Star under Protest and Duress. They say 40 hour guarantee, per deim, with paid hotel to get you signed on. Sounds nice huh. I have worked 10 hours one week and still received the 40 hours, great right? Texas weather stopped work for a week and a half. They had me away from the family during that time, paid for the hotel, paid the per deim for that week of not working, when Friday came around they said we are not giving you a check because you guys was supposed to be sent home when Texas had bad weather. So why didn't the foreman tell us to go home? Why did they pay for hotel stay? Why did they pay the per deim if I was supposed to be sent home for that week? What happened to my guaranteed 40 hour pay check? Smh, we moved hotels every other week because A. H. BECK was only paying rooms for a week or 2 at a time. That means getting a notification Monday morning because the foreman is a heavy drinker and someone that does not take responsibility for his actions. (when getting ready for work) that you need to move out the rooms. Meaning anything you have in icebox is going to go bad seating in your vehicle all day. Lack of communication(Montez,M) and micro management are not the only reasons why I will never work for these guys. So glad I do not have to see their faces ever in life.
