Good place for a drink although limited beer selection. There is a nice roof terrace with a view of the city.

Superb venue! Lounge with a beer on the grass in summer sunshine looking across the city, or snuggle under a blanket with a mulled wine in the winter. Staff are attentive and professional, food is creative and tasty.

Perfect for a warm summer day. The terrace is arranged in a circle with a good amount of seating but never too loud or too crowded. The food is traditional french made with good ingredients. Service was snappy (maybe a bit too quick at times). Drinks took awhile to bring to the table but they were pretty busy at the time. Pricing is high but in line with upscale restaurants in the area.

Did not live up to standards. Very overrated. The garden is not as big as it seems and you will rarely have a good view due to the seating plans. If you plan on bothering to go, then the main customer base is 50+ years old. Do not get the duck however, if wasn't for the bar this would have been a 1 star review.

Another fantastic meal here last week! Sommelier as usual, was spot on with his recommendations. Service was unobtrusive yet attentive.

My friend and I had an early dinner ahead of a concert at O2. A lovely atmosphere, and we were able to side on the terrace with our drinks, before being asked inside for a very enjoyable dinner. Good professional service.

Awful service...the two stars are only for the food. Never been treated so badly in a place like this... Such a shame! I never never go back to this place I I will recommend that you AVOID this place if you want to have a nice evening!

Wow! This place was amazing! The exterior was cozy, neat,tidy and fancy. And that the restaurant was on the roof made it even extra special The food?! Loved every bite of the 6 course meal that we had! And the staff was awesome too, especially Pietro! Pietro was kind, polite, funny and really made sure that we had everything and informed us of every detail of our meals
So I definitely going to recommend this place to anyone!

Disappointing, Poor Service, Dirty Cutlery, Dry and Tasteless Food. I was so so disappointed that this didn't turn out to be good. I had the most expensive steak and it was dry and terrible and served with a dirty knife after having to ask twice for cutlery. What a mess. Avoid - London is big, go elsewhere!

I booked at Coq D'Argent for a birthday treat.From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. When sat to a very nice table we ordered a flute of Champagne whilst we looked at the menu. Nothing was rushed and nothing too much trouble. Food began to arrive and our waitress explained all what we were to eat, such an experience! We both thoroughly enjoyed every course. All of this topped off with a little birthday candle at dessert time and waitress came to sing! Thank you to all the staff for what has been a fantastic experience which we will remember for a long time and hope to return in the future.

One of my favourite places in London. Great huge outdoor space, it s like a forest up there with plenty of greenery and separate bars so you re never too far away from a drink.



Superb service as per expected. Love the cab service offered also, before you enter the loft to leave. Great venue for either social gatherings or date night. Recommended.

Actually some of the rudest bar staff I have ever met. If you don't flirt you may as well not be at the bar. Unbelievable! I was just here for a drink so can't judge the food

Lovely rooftop terrace for drinks, right in the heart of the city. In the not so distant past very popular with suicidal folk, on account of the low barriers around the rooftop garden.

Restaurant also serves good food. This is the first place I actually tried escargot and they were very good. A friend of mine went mental for the bread basket on offer, so I guess the bread is pretty tremendous too. The rest of the meal I can t remember much about, other than being left with a feeling that I enjoyed it (it was a long time ago, plus we had a lot to drink)

It's a great setting, atop James Stirling's beautiful building at No 1 Poultry. The rooftop garden and bar are a big draw in warmer weather, but pretty all year round.

The spacious, often lively, restaurant currently offers a superb dining experience, even by the high standards of D&D's best outings. I hadn't been for a couple of years, and went on this occasion with some friends, taking up their current post-Christmas, quiet season offer in conjunction with the Evening Standard





No skimping, no stinting... just one of the best, value for money dining experiences we'd ever had, we all agreed. Go... I urge you. I can't wait to go back, so I've just re-booked!

Too expensive for my tastes and not a lot of variety on menu. Only worth a visit if you like French style expensive food..

A wonderful restaurant. The view from the balcony is lovely, you feel like you are in an oasis in the middle of the city when you look up at all the sky scrapers around you. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The perfect place for an impressive date or a special occasion.

Went for cocktails on the roof on the most gorgeous London day. Expected overcrowding and hassle, but was so pleased at the ease of reaching the rooftop terrace and grabbing a drink while still enjoying the lively atmosphere. The views from the deck are out of this world. They even have a catwalk to go and get those spectacular shots from.

Me and two others got food poisoning from their oysters in their set menu.

Great food. But no view from the heated areas. Also, they didn't do anything for my dessert even though my boyfriend specified it was my birthday on the booking which I thought wasn't really cool for an upscale restaurant of this level. Then only after we paid the bill, they realised it and sent a dessert plate but I think we were way to full to eat anymore.

Great food, was not a fan of the decor, but that is just personal taste. It was also a little loud when trying to have a conversation. Staff is nice.

Lunch at Coq d'Argent was amazing! The restaurant is located on the rooftop of 1 Poultry and with the sun out is a beautiful setting for a lunch or dinner. I ordered the tortellini as a starter, lamb shank for main and chocolate fondant for dessert. I couldn't fault the food or the service and I would definitely go there again!

This place is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. Whenever I feel like having a proper dinner, this place comes instantly to my mind. Great and diverse food and a large menu.well mannered staff members, and nice spirit. Also, the pay is honest. I recommend this restaurant with great pleasure.

Amazing panoramic views. The restaurant is at its best in spring with all the wisteria display in the outdoor area. My favourite dish is the seafood platter. Great oysters!

Nice place. Just had a drink at the bar. The outside area is lovely for drinks or for food. Inside bar looks a little dated.

Nice city rooftop location for after work drinks. Interesting, unusual view of the city skyline - lots of cranes! But I quite like that kind of thing :) There is seating inside (for dinner), and several sitting and standing tables outside but under cover, as well as a proper outdoor green area if the sun's out.

Not the cheapest but definitely the best summer venue in the city

The photo on the website seems to show a fantastic view that is not actually available in the roof garden. Service was slow and music dull & intrusive. Clearly very popular with men in striped suits, but was expecting something classier. Not bad, but just not great.

Home rather long but pleasant receptionists. Installation at the bar until our table is free> 15 minutes without a glass of water while waiting for our cocktails while it is a standard. Cocktails good. Waiters and especially waitress around the party bar who do not care at all, not at the level of the said standing. Table installation. Clear map. Sommelier active and receptive. Very good entries. Good dishes. Cheeses that are not presented at the table ... Desserts frankly not necessary and expected much too long. Servants nice but none is really assigned to us, it is rather a pity for the follow-up. We stayed about 25 minutes at the time of the main course without anyone coming to do the '' satisfaction ''. In summary good restaurant but overvalued, we go more to eat than to spend a moment. Too bad for a rather select place.

We went for our workplace team Christmas dinner. Menu and the food was very good. But the service was just too slow. We had to wait for good 30-40 mins between each course. We had hot drinks (tea & coffee) included in the festive menu but the waiter never offered us if we wanted any.. very disappointed with the service.

Food was outstanding, especially the wild deer was very good. One of the best meal I've ever had.

It s a nice rooftop garden, the food is OK. You don t get any other feeling than this is a posh place for bankers/wankers so it s very simple minded and easy - but still enjoyable!

Having dined all over the world we really like when the combination of food, service and atmosphere combine to create a great evening.
We were very well looked after from the moment we first arrived to the moment we left. The staff were delightful, attentive and the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere.
Then there was the food...just excellent.
This is a restaurant I found by accident and we would definitely go back there when in London. It was a real treat.
