performance of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.
The service here is fast and attentive! The ambiance is unique and the entire set up is clean. I enjoyed the small intimate venue. No matter where you sat you had a enjoyable view. Theater parking is also free
Saw Henry V - interesting sets and costumes. High quality acting. Direction and music was also very high quality. Nice theater with comfortable seats. Easy parking and easy to find location.
If you haven't been... go. If you have... I am preaching to the choir.
The theater is beautiful and offers a variety of plays and other cultural and educational experiences. There are summer programs for kids and opportunities to volunteer. I purchased a season pass several years ago and have been volunteering every since. I have never been disappointed. The shows and the actors are all of the highest quality. I plan to keep attending the performances for many years to come.
Great show and excellent facilities. Very easy to access.
Ergomics--the seats, sightlines, parking--all good. The play--A Christmas Carol--was enjoyable, if not astounding.
Great experience, would come back again! Nothing can compare their world class performance! Ever!
Great performers, great stage. Looks like basically all of the seating is good. It's a thrust stage, so don't be afraid of getting seats on the sides. Food is decent in intermissions. Stay for the qa if you can
It was a nice place and has nice bathrooms but during the play there is no u intermission so good luck if you have to use the bathroom
It's the best place you can ever visit. There are so many good actors that make the show amazing. If you are interested in acting i recommend that you should go see it sometime.
Small theater..not a bad seat in the house. Raisin in the Sun was very good!
Great experience! Super wonderful cast everyone was great. Teacher took a group to experience live theater to see CHristmas Carol wonderful play. Looking forward to seeing The Argonauts in the Spring. Go it is a great theater.
One of the best local theater. Great sound and visibility from every seat. Spacious comfortable chairs and easy parking access.
They have a very creative and powerful performance of Shakespeare's Henry V! All the seats are excellent and the audience is close to the action. Parking is easy too. A great experience!
Enjoyed my visit both times. They could improve their snack options but excellent venue
Great summer camp. My daughter loved it! She want to go back next year
